  1. Now that’s a finale! I do feel bad for Nigel, but it did always seem like he was more committed to the relationship than Isaac was. At least Isaac was honest with himself and Nigel about what he needs, and there’s always a chance they’ll get back together one day. Actual lol at Alberta still singing “At Last.” She’s gonna sing, successful wedding or no. So there are limitations to Pete’s ghost power. He can venture away from the mansion but not for too long or he starts disintegrating. He did have a nice time on vacation though, and even met someone. Good for you, Pete. Aww, I’m so happy that Thor admitted to Flower that he just wants to be with her and they both said “I love you.” Way to be brave you two. ❤️ Carol and Baxter are getting married? Sure, why not. “Who’s Baxter?” “He’s very peripheral, it doesn’t matter.” Lmao. Isaac and Nigel definitely fucked up not inviting the basement ghosts to the wedding cause now Isaac is going to feel Patience’s wrath. I love that the basement ghosts just decide not to tell anyone that Patience kidnapped Isaac into the dirt.
  2. I love Hetty referring to the states west of Michigan as “exotic, far-off lands.” If Pete’s going on a field trip to the store, maybe, uh, have the person who can actually see him go too? The Deal-Mart after dark is a pretty horrifying place. And imagine how much it would suck to have to carry around a TV for all eternity! Proud of Pete for navigating his way home, even after being chased by the R2-D2 from hell. Jay going to multiple Sonics in one day and then Hetty scolding him, “You are a chef, sir!” had me rolling. Also when Sass asked Isaac to describe a bus and he described a fire truck lmao. I didn’t see the whole Thor and Nancy thing coming. He should’ve just been honest with Flower from the start because of course she would understand, but she absolutely wouldn’t like him hurting Nancy’s feelings. Alberta’s right; that thruple is going to be a train wreck. Aw, Pete is actually going to get to go on the vacation he never had and see his family.
  3. My favorite episode of the season. I think a lot of us predicted it was Ralph who got sucked off but I still cracked up at how Nancy forgot to count him because the basement ghosts are all dressed the same and she doesn’t know the exact number anyway. Never change, Nancy. So there’s a Puritan ghost named Patience who’s just been wandering through the dirt for years now? I wonder if she’s related to George, the Puritan who lives at the Farnsby’s. Thor thinking Flower was speaking to him from the great beyond rather than understanding she was in the well and Flower falling in the well because she was chasing a butterfly are why they’re perfect for each other. I loved them making the lights flicker at the end. Hetty’s death was so tragic. She killed herself because she thought it was the only way to help her son. Damn. Great acting from Rebecca Wisocky. And next week we learn about Pete’s ghost power!
  4. “She is freak but has good attitude about it.” Thor with the backhanded compliment lol. Isaac is still obsessed with dinosaurs. Honestly, walking down the aisle to the Jurassic Park theme would be awesome, so I can’t fault him. I laughed at Sam readily agreeing to hire a stripper for a ghost simply because weirder ghost shenanigans were already happening and they caught her on a good week. The stripper making dinosaur noises and spouting dinosaur facts getting Isaac turned on had me rolling. “Saul jerked himself off on to Jay.” I will never get tired of the double entendres. Saul was way too clingy for Alberta though. She just wanted some fun. And Flower is back next week! Yay!
  5. Isaac learning about dinosaurs and becoming obsessed with them was great. And of course Sass convinced him that unicorns also exist lol. Love Sam having to make the dinosaur move in the children’s book. Issac yelling “Pachycephalosaurus charge!” and then falling two stories through the wall cracked me up. Sass and Thor’s plan backfired, but it did succeed in getting Pete to realize Carol’s no good for him, so I suppose it all worked out. And Thor has newfound respect for Pete because he used violence to solve a problem. Oh Thor, never change.
  6. Good for Pete for confronting Carol about her cheating. I can’t believe she had the nerve to lie to his face and say she learned about affairs from soap operas. Guess it didn’t occur to her that Pete would’ve known since his memorial two years before. It was sweet of Alberta to help Pete out and pretend to be his girlfriend. The rom-com slow-mo of Pete at the end was hilarious. Does Alberta have a crush now? And I don’t think we’ve seen Pete remove the arrow before. In a previous episode he was having trouble sleeping. I wonder if he could keep the arrow out while he sleeps as long as he doesn’t set it down. Sass and Hetty being obsessed with what’s in Carol’s purse was great. Hetty saying “nose candy” had me rolling. In a way, I see Jay’s point, because giving money to a ghost is nuts, but saying Isaac isn’t even a real person was cruel. Giving Isaac and the ghosts their own table at the restaurant was a sweet gesture and obviously meant a lot to them.
