  1. Oh, OK, thanks although she looks nothing like the girl in the picture. Both those kids in the picture look like they are of Latino descent. That secretary at the movie set did look like that to me and she looked like she had light brown, maybe even dirty blonde hair, no? Did we ever get to see the photographer brother?
  2. Did Velcoro said that the woman in the picture was someone they met at the catalyst offices, she was the secretary? I don't remember them going to anyone's office but doctor Pittler.
  3. OMG, I am so upset that Paul is gone. Is it way beyond belief that he could still be alive? I loved him, sweet guy, honorable soldier, would have been a great father. It's a shame he had to suffer being ashamed of his sexual orientation, a damn shame. Ani and Velcoro hook up, I've been waiting though there wasn't much skin. They might as well, I think it's a good match seeing as they seem to be working toward peace within those inner demons that they both have. For the first time, Frank had my on the edge of my seat rooting for him. Damn the series is over and...well better late than never since I do love VV and was always rooting for him in the role. I wanted all the characters that I think have some hint of integrity to get the hell out and live happily ever along with their loved ones. Loved Ani and the scene with her dad. Damn, she was raped for four days....
  4. This is why in one of my previous posts I was questioning where her sister was on this commune. I was saying that the actress playing the sister seems to be playing her as having not as bad of an experience living on this commune. Could be just differences in personality but she just doesn't seem bitter. Even when she says to Ani on the beach that for someone who pretty much hated where they grew up, she never really got that far, she says it like she doesn't have those same feelings IMO, almost like she did not live on the commune. It just confuses me, but I never thought those four children whose lives were screwed up on that commune were Ani and Athena's siblings. Which confused me because I was like where was Athena then? Maybe she didn't live on the commune. When did the mother die? Did she leave the commune with Ahtena and Ani when Ahtena was a baby? Then kill herself? She did kill herself right? This show needs more episodes or something because I want answers that I'm not getting and don't think I will. Finding out who killed Caspere at this point is not one of the top questions either. I'm a character driven viewer. I get into the characters and their backgrounds and what motivates them etc. .
  5. Exactly, it just answers her sister's question when she said to Ani that she doesn't understand why Ani works so hard to be alone. The answer is clear to me, but not to her sister because I don't think the she nor the father knows what happened to her on that commune.
  6. That's kinda of how I saw it too, LOL. It almost looked like he was questioning any real connection he had with him. It's sad though, I think Ray with the social worker there also realized that his kid just wasn't enjoying the visit. He just doesn't seem happy when he's around Ray, so he let him go.
  7. Thank you, no way did that rapist father Chad. I'm sorry, I know you can look like different people on both your father and mother's side of the family, but come on. No way did Chad come from that mother and that rapist who was behind bars. Ani killed a guy, but she's the only official police officer, so she shouldn't be getting into legal trouble over that. That was self-defense wasn't it? And to say she should not have been there, well, she's a cop, a cop can always walk into danger to save lives if they are suspicious. But they should call for back up before they do. She was suspicious of a crime, she looked into it, she's only guilty of not having a warrant and not having official back up from fellow officers since Ray and Paul aren't on the force anymore. At any rate that lady from the state is heading up this show and she's official. But what do I know.
  8. Well, finally Ani got to use the knives, such precision even while drugged. Girl's got skills and finally it has clearly been confirmed that she was molested by some dude on that commune. I knew this sex party would trigger what happened to her because in last week's promo I saw the little kid's hand taking the adult hand and I thought it might be childhood memory of hers. Toni Chesani was in that room too and even though she had a wig on he might have remembered her from when she went to the Mayor's mansion.
