I just heard the news about Mychael. I wanted to add to the thread to pay tribute to him. I loved he and Laura Bennett's friendship on season 3 of Project Runway. I was in the process of caring for my terminally ill husband during that season and Project Runway was something I looked so forward to every week, in large part due to Mychael, Laura, and all the other designers of that fantastic season. It is so horrible to hear about someone as awesome as Mychael passing away way too soon. I wish the best to his family and friends.

As to the Lochte situation, I am an avid Olympics watcher. As I recall, it wasn't the swimmers involved in the incident that went to the media. The media heard about something and contacted them. They stupidly tried to save face and really should have apologized for their terrible behavior. Now, after seeing the video at the gas station, I can understand how someone as drunk as they were would think they were being robbed, instead of it being security. Doesn't excuse their behavior and stories after the fact. They were in a different country, competing in the Olympics, and the behavior was reprehensible. However, rushing the stage, really? Brazil's issues are their own fault, not the fault of some American Athletes.

Hey Locas! I feel the need to chime in! ALYSSA MOTHER FUCKING EDWARDS!!!!!! YYYYYYYYYYEEEEEEEEEESSSSSSS!!!!!! Bitch slayed the entire episode! And I'm thrilled she sent Ginger home instead of Katya! Ginger had been middle of the road, Katya had succeeded. On to the preview for next week.....Phi Phi stirring up the troops against Alyssa? Gee, think I saw that before. Like she tried to do to Sharon and succeeded to a point with Willam season 4. Interesting right before this episode she puts it out on social media that she is being edited to be the villain this season? Honey, if you don't give it to them, they can't show it. As it turns out you really are who you showed us to begin with. I'm incredibly disappointed. I tried to give you a chance, but I'm completely over it now. Too bad, you really had an opportunity here and the fans were open to you. Loving this season, and loving all of you and your comments. Keep it up!

Now that I've watched the episode for a 2nd time....I stand by saying Katya threw that Lip Sync but Alaska did a great job! Again Alyssa was ROBBED! She was awesome! Phi Phi top 3? HELL NO!!!!! And she has learned nothing. Adore? Wow, over you so big time. I know Bianca loves her but I hope she throws in some tough love that Adore desperately needs. I get the "kids" coming up and loving you and blah blah blah, but they grow up quickly and move on. You are better than that! At this point, I just want PhiPhi to go bye bye!

Second impressions after Snatch Game....Adore, you just lost me. I was a fan but damnnnnn....... Special Snowflake much? I'm so sick of that kind of crap! Grow the FUCK up! You are talented but I've heard better voices in the first week of the Voice...every damn time they start a new season! Embrace the opportunities you have, the children that follow you now will eventually grow up! And Alyssa was rrrrrrroooooooooobbbbbbbbbbed!

Hey Locas! Loved this episode! I'm still on the fence about the elimination twist, but agreed with Coco going home. I loved Alyssa and Detox's entries for the talent show, but I totally get how Tatiana and Roxy were on top. The final twist about someone coming back and getting their revenge? Could be fun depending on how that works out. I'm so happy to have his show back and no pairing up crap. I'll miss Ross but Todrick is a great addition to the panel. Michelle, love ya, but geez! Lighten up! Looking forward to everyone's comments! TC! I must add I'm positive Alaska has had her lips done. Looks great in drag, very different as a boy!

Another member of the old people party - I was 8 in 1972 and remember watching Mark Spitz win each of his 7 Gold Medals, and in 1976 thinking what a hottie Bruce Jenner was. My how times have changed!

Hey Locas! I'm so excited for season 8! I'm enjoying the marathon, and decided to see what was up on the boards. One thing I've meant to comment on is folks perceptions of Raja. It seems most think Raja was just a fashion Queen, but not great in performance, and in some cases was dull. I so disagree! I have always found her funny and insightful, and considering having to put up with Shangela on her season, quite tolerant and tactful! I thought she did great in performances, with the exceptions of the Life, Liberty, and pursuit of Style episode, and Jocks in Frocks (although seriously, she was part of what will always be one of the greatest Lip Syncs for your life ever!), and sorry (not sorry), her runway walks were just the best! Just my 2 cents, but during the marathon, they had a segment where Raja talks about throwing tantrums behind the scenes when the cameras weren't around on season 3...it's pretty amusing!

With the comments about Carol tonight on the board, thought I'd chime in! My husband had a very serious stroke when I was 42 and he was approaching 53. We found out shortly after he had Melanoma internally. My work allowed me to work from home so I became his care taker, and he passed 6 months later. I'm on year 9 of being a Widow, and I so can relate to Carol, except for the dating younger guys part! ;) PTSD? Possibly. I won't try to diagnose someone else. I can understand the reference. Still to this day I remember one particular thing my husband said to me when I know he was feeling horrible, and it's haunted me ever since. I think when someone is sick they will lash out at the one person they know will never run away. And it still haunts me to this day and will pop into my head at random moments. As the years go by it happens less and less, but still here and there. Even the deal with having to pick up her husband's ashes reminds me of my situation. No, I don't have to go to another country to pick them up, but my husband is still in what I call the "original packaging" because he wouldn't tell me what he wanted done with his cremated remains. It bothers me 8 years later, like I've been a bad wife. But, I'm becoming more comfortable with making a decision to purchase an urn and do what I think is right, ironically after my brother passed a few months ago. Strange how things happen! I didn't post this for sympathy, just to maybe promote some understanding for Carol.

He locas! I'm about to rant! This freaking season! I don't get the eliminations! Kennedy had been in the bottom 2 before and was saved BIG TIME when Ru decided to make it a team challenge on the true stories episode! Kennedy sucked! Was it a good lip sync performance tonight? Sure, but it was a lot of moves that looked like a freaking seizure to me, as opposed to what Katya was doing! Katya did some acrobatics tonight also, and her Hello Kitty BFF runway was the best of the night! I almost fell off the couch laughing as opposed to Kennedy's weak effort! Pearl's final runway tonight was a blanket wrapped around her body with a decapitated Hello Kitty stuffed animal perched on her head! I mean seriously! Violet deserved the win, and I have enjoyed how she can laugh at herself from the Despy awards episode on. Would have loved to have seen how Miss Fame and Max would have handled this challenge. I truly miss them both. I won't make the effort to claim I'm done with this show, I'm Rupaul's bitch and will watch whatever he puts out there for Drag Race. He's brought us so much new talent over the years, and his positive attitude is just so awesome I can't quit him. Damn it!
