I love she is being dragged on twitter for this mess now

LOL! This reminds me of my "friend" who said he had a graduate degree. Come to find out, he DID NOT have a graduate degree. When I asked him about it, he had a LOT of reasons for why he said he had a graduate degree (none of which were because he had one). He said that his brother has a graduate degree, and he is smarter than his brother and they do they same type of work, so he is valid saying he has a graduate degree. He then said that the school he went to was harder than other schools where you get a graduate degree, so he basically had one because his school was hard. He also said that because of lot of people that do the same job he does have graduate degrees, that makes him pretty much having one. I see this logic in AM. She works with and does the same type of work as doctors, so she is basically a doctor.

I think though everyone should just agree that AM is a doctor so this will die. Once people accept or admit to something (AM will NEVER admit she is not a doctor), people stop talking about it. Poor bulimic Crystal can't get anyone to care about her ED since she talks about it so much. BUt if she trie dto hide it, everyone would talk about it.

The person that most clearly started Sutton and the eating disorder thing was Kyle, with bashing her/calling her out on pushing her food around on her plate, and then AM took it over from there.

I think AM is the only one with a "real" job,  from what I can tell. I don't know what the heck the others do besides invest in stuff here and there. Garcelle-- she must be living off the show and child support? How does she afford her lifestyle?

As a white person of a social age (47) I can understand using words that may have a racist connotation, but 'attack' and 'yelling' are not words that have anything to do with race.

According to Garcelle's rules in her head, it's okay for a white person to tell a black woman she is yelling (as Garcelle says, they ALL yell). BUT it's completely unacceptable for a white woman to tell a black woman she is "attacking" her. That warrants being branded a Karen, ridiculed, and harassed because it is "triggering."

I loved when AM scolded Gacelle for not defending her when Sutton said she was yelling. Last random comment, I was really on edge when Dorit asked Garcelle, "Garcelle, do you like me?" I was like, "Oh, wow, where is this going? Where is Dorit going to take this." Garcelle said, "sometimes." Dorit then calmly and in her extra pronounced way, sounding poignant, "Do you want to be friends with me?" I'm literally all ears now, Dorit is going to make a really great point. What will it be?

Um, well, no point. Garcelle answers her questions, Dorit sits back and stares with nothing else, and then Andy changes the subject.

I should have known to not expect anything from Dorit here.

I’m surprised Annemarie was seated at the reunion. Yes she was a full cast member but she came off as a friend of. We saw a little bit of her home life but not much. Her scenes were mostly about esophagus shaming Sutton and arguing about her job title.

You are lucky. The word choice shaming is all about making people feel bad for using words that have been okay for years but now someone is triggered and gets to call someone privileged  We know damn well Garcelle herself leads a privileged life buying birkins and what not. I can definitely see why she was so upset about Jax being threatened online but the kid obviously was fine filming this season and criticizing his own mother. Crystal also needs to take a seat. I’m sure she’s been a victim but now she’s married to the Lion King dude and gets to buy rare birkins and lecture people for being problematic. I’m not fooled by her on camera persona, she’s an asshole.

I agree with you that Mauricio and Kyle were much worse laughing at Jax being told off by Erika. Garcelle should have dragged every one of those assholes especially Erika for cussing out her underage son for no reason at all in the first place. She chose Dorit because she’s an easier target.

Yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, and yes, and yes.

Showing my age here. I couldn't stop thinking about that nursery rhyme from way back in the day:  "There was a little girl who had a little curl right in the middle of her forehead and when she was good she was very good and when she was bad she was horrid."

I was reminded of those old school pictures of ladies in bathing suits with the swimming cap on, and pieces of hair styled on the front of the cap on the forehead.

Kyle's texts to Dorit were interesting. I wonder if she did/does something similar with Teddi, Faye, and Camille since they all seem pretty desperate to be liked and Kyle needs allies.

