There's certainly Tommy's funeral in 419. And we saw PB with KC with the wig, didn't we?

I don't doubt that's a part of it, but it's very superficial and someone needs to scratch that surface badly. It's not that I need there to be a death requirement fulfilled, quite the contrary. For instance, while both Dig and Felicity lost people, I never thought that was what motivated them to join the team and I never questioned why they did so. Now that I'm thinking about it, I think Roy was the last character whose vigilante motivation was explained satisfactorily. Thea's may be similar to his, but we haven't been showed that, not really. So here's hoping that's something they delve into next year, since I doubt thay'll get into it as they wrap up the season.

Sure it does if Oliver kills her. I will honestly keep harping on this until I am proven wrong. It woukd just be such an easy fix for this year's flashbacks and propel Oliver quickly to what he needs to become before returning home. I'm thinking there's no way these flashbacks completely parallel the present. He can't have been on the island for six months at this point. Maybe next year's flashbacks will cover more than a year to catch up to where we need to be by the pilot.

Too bad it's not more proficient at it. I mean, Laurel's short road to vigilantism is enough of a headscratcher, but then we have Thea, who's been crime fighting for coming up on a year now and I'm still not really sure why.

If they ever do wake up and make her regular, the way she relates to Oliver would be one of the biggest assets she broought on. It's unique, and that's just from two moments we got over the course of 3+ seasons. Then there's also that great dinner scene with Felicity and Thea last year. I wouldn't mind more of that. But really, bringing ARGUS more to the foreground through her character would be great. And that's the part where her marriage could become interesting. Like, does Dig doing what he does cause problems for her at work?
-
Surprisingly, no. :)

I would take Lyla as a regular in a second. I love Donna since she pranced in on too high heels and too short a skirt, mbut think she works perfectly as a recurring character.
-
I'll do you one better. I thought it was a good interview all around.
-
My first reaction was nice news for EK, but do we really need more of Curtis? Then I got to thinking that we won't necessarily get much more of him than we do now. After all, Lance is a regular and he's hardly overtaking the show. So, if that's how that regular gig goes, I'm all for it. @tarotx, jinx.

Because he was Ra's Al Ghul!

I won't lie. If anyone utters the words gun show, I'll be more forgiving towards the suit.
-
What, you didn't quote the part about the suit? I cracked up at the gun show.

Donna got two mentions on TV Line's Quote of the week list.

Thinking about surprising offer for Laurel, what if it's from Ruve? She already approached Alex last week? What if she sort of goes for Laurel next and Laurel decides to go undercover like Oliver was contemplating earlier in the season? There is that mayoral race set from this episode, so Ruve could certainly be involved in Laurel's downfall. She's obviously not the main culprit seeing as she isn't a man, but that doesn't preclude her from playing a role. ETA: What are your guesses on when we're getting,"I thought of you"? It's got to be some time in the next three episodes, because they were in production for 420 when SA shared that. I doubt it will be this one. I'm not even sure if it'll be 19 since that's the aftermath and flashbacks to Tommy's funeral, so likely episode 20?

Christina Radish from Collider is interviewing WM and MG today and she's taking questions on Twitter. https://twitter.com/christinaradish/status/716854814580191233

She definitely had a screener this season. I think it may have been the crossover, but I'm not certain.
-
Here, I posted them in Social Media since the don't look spoilery.

I would most like a season 1 like present day ending. One that makes both the characters and the viewers take stock of both the wins and losses.

I may like the coloring one even better.

EK posted some snapchats with him and EBR over the weekend. https://twitter.com/oliversmoakin/status/716506825680560128 https://twitter.com/oliversmoakin/status/716507072741793793 https://twitter.com/oliversmoakin/status/716508515406196736 https://twitter.com/oliversmoakin/status/716513117472038912 As far as I can tell from Twitter, this isn't necessarily Arrow related. Cute though. And CR sort of goes the extra mile to support EBR's T-Shirt.
-
I'm not sure this is for Arrow. Word on Twitter is that EBR is doing some short movie over the weekends with some Flash cast (and possibly EK) involved.
-
The penultimate episode is still in production. Due to some BTS photos, I thought she might be on 4x22, but it's sort of hard to belive she'd chose to leave before the last episode and not help the team and her dad.
-
It sounds like guesswork. I'm not sure whether they're implying it will be Sara or the girl who shows up wih Nyssa at the funeral who takes up the mantle. Have there been rumors about CH not getting along with SA or anyone else on set? All I remember reading was that he was a network hire and the show let him go when they were able to.

Snicker. It's really not. And I was very open to a female villain. Instead she followed Cupid's lackluster appearance last week and I'm left wondering whether Arrow has ever had a truly effective female villain. Moira was terrific, but I wouldn't really paint her as a villain when all is said and done. The Huntress sort of grew on me over her appearances, even if she started of really badly IMO. They didn't really know what to do with Isabel, China White was really just a glorified goon. I mean, who else is there? I'd be hoping for Poppy if the actress was at least marginally close to good. What does it take to get a compelling female villain?

I'm not reading much into "you need to kill him", since pretty much everyone has come up to Oliver with the request for him to off someone, without offering to take care of it themselves or to participate.
