World leaders don't respect trump. They fear him because of the power of the us army and because he is nuts and makes rash decisions. But they dont respect him as any sort of political mastermind or for any intelligence he has, which is none.

In regard to the election and discussion about disagreements, and I'm not just referring to this thread, the era with trump of open discussion and 'Respectfully disagreeing ' is over. Trump insults, demeans, disrespects and bullies his opponents continuously, repeatedly and as a way of daily discourse and functioning. Expecting to defend him and asking others to ignore that just is not going to happen anymore. We are beyond the polite disagreement and 'oh I just have a different view' stage. We are on the pick and side and be ready to fight tooth and nail stage before he completely ruins and takes over the country. We are no longer picking between two views of which side is better to run the country. We are at the point of one side is seizing control illegally and the other side better respond and stop it before we are a dictatorship.

This made for a great show and whodunit But can't say I liked the outcome. A teenage son killed an abusive father. 10 years ago. Feel bad for the kid, though he's 25 now. I know he feels unburdened but I hope they go light on him. House arrest, probation. Also....why did he have to move the body at alll? He covered up the electrocution and that was never discovered. Couldn't he have just left the body in the shower they said it could be confused with a heart attack. Finally .....if the dad had just not confessed the grandson probably gets away with it forever. It was only his confession that prompted the investigation. By confessing he caused the grandson to be caught. I just recognized his voice as Lana's dad from archer. But looking him up, my god he's been in a ton of stuff. Including future man. Underrated show.

The other thing I've come to believe is those that did vote for him have a false sense of the danger he poses to the country and seem to be in denial about his plans One person stated while hes not a fan he didnt like harris andd feels like trump is no worse than many past presidents. Another just tends to vote republucan and doesn't believe the he will be as bad for the country as democrats claim. They seem to be in denial in other words about how bad he could be for the country and seem to think the party and system will keep him from doing major long term damage. Or just feel like the potential danger from him is exaggerated. I think they're completely wrong and naive, but seems to be the thinking Despite liking to complain about the government, the two party system and who is in office Americans seem to have a 'or can't happen here ' view of a any major power grab towards loss of democracy and real choice. Each step of the way by trump they justify and rationalize and are just in denial about what a shit show this could become quickly. Major powers eventually fall and often fall quickly.
