I don't follow track and field outside of the olympics. Do distance races usually so few lanes for so many runners? Seems just to be asking for falls like the one that already happened. Why not use more lanes of the track?

I like how they include all the time of US team sitting around waiting for scores or their turn rather than actually showing gymnasts from other countries because who cares about them. USA! USA!

I only watch swimming sometimes at the Olympics. Phelps bragging was just really off putting. Oldest obviously doesn't mean the most mature. I get he's a great athlete but I am so over the Michael Phelps show. How many races does he have left?

I'm trying to watch the UB stream from NBC's site that was linked above and I keep getting interrupted by ads. Is this happening to anyone else? It is really irritating

This is nitpicky but why is the word refugee in quotation marks? This seems to suggest they aren't real refugees and I know no one here actually believes that. I need to check the schedule to see when they are competing so I can watch. I hope NBC airs all of their competitions but I doubt they will.

I don't blame the USA athletes for being excited and chanting when they see a camera pointed at them. I do blame NBC for showing them every 5 seconds. It is really obnoxious.

I went through the hotspot list and either they weren't streaming live, regionblocked (I am guessing) or required some kind of log in. So I am still watching a low quality spammy stream. AT least it has no commercials.