  5. IMO, both AM and Krystal lie and twist the truth. Krystal made it seem like AM said she was an anesthesiologist, but in her story tonight, she backtracked and said that AM said "most people don't know the difference between an anesthesiologist and nurse anesthetist." That's a LOT DIFFERENT than saying you are an anesthesiologist. And AM DEFINITELY strongly implied that Sutton's esophagus issue was from an eating disorder (not being small).

I don't like Garcelle. She comes off as not very bright many times, and her kids are right-- she is a hater. They show her in her interview saying many times that Dorit just triggers her with her white privilege. Sorry, but that sounds like GARCELLE'S problem. If I trigger someone, that's their problem, not mine. Garcelle is being a really big bully and Dorit is not very "woke" but I also kind of like that she isn't scared to stand up for herself. The others seem to stay quiet or let Garcelle do what she wants because she's black and they are worried about looking racist. IMO.

Teddy started the horrible two strands of hair thing awhile back in her first season when she was a mess, and I guess Kyle is trying to support her now by sporting the look herself. Even though I hate it, it looks way better on Kyle than Teddy.

I like Dorit. I thought Erika looked the best, with Kyle close second. Krystal, for being so quiet, is pretty yappy. I hope Garcelle and Krystal leave next season.

  6. Kyle said they broke up before the season began, but it's still not clear why they broke up. Kyle appeared over Maurico the entire season, and Mauricio seemed unaware they were split up but also perfectly happy without her.

Now that Kyle ditched Maurico it seems she is friendly with Kathy and her family. Nikki Hilton appeared on WWHL with Kyle (Maurico wasn't invited to her wedding I recall) and Kyle is back on the scene with Kathy as of late as well. It seems like Mauricio caused a rift in the family that is getting healed, which is good.

I think Kyle's daughters are very sweet and seem very smart and well adjusted.

Since they resumed filming to capture the People story reaction, it seems that ALL the conversations were reenactments with the wives telling their husbands about the story, Erika rushing to Kyle's house to comfort her, and the scene with the girls (they must have discussed it before the camera crew reconvened filming).

Who knows what was real and was was made up for the cameras, but one thing is pretty sure IMO-- things between Kyle and Maurico are going to get ugly.

  7. My thoughts on this episode. The White Party was cool and Kyle and her daughters looked stunning. Mau seemed happy, but the fact he didn't have anything to do with the planning-- he didn't even know basic things like where it was held out, shows how little time they were actually spending together.

I was surprised but not surprised the Steve ghosted Sutton or disappeared for a while. He seemed only there to get laid.

Sutton's daughter is so pretty and nice. I just loved her.

My take on the family scene at the end. I feel like Kyle and Maurico had to do it because the People story came out and they were filming. I think Bravo was like, "this is part of the sharing your life when you are on a realty show. This needs to be addressed. No hiding." So they did the scene because they literally had to. At the beginning, they were kind of chatting and joking with each other, like they were just chilling before the "work" scene. When they brought everyone together, they seemed to try to say as little as aboslutely possible, but the girls still caught on to what was happening, which I think surprised Kyle. Kyle with her, "daddy and I might stay together, but we might not, we will just see" like it was offhand comment. In any case, I'm sure Kyle is pissed that Bravo made them do that and I don't think she wanted to at all-- the People story sort of forced her. That's IMO.

Mother's Day in England is in March. But even though she's not PK's mother, as she reminded him, she's the mother of his children. Most men make sure their young kids get mommy a card, gift and awful breakfast-in-bed on Mother's Day.

I didn't watch the episode, I'll have to go back, but I recall PK is really pissed off at Dorit for complaining about the birthday event he planned for her. He said that it made him not want to ever do anything nice for her again. I think he meant that.

She wouldn't listen to him explain why he was hurt, and then somehow made it about PTSD. So they are at an impasse. Now it's about Dorit and her PTSD and PK not being caring, but I think the REAL issue is that PK wants an apology and Dorit won't apologize.

  9. The purses are so expensive, you want to keep track of it. Plus, all these ladies need quick access within fingers reach to their mirrors and make-up and phone-- drugs, LOL. Kidding on the last one. It's something to fiddle with, they can throw their food they don't eat in there, they can take swigs of their booze when rounding the corner in the shadows.