  9. You know what confuses me, the way Ani and her sister grew up. The sister plays it almost as if she did not experience the commune in the same way that Ani did. I guess I could chalk it up to her being younger. She definitely wasn't that young though because she does have memories of the mother, she said as much. It just seems like Ani's spirit was a lot more damaged than Athena's from growing up there. Or, Athena, who clearly seems to have a differently personality may just be a little more optimistic. In the earlier episodes where Ani tells that doctor who got the best ass-woopin from Velcoro, that two kids committed suicide, and two ended up in jail, I never though she meant her siblings. I always thought those other kids could have been children of some of the other adults living in the commune. All she said to him was that it was a fucked up place and then he makes some weird comment to the contrary and she says there were five kids that grew up there, and basically she was the only one who "survived" it in "tact" being that she's a detective. It just confuses me, like did the sister even grow up there? She's not in jail, she didn't commit suicide like so where was she?
  10. Best scene of the night was the sexual harassment meeting, I watched that scene a couple of times because I just couldn't stop laughing. I love McAdams in this role, she's doing a great job. The men were like no let her share, it is a safe place LOL. She just does not give a fuck and it's good tv. And now she's like chain smoking real cigarettes, hitting the bottle heavy with her hands shaking and shit...jeesh.
  11. That little girl Chloe has got Todd wrapped around her little fingers. Todd with his, "she don't do stuff like that..." When she walked into that bedroom at the end with her face "made up" carrying Savanna's shoe, I busted out laughing. They are going to have to start checking her though. She really should be treating her aunt and uncle with a bit more respect, but children are smart she knows they aren't thought of as "adults" around that house. She thinks they are her equals because they get in trouble with Todd and Julie, just like she does so....
  12. Yeah, Kelly Riley also had her on drama on ABC where she was a doctor, and she suffered from mental illness. I think it was on about two seasons ago but did not get renewed for another season. I never watched it, because she just does not have the screen presence and I could not take how she dragged her words, speaking like she's always exasperated or something.
  13. I love this season because of the actors. The promo clips leading up to this season, I knew I would be tuning in, because I just like VV and McAdams. When I saw her in the promos I was like, oh, this is different, I've never seen her in a role like this. Last season, I would flip the channel back and forth while trying to watch. I really like WH so I tuned in on and off, but I did not find the writing nor the acting especially by MM to be so great, please. When you're it in HW, your it, that's all there is to it and MM has been "It". He's simply not that great IMO, he's not horrible or anything, but, no, there's no great acting skills going on there IMO. Meanwhile there have been more times that I've stopped to take a longer notice at what CF, RM and VV were doing on screen that MM. I guess it also comes down to preference. So, I am a viewer who is watching and making no specific comparisons between the two seasons because season one never really grabbed me. It was not must see tv for me while this season is, go figure.
  14. As much as the Cassadines fuck around with science, is anyone going to have Jake's blood tested, or something along those lines to try and prove that it's really him? I mean just because he's the right age and looks like him shouldn't mean much...I mean this is Helena were talking about here. Shouldn't they be taking him to the hospital to be checked out just cause? Ugh, I can't with Elizabeth and Valerie, can't. I just wish Jake wasn't her son because of the shit she's pulling right now. I don't find it strange that Jake would be freaky little kid. He's been on that island with I assume no interaction with normal humans, nor kids his age. Lord know what evil shit they told him about his parents his mother especially, which unfortunately Liz is probably living up to because of her recent scam. He should truly be a weird kid as freaky as it is to watch.
  15. McAdams/Ani has the best running/chase scenes, or she just looks the best doing them. The scenes with Velcoro and his son and Ani and her sister were good. Velcoro saying that he couldn't handle anymore lives to Ani's father was hilarious. That shootout was the best, had me on the edge of my seat and it totally made scene given his military history Paul would be that composed standing in the midst of all that carnage. The mayor is just a straight up thug. Just one question, what was in that class square that Velcoro gave to his son? What is that?
  16. Oh, why is Jake alive? Just why? Elizabeth continues to bug, and Jake is a Quartermaine, that wasn't said enough. Now Liz is going to keep Jason away from two of his children, nice.
