1. And what about Magnitude? Pop! Pop! I spent the first 55 minutes thinking they were going with a 'Teaching Mrs. Tingle' plot and we'd see Viola in the rug. I was all ready to say I told you so, so I was happy they didn't go in what I thought was the obvious direction. But now I think that still would have been more interesting than the cheating husband. I think Viola's walk stands out because Kerry W glides so effortlessly on Scandal. But yeah, V is a bit lumbery.
2. Anyone with doubts about VV should check out the movie Clay Pigeons. He can definitely act, he just sometimes chooses not too.
3. Damn! I hated the way the season ended and was all ready to ban td from my viewing schedule, but I may be forced to check this out. It's like they went into my brain and picked the two actors I'd like to see take on meatier roles. Maybe I'll just watch the pretty (and the acting of course) and ignore the story so I can never be disappointed.

I like your choices for the girls, I hope it's someone who is known for being polished and made up so we can see a grittier side to them. Rachel McAdams, maybe?
4. The most disturbing part of this episode was when Sookie drove up in her dead boyfriends car to try and save her ex/new boyfriend, aka the reformed jerk who started all this and now won't even get himself cured. Sorry, I have Bill issues. There seems to be only one more mystery to solve this season: who's going to pay for fixing that poor family's lawn? Maybe James can landscape at super speed!
5. I feel there's something going on with Bill's name dropping of all the old Bon Temps families. Or maybe they just really want us to remember that Bill's been around a long time. Or maybe they don't have much story left so they keep adding backstory to people. I've never had a problem with them before, it's just that they seem so unnecessary, and don't really mesh with what we previously learned about the characters.
6. Yeah, I suppose it could fit in with the history, but when Tara first found Rev and Lettie Mae together (season 3, maybe) she lectured her mom about him being married and it sounded like his wife was a part of the community. But tonight he made it sound like his wife had left him and he came to Bon Temps by himself. So, I don't know. I kind of felt like the writers don't have any story left and are just relying on flashbacks at this point. Compton family photo time, really? Although it did make me laugh because it reminded me of the new Seth MacFarlane movie gag about no one smiling in old-timey photographs.
7. I've been watching past seasons and I agree they changed the Revs story, unless I misheard from the previous season. Do the writers not even watch the show? Poor Alcide. But it's probably for the best; of all the sups he wasn't the most useful. And he is finally rid of Sookie! I was actually more shocked and upset at Maxine's death. She was a bitch, but I always liked her.