I'm making myself wonder why I don't always carry my purse!

Also, my mom ALWAYS has her purse within eyeshot. Even at the house. She's paranoid though and worried someone will go through it and maybe take her 5 dollars.

Mo has kind of been a jerk this season. I think they have moved on from one another and the scenes "reenacted" of sorts. I think Kyle being so emotional and all over the place with her mood, and just in general looking very depressed and sad, is due to a great deal with having to deal with the demise of her marriage and probably knowing MO was seeing someone else.  Their scenes just seem so forced and disingenuous. Mo doesn't act like he even cares about Kyle at all, and vice versa.

  10. I love the editors! They showed Sutton not once but TWICE pour her 1.99 "mixer" ocean spray grapefruit juice into her booze. I'm not a snob at all, but I'm not putting that stuff anywhere near my good vodka. That stuff would be a great mixer for Kobel!

I was surprised to see a cheap sparkling wine there, but Sutton's dig was just too perfectly ironic.

AM said that she had a bunch of other friends there-- maybe they were who was intended to drink (or maybe they brought) the Kobel. I hope it comes up at the reunion!

This episode confirmed that Erika and Garcelle are VERY interested in shiny expensive diamond rings. Me thinks they won't be will single for long-- as soon as they find a supplier! LOL. I see them dating for a hot second and then boom married.

  11. Oh, twist on theme this episode. "Letting go. New Chapter." Garcelle just now realizes her kids are growing up and she needs a life. Sutton realizes her ex husband (I was surprised that he lives down the street and they were close/there for each other) is actually her ex ex and is moving. She needs a life now.  And Kyle is letting go of Mo.

From my understanding, it's really a bad sign when someone who is sober because of a drinking problem starts drinking the fake stuff-- because they still have the psychological dependency on it. But I'm seeing Kyle as a huge mess this season-- she seems very unhappy and all over the place. She also looks tired and worn out a lot. Last-- because I feel like I'm picking on her, is I don't really believe the issues are with Mo. I do think they are having problems, but I feel the way they are playing it out on Bravo is an act. The "bar" scene was just that-- a heavily edited and produced scene-- Kyle's fake beer was full, then almost empty, then full, then half full again-- and the same shot of her taking a drink at least 3-times. I think the marital discourse storyline between her and Mo--  it's a compromise between the two-- Mo agreed to let Kyle control the narrative. It's not like this year Mo's business just picked up. He's been super busy the entire time this show was on and the girls were all little.

Kyle's friend died and Kyle had a celebration. Next episode, Sutton is celebrating her friend who died. Last episode Erika showed up hammered to an event and had a great time. This episode, SUTTON shows up at an event super hammered. I think the producers are lazy and just recycling the same storylines. It's like a sitcom where the writers run out of new things for the characters to go through. Not complaining though-- it's way better than when the trouble-makers were running the storylines.

Erika's therapist is a TV therapist, so I'm pretty sure she is on contract with Bravo or something similar to that. She had a reality TV show for years on VH1 and runs all the media circuits. I think her scenes with Erika are 100% produced by the writers on the show, BASED on real therapy that Erika is in/been in with her real therapist.

How does Erika afford a traveling glam squad?

I don't think it's nearly at the same level, and also, since all of them have a glam squad, I think that Bravo (for those who can't afford) puts their staff in a different part of the hotel, and on a commercial flight (clearly, cuz they all came separately and at once and are likely staying in more humble dwellings).

But really I added to say that Ericka doesn't look NEARLY as good as she did before. She made the comment years ago, "I have money. You think I'm going to look like a hag?" And now she sort of does look haggard. It's expensive keeping up on botox fillers, and all the treatments and I also wonder if her spending is being scrutinized with the whole legal stuff, and she has to be careful to look modest with her spending.