  17. Yep, I've been thinking the same thing. Luke's last scene should be with his baby sister period. I know all about Luke and Laura and what they did for the show, I've been watching this show since the 70's. But Luke/Bobbie and Ruby were the base of the Spencer family so yes, where the hell is Bobbie? Valerie, I can't, good lord she's pathetic. I will never understand, well I guess I can if a woman's brain is in her vagina. But if a woman truly has the capability to be introspective she should ask herself WTF is so attractive about a man who cheats on his wife? Really? How is that charming or attractive in any way? How is this man your hero? Do you really think that you are so much more special than his wife that he won't be cheating on you eventually? Oh well, I guess that doesn't matter to women who find themselves in this situation. Let's not even mention how he's screwing up his kid(s) lives. Valerie is so full of shit, from the time she knew she was attracted to him her so called "friendship" should have ended. They kiss, then she shows up at the apartment the next day, please. At least stop having the actress play it like she's really nice and sweet underneath it all. Let her act like her cousin Carly acted, where we the audience new she was out for vengeance and destruction. Gosh, I still love Carly, good times, good times back then. And Dante, you clearly are a chip off the old block, pathetic.
  18. OMG, Todd is just hilarious and the kids/Julie have their funny lines as well. This last episode and the Boot Camp one from previous week...the sex education talk, I have replayed that multiple times. Those little diagrams of the male and female anatomy, the private parts are darkened out, the "outraged" over Savanna's use of the correct terminology which was replaced with the word "Lily". The warning of if you see bumps on it run like hell and finally Todd taking a bite out the banana prop he was going to use to show Chase how to put on a condom with. Good lord, this show is just comedy gold. I could not stop laughing. Now this week with Savanna's "Teddy Tattoo" boyfriend and Todd being pissed off enough to eat "fried ....." Hey I truly can't blame him for doing a background check, I'm sorry, in this day and age.....hell no. And that crack about the background check taking longer in PA cause of the "freaky shit" that goes on their was hilarious.
  19. But I thought I saw those two guys there when they found "Stan's" body. When Frank told them to pack him up I thought two of the guys were the ones who did the pepper spray hit, it looked like them. I don't think Stan does hits which is probably why Frank said something to the effect of who would want to hurt Stan of all people. I don't think Stan is his muscle. Oh, ok, he was barely on screen.
  20. So, I'm thinking this is the one characteristic that must appear in every season of TD, one character that even with captions you still wouldn't know WTF they were talking about. It's what the best SNL skits are made of, comedy gold, IMO.
  21. This is my view as well. I am no MM fan either way, although he looks damn fine in those car commercials, LOL. But that didn't keep me from asking WTF was he saying in just about every seen in last seasons TD. I definitely was able to focus a lot better when WH's character was on screen than when MM's character was on. I was like what in the hell is he's talking about, it just took me out of the scene. That's what's happening a lot with VV's character this season and I like him a hell of a lot more than MM.
  22. I co-sign on this. Although I am a VV fan as well and don't think he's awful, but the other two stand out a lot more when they are on screen. I knew I would like McAdams in this if she pulled it off because I've only seen her in the damsel/girl next door roles. I knew that it would be entertaining to see her play the complete opposite since I've never seen her do so.
  23. I think Stan was the guy who was sitting in the back of the car when VV's character was asking am I diminished or something to that effect. When he was admitting that he had absolutely nothing left and that he mortgaged his house twice and whatnot. Stan is the one guy around him that does not seem to be his muscle, he seemed like he was his lawyer of financial advisor. He always seem to have the portfolio or paper work in his hands. Yeah, I didn't see that guy in this episode at all alive anyway, the dead guy looked like him.
  24. I This is how I see it and I love the diverse casting, love it. I love the family in Pakistan, it's just pure fun, which clearly it's not in reality. But I don't watch this nor VEEP for all that much reality, I just watch it to see these idiots running or not running the government. Which now that I think about it, that's the reality, there are a bunch of idiots on all sides running our actual government and I personally laugh quite a bit at the stuff that goes on to keep from crying.
