Just give Casey Moss the Best Actor Emmy already. No one is touching him at this point. He's been nothing but fantastic since being frontburn. Days has become the This is Us of daytime since they stopped with the ridiculous doppelganger foolishness. You can do great soap without all the soap tropes and plot points. Just write to character and create realistic, meaningful stories that are relevant. The whole show has been wonderful.

Man, I'm kind of disappointed in Chad. I wanted him to rip Kate more to shreds. Take everything from her! His nephew is still in a coma hanging on. I wouldn't be trying to protect her for a second. Now he's keeping the secret from Abby that Theo's shooting only went down because of Kate and JJ is still suffering with his depression. Abe needs to chill! The investigation proved itself. He literally fired Hope because he was out for blood with JJ. I get his son is in a coma but he needs to bring it down a few. I was like Lani get your daddy, he's crazy, please! I thought the Ciara and Hope scenes were good, I wish they were longer. KA/VK have a natural chemistry as mother and daughter. Ciara is definitely a volcano ready to bust! All the situations she spoke about, with the exception of her breaking up with Theo, has been out of her control. I cracked up when Hope claimed Ciara couldn't be vindictive. Ahem! History lesson time! Remember when Ciara cut up Carly's clothes in a fit because her parents weren't together. Yet this seems like a trait that never goes away with Horton parents that their children are always blameless to a fault. As for Claire and Ciara scenes, Claire is the last one to be telling someone to grow up! Her attitude hasn't been a shining example wonderful especially how she treats Theo and plays fickle with between he/Tripp. Nevertheless both she and Ciara needs to grow up collective but I don't expect that to happen anytime soon! Rafe is a dumb. You would think him being an ex FBI agent he would know not to talk about intimate affairs out in the open. He's only keeping this secret because Sami told him too. Now she's not there and he's left to deal with his guilt and Ciara's warth. Oh well. Other than that, another good day. It's so good to watch a soap and don't feel the need to fast forward except when the commercials come on.

"No one likes to see Rafe miserable" straight from Sami's mouth. There it is. Days, your double standards never cease to amaze me! If EJ did this (which this is the same storyline that happened between Abby/EJ/Sami in many ways) the whole town would set fire on EJ! But nooo Rafe can slide his penis aunt/niece relationship and it's ok. The excuses Sami was speaking for and along with coaching Rafe made me want to vomit. I think the funniest thing that happened with all this was Sami being clearly scared of her Aunt Hope. As far as my memory goes, Hope and Sami have never had much problem ever. In fact, Sami usually treated Hope like a second mom when Marlena always chose Carrie side. When she said "She can't know she'll kill me and you" I instantly thought of Stefano and screamed laughing. But to see her shook that Hope could actually set her straight made me giggle. Plus, I know this is soap and an act of fiction, but you mean to tell me Hope couldn't smell the sex in the air especially when she was talking to Sami?! They share the same damn man and can't smell Snuffleupagus on Sami! The Kiriakis story is meh. They need to get Nicole back even for a short run to do something with this story. And please Days stop chem testing Brady and Eve. I personally don't want this! Bring back Scotty Banning and he with Eve rekindle, but no Brady, please! Belle, my, I normally don't like her. But I liked her messiness telling Will about him being a cheater. MM had me giggling because all she was missing was a neckroll when she was saying her lines to DH ? Paul and Will seeing each other, I'm intrigued. This episode was ok.

But Ciara was raped hello! The girl was in a dark and fucked up place. She felt dirty after what Chase did to her. It make sense why she pushed Theo away because she wasn't good enough and felt it was her fault after what Chase did to her. Screw Claire! She has proven that she is fickle. One minute she wants Theo then next, she's in his ass for helping her buy Twitter followers for hee lame ass music career. The girl is nasty and trying to pkay victim now since Ciara read her for filth for calling her out on it! For those saying, you don't like her being bad ass I personally love it. She's suppose be fiery and straight forward, that's always been in character since L. Boles played her. They lost it with terrible writing and awful recast under VJ's Ciara. I don't mind they have decided to toss out of a lot of the previous character development that Higley /Griffith/Milstein left off with. I'm sure we'll see as the weeks go on with her, that we'll see more of that side some want to see, but right now this was a good introduction to a character that should had been written this way over the last several seasons.