Exactly. Kyle had no idea who Nanny Kay was, but even Erika and viewers of the show knew it was Lisa Vanderpump's beloved grandmother. It's possible Sutton has in fact mentioned Merce many times, and Kyle just didn't bother to listen.

I noticed on several episodes this season, Kyle will be right next to someone and be on her phone or looking out the window totally nonengaged in what others are saying-- I found it really salient when people are talking about deep topics and she doesn't tune in. Not to be mean, but I don't think she really understands and she has a hard time following conversations. She does seem legit confused a lot. She also seems to be pretty insecure about her lack of education, so I do think she might have some learning or IQ issues there. Sorry. I feel bad saying that.

She is divorced since 2016. This seems performative to me. Also, her husband works for a multinational (but U.S. based) investment company, employees are transferred for some years only to another country, so he will most probably return to the U.S.

I feel like this is a theme this season. Sad and lonely. Loss. Dorit is sad and lonely, Garcelle said in her interview tonight that she is lonely (but that she is okay single -- said with a sad long face). Crystal is losing her incestuous relationship with her brother, Kyle has the most losses- sister, friend, husband...

Sutton visits Europe several times a year (at least). Why didn't she take the ashes on another trip, a more meaningful one than the one with the HWs?

I think it's just part of the theme and she fit it in. Kyle had an event that focused on her dead friend, so Sutton has to do the same. But really, before the season starts, production sits down with each of the ladies and they discuss storylines. I think in real life, production probably worked with Sutton to pull and weave the whole story together.

Sadness, loneliness, loss. They all are bringing their best. Except AM who was the last minute addition. I think they are just letting her figure it out.

  15. I wonder if the status of being married is really about the diamond ring. I can see all of these women being extremely jealous of someone's 10+ carat bling, especially if they don't have one to wear. Something about buying yourself a huge diamond is odd too. Landing a rich guy does come with a certain status and level of respect generally as well, and these ladies are all pretty old school.

I would agree that men don't have nearly as much to offer women in this day and age, but I can see many women chasing the ring as well.

  16. I think I was hallucinating at some points during this episode. I thought I heard Clayton's mom complaining about Anali, who is from Peru, cooking too much Peruvian food and speaking too much Spanish. Okay. That's what she knows how to make, and that's the language she knows how to speak. How on earth is she expected to know how to cook American food?  And apparently, Clayton's mom also can't cook American food, or she can, why doesn't she?

    Clayton's sister is super funny.

  17. I have always liked Kyle on this show. She’s pretty even keeled for the most part and to me is a stabilizing force on the show and has never been turned on or bullied like the others either. So she has a toughness because really no one talks shit about her which says a lot to me. Even Sutton kisses her ass. If I’m remembering, she has a few controversial scenes, like the “your such a liar, “ and “you’re an alcoholic!” and of course Lisa V turned on her and the witch hated her, but they were gone soon after. I think she is relatable in her simpleness and insecurity. She doesn’t try to be the smartest or funniest or most beautiful or fashionable in the room, she’s just trying to have fun and is usually pretty pulled together. I think Crystal does try a touch too much to show her intelligence and seems to be insecure about being on the show in general—her problem and makes her a little hard to warm up to, for me as a viewer. Erika has serious balls, and in a good way. She’s still in the game, still herself, and is fighting for what she feels she should have, and I must respect that.  Personally, I would have completely fallen apart and been incredibly ashamed—she just has this toughness that keeps her going and is very interesting and cool to see (although I do think she and Tom should both be forced to pay back all the money owed to the victims, but I’m not holding it against her hustle in the meantime). I sort of wonder if Tom was slipping cognitively and had been for quite some time, and that’s why he got so sloppy and made such majorly horrible decisions—it just doesn’t seem like something someone who has a reputation exactly for paying victims their money, and is known to perform at such a high level would do. There was no way he wasn’t going to get caught. I think he was sort of going in and out for quite some time. And given how scared everyone was of him—I remember Erika’s first scene with him, she was carefully showing him a tile in the backyard and asking for permission to have it replaced/fixed. Fast forward a few years and she has her own account with 10 million dollars deposited into it. Yeah, she definitely rode that party train till the last shot.

