Well, TBS is airing The Cube, which might mean a safe bet that we'll have to wait until Tuesday for the conclusion of the second ALDS to wrap up

I'm not sure. A better question would be how was the weather earlier in the day. TBF, the best response would be, "Carey can search for that information on the Internet."

Eagles win & cover. Well, I shoulda stayed offline LOL! I guess this mean Jerry's sorta happy. No heat anymore since Cooper is no longer undefeated!

Oh crap. I forgot to post my picks ATS (I'm honest! I had Dallas covering but Eagles winning!). But that missed FG should just about do it. Looks like the over hit, and I did have the UNDER

Two possession game for Philadelphia. Sorta don't understand the need to go for 2 with all that time left. PAT gets them to a 10 point lead
  7. I'm infuriated because I wasn't able to be here to post the fact that I took Tennessee and the points, which was more painful since I planned to do so a day in advance, but Friday (hours after I lost service). It's not a season of College Football until people storm the field on Alabama. Yeah it was idle in 2015-2016 & 2018, but what also sorta made me infuriated in general is that I knew it was going to happen, but before the season started and Tennessee looked dominant, I thought that Arkansas was going to be that team. For what it's worth, this upset like most of the other ones changes nothing for now (pending on what happens in the Pac 12 & Big 12). They still need to win out, which, save for Ole Miss & Georgia, isn't that difficult. Georgia might wreck Tennessee who could be blanked out if Georgia falls to Alabama again in the SEC Title Game. Really 2013 was the only year where a field-storm was meaningful. Every other year (2014, 2017, 2021) meant nothing. Auburn did storm the field in 2019, but that Iron Bowl meant nothing since LSU had permanent control of the West. I'll post the rankings later (or not). In brief, Tennessee and Alabama swapped, similar to what happened with Pittsburgh. Not that the Panthers are much of a threat, but beating the reigning ACC and SEC champions helped the Volunteers shoot up from near the bottom of the TOP 25 to the near the top

This might cost me due to "in the moment" BS, but in a rare super early prediction, I've committed to Buffalo's future. In other words, barring injury, AND remembering my picks, the Bills WILL be defeating Cincinnati AND Kansas City if they meet again in January. Not that rare in terms of early picking of games, but very rare months in advance

I don't have a problem with Tony. Despite getting paid a ton of money to do nothing but call Sunday football games, he's alright. However, I might have to take that with a grain of salt. That's really because people can't pick games that they are calling. Though I believe it was the score and not an actual team

24-20 Buffalo. Kansas City over 1 minute with 2 TOs. That 3rd TO may loom large ETA: INT outta nowhere! ETA2: Huge win for Buffalo. A la 2006 Colts, a must win to get to the end game!

Looks like football will do that to him. Yankees / Guardians should bring in a crowd, but that's meaningless opposite Philly/Dallas

Romo (and Nantz) was vintage here. 13 seconds again (really 12)! They mentioned this was no big deal, and then KC ties it before getting the back to start the next period. Following what shoulda been the final TD by Buffalo. Hope that doesn't affect the Bills

I'm not sure how long I'll be online. The network at my place went down and out; has been over the past 50 hours, but I still would not have been available for the opening slate of games. On a related note, I was unable to post my stuff in time, couldn't even do so had I done it early on Friday night or Saturday. I'm at peace with it since my predictions were awful so far in Week Six. To be brief, I was wrong with Steelers/Bucs. I was wrong with Ravens/Giants. I was wrong with Jaguars/Colts. I got Vikings/Dolphins right! I was wrong with Packers/Jets though I did pick the Jets to at least cover. I'll post what I would've posted later. The Giants are for real, maybe not great but better than I expected in August. Baltimore was a better pick for me but not that clear cut. Indianapolis & Jacksonville was a toss, thought about it, went with one, and didn't pick the right one. It is what it is. Green Bay losing was a surprise but not a shocker since, despite a home game, they were in London just last week. The Giants were too, but they were at Metlife today. I did not see Tampa & Pittsburgh playing out the way they did. I might have posted 77-0 Bucs had I been here earlier. Realistically 41-9 or 34-6 would have been great but winning outright is huge! In the moment, I can understand optimism but the Steelers still have a long way to go. I think they're definitely losing in 2 weeks, but SNF, which was not flexed out, features a Steelers road game at Miami. Could be a victim of a team superhot, the real kings of the league, turning into the opposite. That could go either way, though I'm leaning Dolphins. The good news is that post bye, the schedule softens, and more important, the AFC North isn't that elite. So 8-9 wins can win it. As mentioned, today is the first game in the season with a WR catching a TD AND the first game ever where the Black & Gold win without TJ Watt

Well, the Bills are driving again, but man, you'd think it'll be 7-7 or more. As Romo said, this might not be a high-scoring game. However, there is another half

Bills cover, Chiefs win, under hits. That is all Correction: Chiefs win by 1 or 2, so they'd win outright, but if Kansas City had been favored by 2.5, I'd think Buffalo could cover it

Tough news there, Shoregirl. Very sad. Well, one ALDS ends the way the other one sorta ended. Cleveland with a very fast start without scoring, but the lack of abundant scoring continued.

Man, that is sad. There are teams that average 40 a season. Actually, they don't, but 40+ in a half (close to it or just after 60 minutes) is what people want to see. So much for pivoting to an offensive era. I do like a defensive battle meaning low scores are okay. I didn't watch as mentioned, so I missed nothing. However, it didn't sound like a defensive battle between Washington & Chicago (or Denver & Indianapolis the preceding week)....just a couple sloppy teams that can't even use the excuse of playing on a short week
  20. It's Thursday Night in the season of autumn. And with that comes NFL football. Sorta wrecked the glory that was College Football Thursday. It may or may not be to the point where I forgot about weekday college football. Well, part of that is also due to some awesome MLB. Speaking of which, I was not happy that there's a game being postponed given that I was going to be skipping TNF for the ALDS. Of course, there's hockey tonight, sorta meaningful to yours truly. In addition to that? Baylor at West Virginia! I believe Baylor is favored by 3.0 or 3.5. I'm going to go with WVU; they'll win outright. The Mountaineers aren't any good so even with the Bears help that over is not hitting. I can't see 55 from both combined. Baylor sucks so if a decent team can't win in Morgantown, this team ain't getting it done either

100 percent xaxat. Now, if there aren't, and the reason is they may be moving to auto stuff, then that I could see. However, it's 2022, and there are still human dude umps. So why not? BTW, you'd think Major League Baseball would be the first to be more diverse

They're not going to wait until next season to discipline Adams. This isn't a situation where something happened off the field and the NFL is waiting until all the evidence has been gathered. It happened on the football field. It was filmed. And that's why I questioned how he hasn't been suspended yet. Given that footage of it is available to everybody, there shouldn't be anything to "investigate". If you want to say that the league "cannot" do anything until after the legal proceeding are complete, then that's fine. Las Vegas has a bye, so I guess there's no rush, but nothing's stopping anyone from putting Davante on the Commissioner's Exempt List. Unless that's only for people that whoop on their significant others and/or kids. If so, then I guess they have to wait until December

As mentioned earlier, they'll be back onto their normal schedule next year. Though if they settle with a day off before the wild card series and a day off after the wild card series, this might repeat itself. What was so stupid was playing one game, and then a day off despite playing the same stadium. If they'd just play on Wednesday like normal human being, then tomorrow would be Game 3 in Cleveland with no time off and no routine changes. Who cares about back-to-back quad headers

I heard about this. I hate it. It's the National Football League. I don't mind a separate European League separate from the NFL US. Maybe even one in Asia, Mexico, etc
