  1. I skipped over so much of this episode. I must have only watched about 10 minutes. Luke and his boring love interest, skip, Markus Keene being a tool, skip, Gunnar not understanding the concept of a short term hook up and being an idiot, skip, Will and his self pity, skip, Maddy being a brat, skip, Juliette and her endless misery, definitely skip. I had been looking forward to this episode for some reason but it just isn't fun to watch. I get that it's a drama but they can still have some hope in there. Why couldn't Avery asking for a divorce be the wake-up call Juliet needed to get help? Juliet has always had her issues but she used to be fun to watch and now I just can't stand to see what they have done to her.
  2. I was hoping Scarlet and Deakin would work through their grief by singing together. I love the two of them singing together.
  3. Though in three years time she'll still be pretty young to be a tv producer. Did she even finish college? Did she glamour her way into the job? That was one mystery that did interest me. Yeah, she's an overachieving go getter but a tv producer at 22? Really?
  4. I can't believe the people app. There was an episode of Community where they introduced a people rating app called meowmeowbeanz and everyone became divided by their ratings. I really can't believe someone thought that was a good idea. The peeble app is great though, love Mario Van Peebles.
  5. I read the article and this quote caught my eye, "The United States is leading global efforts to address the threat of climate change." Really? This seems like an exaggeration if not an out right lie.
  6. When they had the last update from the church and showed people sending actual seed I turned to my friend and said, "you know it's a matter of time before someone sends semen right?" Someone always has to take it too far which is a shame since they were raising a decent amount of money for doctors without borders.
  7. The actor playing Pablo is Brazil, I think I read, so while he did have to learn Spanish his native language is Portuguese which has enough similarities to Spanish to make an intensive language course easier. It is still an achievement to do so well acting in a foreign language.
  8. I thought season 4 was ok but like a lot of people I didn't like the storyline with Cullen's wife, Ruth and Ezra dying, the randomness of the Swede stealing a Mormon Bishops identity, newspaper woman's affair with the governor ect. I think quite a lot of season 4 didn't actually make that much sense.
  9. I thought Jamie looked like a lost member of one direction. The actor looked familiar to me too but I think it is just that he has that generic boy band look. The actor was good though.
  10. I wouldn't mind if they killed Cullen. Everyone he gets emotionally attached to dies, his first family, Lily Bell, Elam, Ruth and Ezra. If they kill him off the curse of Cullen is broken and lives will be saved.
  11. That dog was way too good for the Swede. I felt sorry for him having to watch his owner ride off and leave him but in the long run he'll be better off. I actually quite enjoyed parts of the episode. I still find the relationship between Cullen and Durant interesting. I was glad that the Swede's plan failed and I quite enjoyed the red-headed prostitute being shot. I thought that Eva had used her previous gambling winnings to buy a share in Mickey's brothel. Why then was he talking of firing her and having her go back to work as a prostitute? Things I didn't like about the episode included how easily Brigham Young recovered from multiple stab wounds to overpower his young son, the fact that the Swede is still not read and the reappearance of Mormon wife. The scenes from the second half of the season did not look promising. Cullen faces off with the Swede yet again in an attempt to save Mormon wife! I don't want the Swede to kill another of Cullen's women and win but if she were to die of an old timey disease that would be good.
  12. If the Salazars are going to be part of the main cast I can see the daughter as a Maggie type. She seemed sensible and kind from what little we saw of her. If we can avoid something like her falling for Nick and her father disapproving because he's a junkie or a similar storyline she could be a non irritating character.
  13. When I saw the young black guy in the barbershop my first thought was, here's a new black character for them to introduce and then zombiefy. I was glad when he left. They do seem to be killing off characters who have potential while keeping the most annoying ones. I was hoping we'd at least keep Matt.
  14. She had the principal's keys. Do they not have a spare set, in case of emergencies? I'm not American so don't really know how the whole school bus thing works but I would have thought it makes sense for the principal to have keys.
  15. When Madison was at the school and she glanced over and saw the school bus, did she even think of taking it? Steal the school bus, load it with all the food out the school, head home and pack instead of just waiting around. "We have plenty of food." Was an incredibly stupid thing to say when you're heading to the desert with six people. You never have enough food or water.
  16. Yeah, when Helena asked about the meeting I figured psycho drug dealers would just kill her so I skipped ahead a few minutes to avoid watching it and ended up with the gang rape scene instead.
  17. I really feel for her. As someone who grew up with two alcoholic, druggie brothers who made my childhood miserable I can see how she would become resentful and detached. To be honest, she seemed more caring towards her brother than I would have been. I feel bad for her that she won't get to escape and will be stuck with a junkie brother who will most likely leave her to be eaten by zombies if there's a chance he could score a fix. People have been saying he has good survival instincts and yeah he'll probably survive because he'll sacrifice everyone around him to do so.
  18. As long as the Swede dies in the end I don't really care about much else. Although it would be nice if the women don't die tragically, Durant ends up a broken shell of a man rotting in prison and the freedmen use their land purchase to build better lives for themselves. Actually it seems like I do care how it ends. I'm fairly sure the show will find a way to disappoint me however.
  19. I wasn't impressed e the pilot but I did love the scene where Nick was running from the church and had to stop to pull his baggy pants up. If the zombie apocalypse brings the baggy pants trend to an end then it's not all bad.
  20. I was really hoping there was a Community fan in New Zealand who had submitted the Community butt flag.
  21. Did any one else worry about the bunny getting boiled when Chet brought it out?
  22. Was it just me who thought Two looked confused when One apologized to him before stroking his face and sending him off to the planet. This being sci fi my thoughts went straight to shape shifting creature impersonating the crew but maybe One is just a bit dim.
  23. I may be a bit cynical but after Eugene's speech to an unconscious Tara about being a coward, when he walked out with her slung over his shoulder I thought he was planning to feed her to the walkers to clear his path to the van.
