  1. It was a callback to his passive aggressive chair battles with Cersei and Tywin.
  2. When she turned to do a second page, I could only hope she'd find more interesting (shady) things to write. Squired for Battistan Selmy against the Kingswood Outlaws. Knighted and named to the Kingsguard in his sixteenth year for valour in the field: at the Sack of Kings Landing, murdered his king Aerys the second at the foot of the Iron Throne Pardoned by King Robert Baratheon Thereafter known as The Kingslayer After the murder of King Joffrey I by Tyrion Lannister served under King Tommen I Captured in the field at the Whispering Wood Set free by Lady Catelyn Stark in return for an oath to find and defend her two daughters Lost his hand Took Riverrun from the Tully rebels, without loss of life Lured the Unsullied into attacking Casterly Rock, sacrificing his childhood home in service to a greater strategy Outwitted the Targaryen forces to seize Highgarden Fought at the Battle of the Goldroad bravely, narrowly escaping death by dragonfire Pledged himself to the forces of men and rode north to join them at Winterfell, alone Faced the Army of the Dead and defended the castle against impossible offes until the defeat of the Night King Escaped imprisonment and rode south in an attempt to save the capital from destruction Died protecting his Queen Constantly smelled of secondhand alcoholism Terrible sense of humor Foreplay game weak Small peesh Refuses to go "downtown" Doesn't call the next day
  3. The full conversation following Jon screaming at Daenerys about what's down in the KL streets: Drogon shows up immediately, having climbed up the castle walls. He knew Jon was going to kill her. He definitely knew it when he let him enter the Throne Room.... But in hindsight, he may have known it here:
  4. What do three of the most powerful people in Westeros (Bran, Tyrion, Sansa) have in common? Not one of them lifted a finger to save humanity from eternal winter.
  5. And so Sansa's story ends the same way it began: throwing a tantrum and being over-indulged by her family (anything to shut her up.)
  6. Medieval Simon Bolivar. And they looked fucking amazing considering "a castle fell on them." It actually looked like there was more rubble under them than over them, and they managed to die cuddling. Luckily Jamie had the good sense to shove his golden hand out so as to be easily spotted. My only gripe about this finale was that we spent what seemed like 4 hours watching Tyrion walk in silence to find two people whose stories were finished last week.
  7. "I've never borrowed money before, I'm not clear on the rules." "Well the basic principle is that I lend you money and after an agreed upon period of time, you return it- with interest." "And what if I don't?" Solid choice, Bran the Broken and his Broken Hand.
  8. In the interview with the new Prince of Dorne (on the previous page), the Toby Osmond said that there were four other roles available for "powerful men" so the guy sitting between Sam and Edmure must have been one of those nameless but powerful men. Registered voters: The North / Sansa Stark The Vale / Robyn Arryn The Riverlands / Edmure Tully The Iron Islands / Yara Greyjoy The Stormlands / Gendry Barratheon The Westerlands / Tyrion Lannister Dorne / Random Dornish Prince The Reach / My best guess for unnamed guy, since Bronn hadn't been named Lord until after Bran was elected as King
  9. Speaking of.. "Love is the death of duty." -Jon "Sometimes duty is the death of love." -Tyrion NOBODY FUCKING SAYS THAT, TYRION ughh twisting Maester Aemon's sage advice to suit your agenda per usual. Stop trying to make your own proverbs happen, they're not going to happen.
  10. The only armor Daenerys wore was Plot Armor.
  11. High in the halls of the kings who are gone, Jenny would dance with her ghosts (scene in the Throne Room) The ones she had lost (Drogo/Drogon) And the ones she had found (Jon) And the ones who had loved her the most (Both)
  12. He was nudging her to roll her over (so he could pick her up)- he wasn't trying to wake her up. Drogon wouldn't kill Jon- because Daenerys loved him. He mourned Ser Jorah for the same reason.
  13. To the Night Lands. Honestly, this finale cements my theory. Drogon knew that accomplishing Daenerys' goal of breaking the wheel began with the destruction of the Iron Throne. That's not something most dragons would understand. Drogon had no goal other than to watch over Daenerys until she could eventually ride with him in the afterlife.
  14. Looked a whole lot like Cersei's wardrobe.
  15. Bran didn't have enough humanity to thank Meera for saving his life 1000x North of the Wall. But 6 hours after his coronation he developed the ability to be snarky to his Small Council.
  16. Daenerys sure didn't sound "mad" to me. Farewell, Mother of Dragons. You will always be my Queen.
  17. The North won't kneel again... not even to Ned Stark's trueborn son and a lifelong Northerner? Shut the fuck up, Sansa.
  18. They had to choose Bran because they needed a King who has his own chair. R.I.P. Iron Throne, you turned everyone to shit anyway.
  19. In another universe, he would've been too busy binging My 600 Lb. Life and loving these forums to get into all that mess.
  20. My mom said who has all of that hot pink? LOL It was like a damn Barbie Dream House. But like, also the stuff of nightmares.
