  1. The actress confirmed her death herself in an interview where she pretty much explained the thought process behind the choice.
  2. They don't actually (for the most part) and Madeleine would be yet another actor who's checked out of this series and wanted to get out.
  3. Exactly, they've lost all of the Graysons and Emily's revenge is done. It just needs to end because this series has already exhausted itself a long time ago and they really have nothing good left to offer. Most people either dropped it a long time ago or want it to end.
  4. And the worst part is we're stuck with the Dumbass Duo, well I guess you can add Ben in and make it a trio.
  5. I hope it's the former and not the latter, because there's really nothing else to start fresh to. They might as well make a new show or since they already have a similar sounding premise with Kingmakers, a new show in development, they could just go and do that instead. Not much of an accomplishment there. :P.
  6. Just terrible characters who turn into villains for the most ridiculous reasons if that. This is why I don't want anymore reboots/new characters taking over because we end up with this nonsense.
  7. Well, they pretty much got rid of anything interesting in this series and left us with the new characters. They turned every new character left into a random villain.
  8. Unforunately, they do that with most of their shows, even if the choice is obvious.
  9. Ask the writers, even they don't seem to know what to do with her or the other new characters, just randomly turn them into villains.
  10. Seriously, they're all terrible and not in a good villain way. All have terrible excuses for motivations, they turn evil whenever the writers need them to, there's no sense of consistency whatsoever so we have Margeaux and Louise in the pointless villain brigade because they literally have nothing important to do. They're useless characters that have been dragged into this mess for no reason at all. As for Victoria, it just doesn't work, this show threw out the revenge at the end of S3 and now to contrive this at the last minute is laughably bad.
  11. Exactly, it's just sad what Nolan has devolved to over the series. This was a hybrid show, the extra one that was ordered and slotted in because they probably already have a set end for the finale episode but yes, this show should definitely end with the way things are heading.
  12. Got to rehash yet another Nolan LI turning against him. Really, it's like a villain on off switch at this point, the motivations is so poorly done, it's more of a parody of a villain than an actual threat at this point. This is why I don't want new characters or anything to try and prolong this series because the new characters they already have are terrible. I hope so, with each episode comes more reasons to end this show this season, it feels like wrap up that's dragging on and on.
  13. You're right, it doesn't help that the writers already got rid of previous interchangeable members, so why are we supposed to care about this guy or about any of this Royals stuff that's been almost completely disconnected from the main characters?
  14. Exactly, and unfortunately it's like a cancer to this series, still lingering around for seasons, it's gotten worse. I just don't care about Juliette's problems or her blaming everyone else for something she willingly went along with to begin with (and she also chose to be with Nick after finding out about the Grimm/wesen stuff) or that's she's on another go around with Renard who has his own problems.
  15. I hope it is, it's a great finale title to end the series on and to bring this series full circle from the opening quote in the pilot.
  16. It sounds similar with some details changed. Emily gets out of prison instead of juvie and then gets revenge like she has been throughout the entire series. As for David Clarke, he was a waste of time that never should've come back, let alone be used to drag this series out any further.
  17. Then it's just going around in a circle again, David Clarke becomes even more pointless and we're back to square one.
  18. Well then they already have a new show for the writers then.
  19. It's not just the new characters that's the problem, it's that the main story/main characters are wrapping up, this feels far more conclusive than it did last season and I was already anxious about the David Clarke thing back then. I originally thought they were trying to shift the focus on to the new characters because they were getting so much focus and then they hyped up Malcolm Black who I assumed was going to take over the Graysons since they got rid of Conrad and Daniel and Charlotte went away in a messy exit so that left Victoria, etc. This back half instead wrapped up many of the storylines with David Clarke, ending Malcolm Black quickly, and then the last episode with Emily going back to Amanda and then publicly announcing her secret, etc.
  20. The problem is that the series itself is already trying to move on to new characters like Margeaux, Louise, and Ben, it's just not working out at all and then on the other hand you have the writers wrapping some things up like Emily turning back to Amanda, exposing her secret in public, David has already been cleared, etc. So the writers have basically cornered themselves even more than they did last season.
  21. Idk, the last few episodes have felt like wrap up with Emily becoming Amanda again and exposing her identity to the public. I just don't want another David Clarke drag out again, it's like deja vu all over again and they end up dragging things out. I hope not, you might as well make a new show altogether with the new characters because it's way too late to try and turn this into an anthology. The last thing this series needs is more seasons, when they've been struggling for the past few seasons trying to keep this show going.
  22. That's what made the series limited to begin with. The series spent seasons on Emily's revenge, they chose to make it a serialized drama focused on her revenge. To try and make it an anthology this late in the game isn't a very good idea. That's why I propose a new show where they could start fresh since it would be with new characters anyway and much of the series already feels like it's been wrapped up anyway.
  23. He at least admitted his mistakes which is more than what I can say about the other writers who were also responsible, but this is why I don't put too much stock into writers claiming they have a plan spanning seasons if they aren't there to see it through, otherwise, it's very obvious they're winging it.
  24. So basically they should do a new show altogether because that sounds like what you're suggesting seeing as how the original story is done. Or with your idea of Nolan, it would be a spinoff.
