Shouldn't all this demographic breakdown be done after the results are all in, to explain the outcome?

If anyone hasn't seen this yet, when John McCain and his wife Cindy went to the polls today, Cindy was wearing A WHITE PANTSUIT! and the Senator was wearing white pants with his dark jacket.

Right now Trump's lead in FL is almost 2-1 (oy).

FYI, for those who want to follow newspaper coverage, NY Times and Washington Post have both dropped their paywalls for the election. Probably other major papers throughout the country as well.

I just want to say how much I've enjoyed reading the interesting, informative comments on these threads. However the election turns out, it's really been quite the ride thanks to all of you.

Even worse is his promising to bring back coal mining. Please, don't these people who've lost their livelihoods needs something real to give them hope, rather than fantasies?

OMG. I did the same thing. I'm the same age as Hillary and retired and I almost never wear makeup anymore because I'm pretty sure nobody at the supermarket cares what I look like. But today I did the shadow/mascara/lipstick thing, I guess because I wanted to make a good impression when I cast my ballot.

Entered my polling place this morning and saw Rebecca Traister, on the rapidly moving line. After I voted, saw Erin Gloria Ryan heading down the street in the direction of the polling place. I kind of felt like I was on an episode of All In.

I could be wrong about this (or about anything), but I thought there were 650,000 on the computer which, if it were Weiner's computer, would have been mostly to/from him. The latest warrant was for Huma's emails which were probably far fewer in number.

I honestly believe that the news anchors will be even happier than the rest of us when this election is over because they won't have to talk to these "surrogates" anymore. At this point people like Delgado, Pierson, and McEnaney (apologies for any misspellings) are being laughed at by the people interviewing them when they spout their inanities because it's beyond the point of absurdity.

I stand second to no one in my love for "Hamilton"; I've seen it 8 times (so far), but if Hillary wins we need a new song. Don't forget that the founding fathers believed only white male landowners should have the right to vote, so we've come a long way in ways both good (more diversity) and bad (OMG, just look at this election).

Second day of Dem convention. TV reporter asks two Bernie delegates from Florida (sisters, middle-aged) if they would follow Bernie’s lead and vote for HRC in the general. One sister says yes because in 2000 she had voted for Nader and, after Gore lost, swore she would never again waste her vote [her words] with a protest vote. Other sister says she’ll vote for one of the third party candidates because the DNC needs to be punished for its pro-Hillary bias during the primaries. What the actual fuck? Does she not realize that a Trump victory would punish all of us? I can only hope that in the time since the convention she has come to her senses and will do the right thing.

I'm sure DailyKos makes every effort to be impartial, but so many stories on that site give me a "rose-colored glasses" vibe.

I am completely baffled by the fact that Eichenwald's stories have gotten virtually NO ATTENTION from other news outlets. If I didn't see these stories on Rachel's show, I would know nothing about them despite the fact that I spend an inordinate amount of time on news/political websites. And Ghouliani (thank you for that nickname) has admitted on TV that the Trump campaign got a heads-up from the FBI about the latest email story.

^ I wish I could like this 100 times. I'm already missing them in anticipation.
