This gets asked every year and every year the answer is the same. Her job title should not be "Head Choreographer", it should be "Head of Choreography". She knows the standard and approves the dances, but she doesn't create. I don't know if she ever did, but we've never seen it.

It's possible that she didn't/doesn't have a choice in the matter.

It wouldn't surprise me if they have a 'girls bedroom' set that they use for some of those TC confessionals. WAY less expense and hassle than filming girls in their actual homes. They probably didn't bother to re-dress it because they thought we wouldn't notice. Nice catch!

The DCC have looked 15 years older (in the face) than their actual ages since Kelli took the reigns. Look back at pics of Kelli in the late '80's, early '90's. She looks older THEN than she does NOW.

Jerry's stated beliefs and his actual beliefs might very well be different. Just a thought.

I think it's time for a WOC, and I think The Cowboys would love that for their optics. My personal favorite would be the GOAT herself, Nicole Hamilton. But Jacie's resume might top hers. I'm going on the assumption that the Assistant Director will take over when Kelli retires, so whoever they announce is a big deal.

I think the key is that good DCC dancers routinely drink while underage and have always (and always will) mess around with players. The DCC marketing has always been the same as it was for the young Britney Spears: Look like an object purely intended for the male gaze, but pretend you're a good Christian virgin who wouldn't let butter melt in your mouth. Holly's anger (and Jenna's, because she was pissed too) came from being called on behavior that they had been engaging in since they made the team, and who learned how and where to do it from vets that got away with it. We have to remember that the DCC are not what they pretend to be, and management knows that.

I'll take a young woman who knows her worth (Holly) over a young woman who is trying so hard to fit into a box that her face is nigh un-recognizable (Lacy, and countless others), every single time.

I still only see one mistake. Being demoralized and worried about COVID protocol probably did make her less precise, but nowhere near enough to justify her cut. Except that this is the DCC we're talking about, and they like to cut people purely for the drama it creates on camera.

It was the same clip, shown on different episodes and at different times, in order to convince you she deserved her cut. Reality TV should never, ever be trusted.

The love on this forum for Meghan isn't something you can necessarily pick up on if you aren't an MTT super fan. Think about WHY she was the first DCC training camp candidate in history to be invited back for a third time. Think about the kind of convincing it would have taken for her to put herself through that kind of grind for a THIRD summer. And then think about what Judy has said repeatedly (even way back then) about TCC. "We can't keep taking them into camp if they haven't improved, it's too hard on us and them." My point is that Meghan HADN'T improved, and everybody (including CMT) knew it, except for poor Meghan. They brought her back because they knew viewers were invested in her story, and would watch to see if she made the team. What you're seeing in her cut scene is her realizing she's been manipulated and lied to for the sake of ratings. Her telling K & J "You have no hearts" is probably the most polite "Fuck you, I know what you're doing and why" in all of reality TV. And she's the only TCC or DCC that's ever done it. And that's why we love Meghan Flaherty.

I think it's more likely that associating with Chelsea might have put their tenure at risk. Kelli hated Chelsea for that glimpse into the real world of DCC.