  7. Halloween episodes never disappoint! Poor Thor just wanted Flower back and to be able to tell her he loves her, aww. I laughed at Jay greeting Flower each time they did a seance. To be fair, he had a 50/50 chance of being right. I understand both Sam being angry that the ghosts made her look foolish by not telling her Carol’s a ghost, and that Hetty and Alberta were hurt by Sam yelling at them. Hetty unintentionally quoting a dog food commercial was hilarious. Carol being a ghost in the same house is going to be a really bad time for Pete. Everyone screaming when they realized was perfect. Jay has had to remove jewelry from a dead body twice now. At this point he’s just used to it. Flower! I love that she could hear Thor shouting for her. Even for Flower, who is stoned half the time, being stuck in a well for a month must really suck. Since the séance should have worked with her ring, Sam and the ghosts will figure it out but how are they getting her out of the well? And if Flower didn’t get sucked off, who did? My money is on Stephanie, her boyfriend, or both.
  8. Quote of the episode goes either to Hetty for “your wife is community property” or Nancy for “nice ankle, you whore.” Eric really thought he wouldn’t eventually get caught in a lie about seeing ghosts? He’s lucky Bela forgave him. I love Jay making cake samples and having to announce it in every room just to be sure the ghosts heard him. I’d say that Isaac should know better than to take marriage advice from Hetty, but they’re so alike that she’s probably the only one he’d take advice from anyway.
  9. It makes total sense for Sasappis to be the one with the power to enter dreams given how important storytelling is to him. I don’t blame Jay for being upset though, since he does do a lot to help the ghosts and he got manipulated and lied to. I’m glad Sass apologized and that he and Jay can be friends. Now Jay knows what another ghost looks like, which is nice. Pete is going to get so jealous though, that Sass can talk to Jay and he can’t. Jay’s dreams were great, too. I love that Jay had a Star Trek dream. I read an article that said Utkarsh Ambudkar is a Trekkie, so that scene was fun for him to film. Poor Thor, getting used by Hettie and Alberta just so they can get sucked off. I did have to laugh at Nancy saying she’d climb him like a tree. I was hoping they’d use the Halloween episode to do a seance to bring Flower back, so I’m glad they’re going to try. If they succeed, I’m sure Flower will want to stay. Molly the maid had no reason to stay, but Flower definitely does, and unlike a lot of the other ghosts, she never seemed to care about getting sucked off.
  10. “Everybody find your suck-off buddy!” Lmao, of course the ghosts have a buddy system for such a situation. I love that by inviting the basement ghosts upstairs, Pete not only pissed off his friends but also Nancy because now she can’t hide upstairs from the other basement ghosts. It’s sweet that the basement ghosts miss Flower because she was always nice to them when no one else was. Thor’s speech at Flower’s memorial had me tearing up. “It was like first light after months of sunless winters.” Actual lol at Sam using Flower’s mug shot because it’s the only picture she could find. Regarding whether Flower is permanently gone:
  11. That was a lot of fun. I especially loved the scenes of Carol, Kamala, and Monica on the ship working out the whole switching places thing by jumping rope and balancing books on their heads. All of Kamala's fangirling over Carol was hilarious, but I also like that she apologized for sort of putting Carol on a pedestal. I get why Kamala's family was confused at Monica calling Carol her aunt since they look the same age and people may not realize Carol is decades older than she looks. Carol being a princess to a planet because she has a marriage of convenience with the prince was great. Kamala was dancing and having a good time and Monica looked like she wanted out of there immediately. I laughed when Monica told Kamala she'll have a lot of material for her Captain Marvel fanfic. My new favorite line in the entire MCU is now "Stop running and let the Flurkins eat you!" I would've gotten eaten by a Flurkin simply because I would've been trying to pet all the kittens. So Monica is now in the X-Men universe with a Maria Rambeau who is presumably the Captain Marvel of that universe and has no idea who Monica is. I like Monica's character so I'm glad that she'll be in more movies in the future.
