  1. I just don't understand what is happening here. What is wrong with Amber?
  2. I know it’s early, but this wins the Internet today! 🀣🀣🀣🀣🀣
  3. Staaaaahp it!!!!!!! πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚
  4. I am dying right now! I can barely type!
  5. My thought exactly. And part 2 airs onNew Year’s Eve.
  6. Of course Catelynn calls in, lest Tyler be away from her for a minute. And when the host calls Tyler a "businessman" why does he not mention the clothing line for some free publicity? I have to chuckle when the host called the two of the intelligent!
  7. Word! And whenever anyone here mentions Heather B., I get a little spring in my step!!!!
  8. PREACH!!!! As a former TV producer, I can tell you we go for the most interesting stuff and amp it up and even stage stuff. One person who was cast for a show I was working on about moms who flip houses, realized how she was being seen and started to pull back. She became very measured in what she said and did. We had to find out what was happening in her life and she was instructed to tell us what was on her calendar. So she tells me, "Oh, here is something interesting! I'm donating blood plasma!" I told her, "Unless you are caulking the windows with it, I don't think we'll shoot that." We actually used footage of her and her co-star struggling to install a bathroom vanity and we caught the very real reaction with frustration and salty language (not even that bad). She was mortified at what the ladies at her church would say when they saw that. So yeah, the boring stuff you do every day doesn't really make for compelling TV. If you are cast in a reality show, remember that what you think is interesting TV probably isn't to the producers.
  9. He is using a cutting method I have used to remove the watermelon rind. Usually I do it when I want to cut chunks for a fruit salad.
  10. I'm just waiting for the premiere of "Teen Mom: Tyler's Niece". Those kids really have the deck stacked against them. Maybe one of you eagle-eye viewers can tell me if the niece was reaching for a pack of cigarettes in front of Catelynn. It may have been gum, but I thought it was a pack of menthols. That scene with Butch and Catelynn was actually kind of nice. And it was good to see the flashback of how they used to be. I'm pulling for Butch. He seems to have gotten serious about recovery and making changes in his life. He looks healthy. RIP Butch's glorious mullet. Cate could learn something from her father-in-law/ex-stepfather. FF's through Cheyenne and I was just bracing myself for Dakota to mention September 9th during that scene in the restaurant with this friend. Bristol is annoying even when talking to her son!
  11. Maybe. But I have feeling that he wants to be in charge and I don’t think he has it in him to realize another person’s design. I also think his taste level might be suspect. It’s one thing when you are designing your own house, but it’s quite another when you are working for someone else.
  12. I really need to see some better photos of this bathroom so I can get a better sense of what his "vision" is. That light fixture in the dining room is very cool, but the table and bench seating isn't for me. Do we think that the rest of the house looks like Pinterest threw up all over it? An explosion of HGTV? Will there be shiplap in every room?
  13. I think the show Catelynn was taping was the 20/20 "What Would You Do?" special from a few months ago. The outfit she was wearing the phone call to Tyler scene was the same denim suit she wore on 20/20. She really had nothing to add to segment she participated in on 20/20.
  14. These girls do not WORK together except for reunions and press week. Seriously, they live their own separate lives and live in different parts of the country and shoot their storylines separately. I understand that they have gotten close b/c this is an experience only they can share (being the subjects of this particular show), but just because Farrah didn't want to hang with them, they say she removed herself from them. (Or whatever Amber and Cate said) Farrah is a pain, but maybe she didn't want to hang out with those three. Let's forget how much of a awful person Farrah is. What if she just wanted to keep to herself at those reunion and press events and didn't talk trash about the show? Would she be allowed to be off by herself without incurring the wrath of the three stooges? As for "building" the show or whatever they said, remember when Larry and Farrah had their blow out fight in front of her house? I still think of what he said to her, "When I found you, you were in a cheerleader uniform!" They should watch what they say because Larry and MTV can giveth, but they can also taketh away. And if Bristol politely said hello to Cate, there is nothing wrong with that. It's called being polite! Did she expect everyone to be her bestie as soon as they walked in the room? I think Bristol probably has better manners than Cate and/or Cheyenne. As for the ratings, in today's TV landscape, the threshold for keeping a show on the air is so much lower than it used to be. I can see Young and Pregnant getting cancelled before OG. Did you all realize that for a couple of weeks all the teen pregnancy show were on the air at the same time? Unexpected on TLC, and OG and Y &P on MTV. It's like when all four major professional sports are being played in October!
