If she was mad about the pot, why didn't she talk to him about it? Why give him permission? Remember the coldness started on day 2 and the alleged pot smoking started on day 2 too.. why suffer in silence?

I actually think you are wrong about the last part. (Since this is a no spoioer thread, i would hold my peace). i actually think Derek is an open book. For the main fact, he decided to be himself with Heather by smoking a day after wedding (dumb Idea), I think what you see what you get. I do think something else might be happening but on Heather's side. The pastor said things would be revealed as time passes.

That's my problem with her. As a flight attendant, she should know how to descalate issues.. when he came back to talk to her on the balcony, she could have tried resolving the issue. The flirting issue is also a tiny issue that she could have handled easily.. I do think Derek is better than David at reading cues. He definitely knows when she is faking niceness.

Derek has kept it classy on SM even after this week's trash talk. I appreciate that.. last season's drama was just insane