  12. The Marvel intro going backwards was a nice touch. I knew it was coming but I still laughed when "Centuries later" popped up. I was genuinely worried there would be some kind of re-do of the citadel scene from the season one finale which would render everything that happened this season moot, so I'm glad they didn't go that route. Not counting the thousand times or so Loki relived that moment, of course. Loki walking toward the loom and his TVA clothes turning into an Asgardian outfit complete with the horns was amazingly well done. And it was beautiful how the timeline branches turned into Yggdrasil, the tree of life from Norse mythology. Love that B-15 is an integral part of running the reformed TVA and OB got to publish another manual. I'm with B-15 though, not sure reactivating Miss Minutes is a good idea. Ravonna ends up in the void, and it looks like Alioth is headed her way. It's nice that Mobius got to see his life on the timeline. Sylvie will finally get to go live her life on her terms after centuries of having to hide in apocalypses. Admittedly, I'm a bit disappointed that after everything they went through, she and Loki won't see each other again and didn't really even get to say goodbye. ...Unless we get a season three? In any case, Loki going from a villain to the hero who protects the timelines is a well done character arc.
  13. It makes so much sense that O.B was a sci-fi writer and a theoretical physicist. And he learned about creating time doors from the TVA manual that he wrote, or technically, will one day write. Another time loop. When Casey said to his fellow prisoners that they'll be gutted like a fish if they're caught, that was a nice call-back to the first episode when Casey didn't know what a fish was. So now that Loki can control his time slipping, he can go back to just before the temporal loom exploded. Timely couldn't handle the effects because he's human. It's going to have to be Loki and/or Sylvie who fix it.
  14. Love the flashback of Mariner at the academy. I laughed when Mariner pointed out the absurdity of there being three Binars rather than an even number, because I was thinking the same thing. Boimler got to be in command and actually did a good job! I thought they’d be a little sadder about Tendi leaving, though Rutherford definitely was upset. It probably will only be an episode or two until she’s back, hopefully.
  15. So Renslayer and HWR were working together until he decided he didn't like having to share power and had her memory wiped. Even without seeing Dox and the others get squished, the sounds made it clear how gruesome it was. Miss Minutes was looking all gleeful as it happened. That clock is a psychopath. Nicely contrasted with B-15's look of horror when she saw the room. I love the scene with Loki and Sylvie in the pie room, talking about how hard it is to have hope. "We have a good plan. We have a pretty good plan. We have a plan." Lol O.B. Yep, it was Loki who pruned past Loki. And Brad being a coward didn't pay off since Miss Minutes got reset and Ravonna got pruned. Sucks for you, Brad. Timely got spaghetti-fied, yikes. And the Temporal Loom went supernova. It feels almost like a season finale-level cliffhanger.
  16. Love the theme being redone to sound like old-timey carnival music. The 1893 World's Fair is a perfect setting for all of this to go down given everything else that went on. Loki's reaction to the statues was great. "Thor's not that tall." And lol at Mobius being called Loki's butler. Considering that HWR said he came from the 32nd(?) century, I hadn't really considered that variants could be born so many centuries earlier, but I guess if they fulfill similar roles on the timeline that's all that matters. Uh, Miss Minutes has a real creepy, stalker vibe going on. Sylvie hearing Victor say "I can make my own choices" is ultimately what got her to reconsider killing him. She always wanted to be free to live her own life and make her own choices despite being a variant and realized in killing him, she'd be taking that chance away from someone else. Curious what secret Miss Minutes is going to tell Ravonna. Maybe just that Ravonna is a variant who was also taken from the timeline? I don't think Ravonna knows that does she?
  17. Poor Abbi, she was so upset. I agree with everyone that I'm not sure the right person went home, since they called Rowan's bread hideous, and Dan ran out of dough and came last in the technical. I guess Abbi messing up in the signature is what doomed her, since it always ends up having more weight than the technical. So happy for Saku for winning the technical and for Tasha for her second star baker in a row. Tasha's Medusa showstopper really did look amazing and couldn't have been easy since she said she had to make sure the braids for the hands were really thin. I also loved Saku's peacock, Nicky's Highland cow, and Josh's tiger. I was a bit surprised Paul didn't give Tasha a handshake, though "you understand bread" is probably an even higher compliment. Alison is a great host and she and Noel play off each other well. Her and Nicky saying "horns" over and over made me laugh.
  18. Loki really got to be his trickster god self this episode. The shadows on the wall with the horns looked awesome. His devious plan to get Brad to spill about Sylvie's location also worked nicely. That shrinking box thing would probably get anyone to confess. I love Casey fanboying over OB and asking him to sign the TVA handbook. Even though I've already seen clips of it, the Loki/Sylvie reunion was perfect. No one does the combination of longing and heart-eyes quite like him. Mobius and Brad watching Loki and Sylvie through the window was hilarious. "There's a lot to unpack when you're basically in a relationship with yourself." Lmao, very true. Loki and Sylvie holding hands to increase their powers is one of my favorite things. Everyone watching the timelines get pruned was heartbreaking, especially B-15's reaction. "Those are people. Those are lives."