  15. That whole discussion between Kayla and her mother killed me. Seriously, Kayla! You mother is helping you out by letting you stay in her home rent free (presumably). That is how she is helping you! She can also help you out with your son, as we saw when she was giving him his bottle during your conversation. And she pays your phone bill and car insurance? Icing on the cake. How can she not understand that? And while I'm sure she likes having you around (for whatever reason) and loves seeing her grandchild, she probably doesn't want to raise another baby. She has to get ready for her next NKOTB cruise! Let the woman live! My mom told me that the only way she could help me when I was a young adult was to give me a place to live rent free. She couldn't pay my rent or utilities on an apartment. She was retired, so she could do the laundry and cook meals (many of which I didn't eat b/c I wasn't home). But I paid for my car, my cellphone, my student loan, my credit card bill, and any other costs I personally incurred. And was able to save money. I never expected her to pay for stuff like that. I'm glad her mom told Kayla what is what. Kayla needs to grow up!
  16. Did anyone notice how weird Amber looked with her mic pack on her back? She looked liked the Hunchback of Notre Dame! Also in those preview clips: Did Maci actually have her hair styled like that?
  17. To Catelynn and Tyler, Carly is their biological child or birth child. To Teresa and Brandon, she is their child or daughter. Carly was "placed for adoption," not "given up for adoption." Catelynn and Tyler "made an adoption plan," they did not "give her up for adoption." They "terminated their parental rights." Words matter and that is why more positive adoption language is being used. It shows respect to all the parties involved. If that stupid agency taught these dolts anything, they would know this. It's also kind of common sense. Calling Carly their "daughter" is really disrespectful to the people who do. But what can you expect from them?
  18. I call shenanigans on this whole scene. That was such a set up call! I adopted a child and we have an open adoption. I have told my daughter about her birth mother and other other kids this woman had. And I explained the reasons why she was placed for adoption. She is 6 and I tell her as much as she can understand. But we don't have family visits. She is not receiving birthday video messages from her half-siblings. I keep in touch with her birth mother and we remember that day my daughter was born. But we don't hear from the adoption agency or our social workers or our lawyers or anyone who worked on our adoption case. Because of the whole teevee factor, Dawn probably has to make these stupid calls. I'm not denying the validity of the birth parents' feelings and the loss they may feel. But life moves on. Dawn has other clients and she should move on. They just bother me every time they call Carly their "daughter." I want to punch them!!!!!
  19. I love this so hard!!!!!!
  20. Also, is being a "pretty little girl" the only thing Nova has going for her? Know what I mean? She's cute, but do they teach her anything else? Why am I asking when I know the answer?
  21. I know! I can't believe she actually went through with the ceremony. Now she has to go through all the legal mess of a divorce. The other storyline with the "pick a husband that we found for you" party was kind of sad. She wanted to be with the guy she liked and ended up with the guy she just met. Why do they insist on these kids getting married to the first person they see? So bizarre to me! I only watched this train wreck of a show because I saw the wedding part when I switched over to live TV and it was tuned to TLC to record "Unexpected." I recorded it on the late feed because I had to get the whole story.
  22. I was wrong! Kayla said $20 per week. Oops!
  23. That was heartbreaking! Hearing Jade cry and her POS Mom trying to help was sad. But then her mom asked her for money and took her computer on the way out. Did she say she was sleeping in her car? Then she lectures Jade on drug use when she is clearly still using. What a piece of work! Poor baby, Kloie. She is so cute and surrounded by so much trash. Stephan is the absolute worst! His child support is $20 a day! Seriously? He could beg on the street and still cover that. They should have hit him up for way more. It's the "he's the worst" tax he should be made to pay! I loathe him! ETA: The amount Kayla said was actually $20 per week in child support.
  24. My fave quote of yours @MyPeopleAreNordic!!!!!
