  1. If Rachel is right about that guy beating Rand Paul in the KY Senate race, I will love him forever. She wasn't right about Rand Paul dropping out though. Kentucky is letting him get away with running for both the Senate and the Presidency.
  2. I felt like I was 5 years old - I kept giggling every time they said the naughty word. And they kept saying it!
  3. Hee. https://twitter.com/LozzaFox/status/635781704175742976
  4. It is weird with Stacy. If she goes off her lithium, she has to tell Martin and Lily. This way they know to look out for an episode. Or in Lily's case, why her Mom is acting this way. Or is she not thinking clearly because she already is taking less medicine. But if everyone knows, they will be there to immediately go into action. But then...where's the drama. Heh, I honestly thought that Ian had seen her.
  5. Next week is Celebrity Jeopardy.
  6. Not shocking at all since they already worship Rachel but Wonkette was a bit happy with their shout out on Tuesday's show - http://wonkette.com/593079/rachel-maddow-wants-to-gay-marry-yr-wonkette-and-we-accept
  7. Plus, those of us who lost on Jeopardy have our own theme song!
  8. Oh, I'm 100% sure that Gabby didn't care what Alex did. And, that's the upsetting thing. All the mother should have done is gone over and tell her what an awesome job she did and how proud of her she is and thank J! for including her child in such a great experience. Because now all this mess is part of Gabby's memory. And, here's the thing. Yeah, I'm still a little upset that I ended the first two rounds with $0 and didn't make FJ but I'm still very proud that I was on Jeopardy. And hopefully Gabby is too. Because honestly, it is something she can say the rest of her life that she was on Jeopardy and people will be impressed. Even after they ask how you did and you say you lost, they are still really impressed. (Heh, I don't go around telling strangers I was on but sometimes when I'm in a group, someone will mention that I was).
  9. I know she's just a kid but.....I ended my game the same way and I will say that while Alex didn't console me (and really, why would he - he was busy), the Jeopardy staff did. While I was filing out my paperwork, they were all very nice and sympathetic. And really, the only interaction Alex has and should have with the contestants is during the show. So far this week, all the kids have made it to FJ.
  10. I'm pretty sure it is.
  11. It is total bullshit. They went away on vacation together to just talk?! And, he took off his tie to just talk? And he let Paul think it was an affair all these years? And, if Claudette was such a "caring" person, she would have told Les after a few years it was time to move on and start talking to Pam. And since when has she been caring - she's has been such a bitch to Denise and Kim.
  12. I'm kicking ass on this tournament! So far, I've gotten both FJ answers correct! I'm a little sad that none of the kids got Big Bird.
  13. That's the one I watched! Either BBCA or PBS showed it really early on either Sat or Sun mornings a few years ago and I just loved it. As I have said before about the Great British Bake Off, it was just really enjoyable to watch a show where people are just nice and professional.
  14. I didn't dislike the other two but I really liked Jude. I hope he's back next time (which seems possible given the amount of returnees this time).
  15. Melissa said last night (Monday) that Rachel would be back tonight (Tuesday).
  16. They probably will but it makes no sense. They've had forever to tell Paul what was really going on since he caught them on vacation. So, now Ian, Jane, Cindy, Liam, Peter, Lauren and Sharon know the Bobby is really the killer. Marcus is back!!!! And, aw, June Brown is losing her hearing and eyesight http://www.independent.co.uk/news/people/june-brown-eastenders-dot-cotton-actress-admits-she-is-losing-her-hearing-and-eyesight-10460363.html.
  17. And Stacey's key! And, the mystery of where Denny has been all these months.
  18. That was cool when of the judges for the Scotland final was one of the original calendar girls.
  19. Me too. Ian and Jane are just crappy parents. As soon as they knew what Bobby did, they should have gotten him therapy immediately. He could have easily killed Cindy when he pushed her. He cannot control his anger. I guess between this and the rape storyline, they must think we love these storylines where nothing is ever resolved. Also with Alfie's illness, Kat's missing son, the key to something really important.....
  20. I hate everyone who jumps around the board.
  21. Lord. Its just a show. Its only the second week and so much controversy. Though, now I think some of the articles are just lets find something new to criticize. Heh, if she thinks the Barbican are over policing, she should attend a Broadway Show. Those ushers really make sure the audience is behaving.
  22. I honestly was going to give Arthur another chance yesterday and then he picked his first question and yep, hatred was back. I will give him props for being the only one to get FJ yesterday. I probably said this when it originally aired but honestly, if you make it to the semifinals of the TOC, you should know Proust. Or at least the one line that everyone knows from Proust.
  23. And, so far I can't remember who won the tournament so it will be a nice surprise on Friday.
  24. Exactly! When I see Hamlet, I want to actually have all my attention on what's happening on the stage and not watch if via my itouch. Plus, its super rude to the people around you and the actors. If you want to really see it and can't get to London, its being released in the theatres in mid October. You don't need to have people post it on the internet. FYI, if you wind up making a last minute trip to London, every so often tickets become available via the Barbican website.
  25. Heh, seriously, couldn't Carol just look it up on the internet...or a phone book....or a directory of lawyers (I know that's not the right term for British legal folks- is she a solicitor/barrister?). Really Vincent? Its your decision who lives in the house that isn't yours? And, we all know it wasn't Kim's idea.