I like Sutton so much. So real and genuine with her smile and being goofy. Garcelle seems to be having a bit of an identity crisis—being nicer and less of a hater doesn’t mean she has to be a different person (she seems to be code switching a lot this season) and I think she’s trying to figure herself out and who she really is. IMO.

  18. I thought Erika told Krystal that she would appreciate the news specifically was because Krystal was "smart" and could understand the legalese. Note that no one understood what she was talking about-- another reason she didn't get the reaction she wanted. Plus, if they did understand that she actually APPEALED the decision to take the earrings as part of the estate, they would really have been emotionless.

It could also be because Krystal said that the key to long marriage is to buy your wife diamonds to keep and not to borrow. She tagged RHOBH so it was referencing something, but I always thought it was Dorit.

  19. The ladies point to Erika always was, "Who cares about the earrings. Let them go so the victims can be repaid." and Erika's point was always, "They don't have the legal right to take them." So they were always talking around and over each other. When Erika said that it's official, the earrings shouldn't have been taken (weren't they auctioned and sold and used to repay the victims long ago?) no one cared because they thought Erika should have been cool with selling them anyway.

In my opinion, every last asset that Tom and Erika had should have been taken to pay back the victims.

This show is so much better without Rinna! I'm actually enjoying it again. This is the first season that I've seen it with Krystal (I took a long break), and I'm hoping she will grow on me. I also think once AM relaxes a little bit she will be a good addition as well.

  20. I do think Krystal said that to AM because she thought AM was a anesthesiologist (and gave her some IQ credit), and she was probably also drinking. Also, this was in 2022 that Krystal met AM, so a year or so ago, not six years.

Is there anyone in this group that Kyle likes besides AM?

I love Sutton. She is funny and cute and she really doesn't care what other people think and she seems to have fun. She doesn't seem to make fun of other people (like AM and Kyle) and then call it a joke.

  21. AM seems to be pretty ADHD. She has a hard time focusing and she is very impulsive in what she says. Being high energy and quick is probably very helpful at the hospital, but in a chill social setting she always seems to bounce off the walls. I actually like her, and I feel for her since she seems to also lack social skills.

I don't know why anyone cares what Dorit says, no one likes her that much. It's not like they are good friends and she hurt them.

I don't really like Krystal's clothes. Her style of flowing skirts with a cut out and cupped shoulders looks weird to me.

I don't think Sutton paid for the trip just because I don't think she would ever pick that hotel/lodging area. She might have swung for the private jet though, since doesn't Bravo put people on commercial?  I do think Bravo paid for the glam squads to come as well and they all went commercial flight.

  22. Randomish thoughts.

I don't think Denise knew what she was mad about at the dinner party where she was high and wearing her jacket on upside down. I think she was maybe acting at first, and then got confused and forgot what was happening, and thought she was mad. She wasn't tracking anything. The whole thing was dumb, but it was "fun" to see Denise so messed up even though I wonder how healthy she is.

I don't think anyone is jealous, today of Denise. Except Lisa Rinna who is jealous of everyone.

Kyle needs to find something better to do than watch how much her friends and family eat, drink, and question if they did or didn't "imbibe" beforehand. She's so judgmental.

I don't understand Kim, Kyle and Kathy as sisters, but Kathy treats Kyle like Kyle treats Kim.

  23. I picked up on a lot of eagerness from Dorit this episode especially, trying to get Kyle's attention. I noticed when she entered the celebration of life event, she looked like she wanted to have a good hug and heartfelt exchange with Kyle, and Kyle simply said, "thanks for coming" and briefly hugged her and moved right away on. Dorit looked a little rejected and embarrassed. I don't think Kyle likes Dorit that much.

Dorit's eagerness to scissor with Kyle was at first surprising to me, but then I got it once I realize she's trying really hard to get Kyle to "like her." But unfortunate when Dorit said "that's how rumors start" referencing the sharing of the cantaloupe.
