Yep. I just want to give Ben a hug. He's numbed himself to so much, and I don't think Tayshia understood at all what that's like.

And 2 bathrooms for 8 people, which means 1 bathroom for the 6 kids. Maybe they can hook up the RV to the water so that's an extra bathroom.

Also that the more you sing, the louder you'll get. Man, Joe Lo Truglio is on fire this season. -
I really enjoyed listening to this podcast, even though it was a little disappointing that Andy Samberg and Andre Braugher (other than the interstitials) weren't involved. I also hope they can record a few episodes about Season 7 after the season ends. I can always use more Marc Evan Jackson in my ears.

I loved when they talked about how she tries to get the tears back in her eyes. It was so endearing.

Allison Jones. If you love a show, she probably cast it: https://www.imdb.com/name/nm0427456/?ref_=fn_al_nm_1

Have we heard his last name? Because I'm assuming it's Cabanaugh. -
Which was funny on its own, because SVU and Homicide exist in the same universe.

This had to have been the funniest episode of the season. I need a flowchart to keep up with who was betraying whom. Man, Cheddar cannot be trusted at all during the heists, can she? Jake's face when he thought that Amy was pregnant makes me really hope we get to see that for real in Season 7. Congratulations to Lieutenant Jeffords!

The G-Hive had helped save the precinct in "Last Ride," so she did have an online following as far back as Season 4. I can buy a certain level of local fame, but not as much as was shown. Then again, I don't follow any Instagram "influencers," unless Chrissy Teigen qualifies, so maybe becoming Internet famous isn't that hard. And nothing is ever hard for Gina.

The nice thing about this episode is it's easy to run through the A plot during rewatches. And that Gina didn't get to make fun of Amy at all.

When they were in Florida, Amy shot Jake in the knee to save him from the mob boss (Eric Robert's character, whose name I can't remember at the moment). Coral Palms Pt. 3 is the episode.

The Other Two - General Discussion

He froze to death on the roof of their house because he was told not to drink in front of Chase, so he drank on the roof and blacked out and was found the next morning. -
I love petty Amy so very, very much. To quote Rosa, "That's savage, and I love it."

I really like how recent episodes have had 2 plots--or in the case of The Crime Scene, just one. Although it may mean that a couple of characters (usually Scully and Hitchcock) will only have a few lines, it gives each plot more time to breathe. I love that the writers don't feel the need to shoehorn everyone into every episode, and that would be much harder if Gina were still there.

I cannot believe we got this news before March! Thank you so much NBC.
-
Thank you! We need to get to the bottom of this. But also, we know that Jake has canonically watched documentaries, usually nature ones. And Amy really loves her docs. So Jake really shouldn't question Holt about that, unless what he really meant was "no one watches really boring documentaries other than Holt and Kevin."

S06.E05: A Tale of Two Bandits

Three Drink Amy dancing in the background throughout the Shaw scenes was a perfect touch, as was Melissa Fumero's delivery of the line "I hurrrled. I hurrled. I hurrl." Also loved the meta, and I was so glad that Doug Judy wasn't lying to Jake after all! -
I didn't cry during the episode, but I enjoyed the scenes with Holt and Jake. The whole thing felt a bit rushed, actually. Maybe the cold open should have been a little shorter, and that would have allowed for more time for the scene with Amy and Rosa.

I'm hoping for "[Guest], what's coolcoolcoolcoolcool?"

My mnemonic is S is for "short hair" and Scully, while H is for "hairless" and Hitchcock. I know Hitchcock has hair, but not as much, but that works for me.

Thrilled about last night's ratings. Next week will give us a better gauge, since ABC's regular programming (with A Million Little Things airing after Grey's Anatomy) will be back. Hopefully NBC will keep up with the promos and not be like Fox, which hardly ever ran promos the last couple of seasons.

I loved the way Hitchcock and Scully were used in Season 5, and I'm hopeful/excited to see more of that in Season 6.

Finding Your Roots was so lovely. It's not a side of Andy Samberg we get to see much (though I was still laughing throughout).
