Thea wasn't affected by Barry's speeding either in the last crossover as far as I can remember. And Felicity has never been. It obiously doesn't affect everyone the same way.

Did we see Felicity holding the pen at the end of their 103 scene? Maybe Oliver filched it.

There doesn't really need to be an explanation for why things changed. This isn't an alternate reality in which one change led to others, it's a hodge podge of these five people, their memories and wishes all scrambled into one. There's Thea reusing Oliver's lines from the pilot, him inexplicably having quick refelexes. It seems to me that things start getting weird really soon and that, yes, the recycled dialogue is an intentional tie to the real world, and not just cutesy nods to previous episodes. I watched the preview and what most confuses me is where the eff areOliver and Laurel? Is it a bathroom, a spa, an indoor pool? The room looks crazy. And yeah, I'm counting on the last scene with Sara being after figuring out the dream world and she's mad that he's dissing Laurel and breaking her heart and that she will also be leaving her.

I'm finding it difficult to imagine him worrying about upsetting any fan base. If anything, he redacted that to stir shit up.

Isn't that how he described finding BC in 510 or 511?

No, I'm with you on Laurel being there for Sara. She's the one mentioning wanting her back on The Flash and I gather she tried something on LoT. So she's conjuring up Laurel being alive and getting what she wanted, i.e. Oliver.

DR is my favorite. That's my boo boo. Hee.

On the other hand, what would they have had Iris doing if she wasn't parenting Wally? Honest question, because nothing comes to mind. Tumblr just reminded me of this excellent moment.

Plus, they needed set up for tonight's part of the crossover. That's why Sara also needed to mention Laurel.

Didn't Barry actually make off with him and then the flying team members followed them to the roof? I just assumed Heatwave was puking his guts out during the fighting. This was one of my favorite random moments as well. Also Sara turning into an embarassed mom when Mick was mouthing off Supergirl. Were my eyes deceiving me or was she wearing a crap ton of rings in that scene? Commemorating Laurel? Keeping to the sartorial note, Iris' outfit was giving me real Pretty Woman flashbacks. I thought it was heaps of fun even if parts of it were dumb.