  19. Looks like group therapy is paying off for some of the tyrannical AIs. Peanut Hamper realized she actually wants to be good and Agimus is even teaching another evil AI about the power of friendship. I really thought Badgey would be the one behind what happened to all those ships, but no, just different kinds of shenanigans. RIP Logicy, you would've been good friends with T'Lyn. Hope Goodgy actually stays good, but I don't blame Mariner and Tendi for being suspicious. Badgey achieving enlightenment and seeing the Koala made me laugh. Was the talk about grapplers a shout out to that convo Boimler and Mariner had with the SNW crew? So those ships weren't actually destroyed, just kidnapped. The mystery deepens.
  20. The mystery ship strikes again! Mariner's line about the Ferengi homeworld was hilarious, and I also love Ransom saying that the Cerritos is "the horniest and least romantically committed crew in Starfleet." Tendi and Rutherford's awkward fake dating adventure was fun. They clearly are attracted to each other and have chemistry, but also happy to be friends for now. I love Boimler getting sucked into Ferengi soap operas. That's certainly one way to relax. Good job, Freeman. She beat the Ferengi at their own game. Always read the fine print!
  21. I missed this show. Feels like it's been a million years. Maybe I'm time-slipping, too. Love Ouroborus/OB and how calm he is about everything despite the insanity going on around him. Mobius had some great lines. "You both kicked each other through a time door simultaneously?" And when he said time slipping looks like being born, or dying, or both at the same time. The camera panning over to a random TVA employee in the elevator with them was hilarious. Can't blame Mobius for being concerned about the Time Loom, since having your skin ripped off does sound pretty awful, though being spaghetti-fied sounds equally terrible. I was confused at first about how Loki got pruned since he clearly didn't find a pruning stick in time, but you can see the outline of the pruning stick behind him, so someone else must have done it. Sylvie is there, so future Loki and Sylvie go back to the TVA to prune past Loki, maybe? And who was calling on the phone? So THAT'S how Sylvie ends up working at a McDonald's. The set pics had me thinking it was the 70s, but I guess late 70s/early 80s styles overlapped a bit.
  22. Kudos to all of us who predicted that it was Donna who poisoned Ben, but Cliff who pushed him. This season was easier to predict than last season, but it was because this time we basically had all the clues. The only thing a lot of people guessed that ended up being wrong was Tobert being a witness to the murder and doing nothing. It was fun seeing Charles and Oliver actually perform (poor Howard, though! He clearly wanted the role), and it's nice that Loretta actually got her big break, including more offers in LA. I hope she and Oliver stay together, because they're really sweet. And Tobert going off to LA to film a movie is a good way to end that relationship, because of course Mabel needs to stay in New York. The cliffhanger was a jaw-dropper! Poor Sazz. Someone must've mistaken her for Charles. I wonder if killing Sazz has been the writers' plan since season one, what with all the emphasis on how much she acts like Charles.
  23. “I, too, am Vulcan as a motherfucker.” “Fuck yeah! Logic, bitch!” I love Mariner and T’Lyn’s friendship. Talking about your feelings is actually helpful! Who knew? Poor Tendi missing out on a hug, though. Love the Romulans being disappointed that the Cerritos avoided crossing into the Neutral Zone. The Betazoids have a blurry image of the mystery ship. I really am curious about where the ship comes from and what their motives are.
  24. High-fives to all of us who called that Ben was talking to cookies and wrote the "fucking pig" message about himself. And also Donna being the one who poisoned the cookie. I still think there's a second murderer who pushed Ben down the elevator shaft, though. It's sweet that Mabel was happy to spend her thirtieth birthday looking for clues with Charles and Oliver and how they stuck a birthday candle in the dip. Mabel's MASH game is giving me middle school flashbacks. So many games of MASH. And poor Howard now has the compulsion to tape everything together and needs lasik lmao. I knew Howard would come through. The father(s) of the bride reference made me laugh as did Oliver's "fuckity fuck" when they saw Donna in the courtroom. My guess for who pushed Ben down the elevator shaft: Cliff. I don't know what his motive is, but it would be interesting if Donna went through all the trouble to poison Ben to protect Cliff, only for Cliff to kill Ben, too.
  25. Another one bites the dust at the hands of the mystery ship. So far it hasn't gone after any Federation ships, but I'm sure that will happen soon enough. Love the gag of Mariner getting stabbed in the same spot over and over again. T'Lyn always makes me laugh. "Who wants to rewire a ship?!" "I do not."
