  1. That was the "Addiction Demon", which March said Sally and all of the other junkies who've stayed at the Cortez have created.LOL "addition demon" i don't suppose i need to explain that infernal autocorrect. It's so seldom actually correct!
  2. It doesn't seem appropriate for someone with obvious personal bias to be a moderator on this (RHOA) topic. I think that there will always be "ruffled feathers".
  3. James smokes like a movie Nazi. Otterpops. I can't imagine giving anybody, other than a diabetic, shit for eating Otterpops. They are sugar water. Jesus. I have to write that down for later use.
  4. I liked your post. You are totally right, and I hadn't even thought about an Otto story, and think it would be a great idea to sort of fill in the rest of the story. But I disagree about relevance. I don't think it has to be current to be relevant. Plenty of television is set between the present and ... I don't know, but any time before that. Not trying to be snarky, and I did like your post, but I think people would watch it.
  5. I've been wondering if maybe "I don't remember " was kind of calculated to be the most crazy-making thing Eddie could have possibly said. -And I cannot imagine Rocky not holding the mug over her head, yelling "Kate's drinking!" if the mug existed at all. I have heard the Captain say that the tip was being split ten ways. I can't remember in which episode, at the moment....
  6. Ever since he stopped being civil with her, I have thought that he was taking out his feelings about himself - on her. He seems really disgusted. Way too much, and it seems telling.
  7. Not off topic at all, I don't think. I'm wishing somebody could come up with something else to discuss than whether or not chinese lanterns are legal or even ethical. I mean it's a compelling subject, but it's not really Below Deck fun. I really enjoy how insightful the people on this board can be, but this seems to have been a pretty two-dimensional season. -edit. I realize that I'm really hoping to see Donnie's delusional self on the reunion! He was the second most important person on the boat, if I recall.
  8. I don't think that the lanterns are a problem. I think that they climb, until they go out. I know that they make them biodegradable now. Here's one example of what's being sold: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=9SIA4V61M88077&nm_mc=KNC-GoogleMKP-PC&cm_mmc=KNC-GoogleMKP-PC-_-pla-_-Lanterns%2c+Lights+%26+Torches-_-9SIA4V61M88077&gclid=CjwKEAiA7MWyBRDpi5TFqqmm6hMSJAD6GLeAReh4IyRzHANlCKRSSGfvYpqSNyu6-OtSN5tfGnJulRoCrcTw_wcB&gclsrc=aw.ds I was reading about them on wikipedia, and the page there says that they are banned in Kittias County Wa, Riverside County Ca, and also D.C.. I know that in my state (WA), they are banned due to fire concerns. I don't think that they are the best idea, but it's not like anybody is dumping crude oil into the ocean.
  9. I have no idea what you're talking about. :) Seriously, though. I would never admit how many times I watch an episode!
  10. - That's what I thought. I've seen Capt Lee's blog on his site, and it is just like his writing on Bravo. Clearly he is blogging, and others won't bother to. If interns were writing the blogs, then they would be getting done, which mostly they aren't. I think that it is a reflection of the work ethic (or maybe the desire to be heard) of the person who bothers to blog. Capt. Lee and Kate seem like the type, and as it turns out they are. Here's the link : http://www.thecaptlee.com/
  11. I really thought Connie's reaction to Donnie quitting was priceless, and established her value. She was not the most entertaining, as HumblePi said, but somebody has to play the role of worker bee. Everybody can't be like Rocky, that show would suck.
  12. She has said that she doesn't bathe, other than ho-baths, most of the time.
  13. Yeah! And I thought it was Eddie all season.
  14. I have been enjoying watching Cait learn how to be a girlfriend! She sure has a long way to go, but I think that since her heart is in the right place, she'll learn a lot.
  15. I guess you haven't tried to "parent" an adult daughter!
  16. I have to disagree on you with that assumption, RE: genetics. She was most definitely not blessed, in that department. You must know nothing about her training before the Olympics, not to mention the drive she always had and always will have. This is not your example of superior genetics, this is an example of an exceptional person. I really don't understand the way you're bringing genetics into this, this is a person who's "genetics" forced her to have to take hormones to get things right. "Genetics"? You're selling EVERYBODY short.
  17. Just wow. I just read the quote you provided. What I see is BarbaraLewis saying that people who are saying that they wish she would just go away, now have something in common with the phobic morons. -And why on Earth is she not allowed to shop? Has she lost all right to any old damned life she chooses? Caitlyn is not a spokesperson, but she IS responsible for making ME think. You know, if you don't like being in someone's company, it's most expedient to just remove yourself. You don't really believe that you can "poof! Begone!" someone do you? Some of the differences we need to respect are not pretty, like attention-seeking and vanity. This is a real person who has to live the way she sees fit. You can't just select the differences you want to respect. BTW: The way that you state your opinion is very off-putting, and only a masochist would let you twist their words around and then argue your agenda with you. Maybe I'm being cranky, but you're rubbing me the wrong way. I don't like the way you just stuffed a bunch of words into Barb's mouth, and then chewed her out.