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH ♀?♀?♀? WELCOME BACK SASSY, STRAIGHT FORWARD, TAKE NO BULLSHIT CIARA ALICE BRADY!!! ♀?♀?♀? I haven't seen a teen that has made an instant impact this early since made Jennifer Finnigan over at Bold but omg VICTORIA KONEFAL IS FIRE!!! Yaaaaas. She can actually act and Ms. Anderson and Mr Quan got Ciara's character development down pat how she should had been from Little Ciara to this point in her life. I'm so happy she up and got Claire together straight out the gate!!! I been waiting for someone to get that little fickle broad together. Auntie Ciara is ripped her a new one: the letter, how Claire took Theo from Ciara, and how she's been far too nice dealing with Claire. I think Claire almost pissed herself. Tripp STFU get the popcorn and enjoy. Stay out of your semi-family business between these two. I know you want to pork your somewhat cousin Claire but she needs to be called out!! I also loved her scenes with Hope. Those are the scenes I remember from Little Ciara when Ciara use to be sassy, Hope had to parent. I'm glad Kristian and Victoria has instant chemistry as mother and daughter. This whole episode could had been about Ciara and I been ok with it. Rafe and Sami - YALL NASTY AF!!! Yall fucked and now yall give a damn about Hope's feelings. Rafe slid his sausage in Sami after a few hrs now want to care about Hope. All because Sami wants to stay Mrs Dimera. He had compete with ghost Bo's and now ghost EJ's. HAHAHA!!! Poor Snuffleupagus. I wish Hope found Dario and fucked his brains out like Rafe did with Sami after that bullshit he told Hope last week that he could easily move on. Please no you can't! Kate and Lucas scenes were very well performed. Lucas deserved his ripping. He's gone weeks without knowing about Theo. Dude is a hardcore drunk. That's awful. Get help Lucas.

I'm so happy Eli gathered Gabi all the way together. Didn't this chick shoot someone (granted Nick was trying to rape her) but she did time for that! She should know what injustice is especially as a Latina! Then she used the "He's not racist because he has a black girlfriend excuse." I never knew Gabi was this ignorant. Not liking her. Yet in terms of writing this is a very Agnes Nixon thing she would had done. Have politically correct and incorrect versions of a controversial social issue to challenge the audience. So thank you Ron for being a student of Nixon. Ugh! These two buffoons Rafe and Sami getting emotionally drunk. Bring on the guilt sex from the looks of it and Rafe's excuse for why he hopped in bed with Sami. This show's double standards never surprises. You can tell who's KC's pets. EJ got dragged for screwing lame Abigail when Sami wanted a break. Over/Under the odds of Rafe getting the same treatment when it comes to Hope and Sami?? ? The candlelight visual was fine. I'm over the show still trying to make Claire into Taylor Swift. Please give it up! Stop it! NuCiara pulling up on her motorcycle: YAAAAAAAASSS!!! I see you, Sherri, that was your influence. That will leave an impression. No holding out for a hero playing in the background but I'll take it. I can't wait til she utters her lines.

Rafe wanted Hope to be honest and tells her he don't do casual. Seriously. Based off his history he's done it quite a few times: Sami/Nicole, Sami/Carrie and Jordan/Kate. Rafe makes it seem he's some god's gift and any woman would be lucky to have him. Sure buddy! ? He's penetrated almost the whole town with his wood!!! It's true Rafe will never be Bo because there can only be one. Get some sensitivity training, find your own personality and try again next time! Sami meant well, but bitch almost killed her son again ? I thought Lucas was going to give Sami one of his vintage slaps for a second. I love how classic those scenes were in the living room and blaming Sami. Usually I get mad at the pile on of Sami but this time I get it. Sami was just a little too messy. ? Kate, bye! Andre should had told on you but at least he knows whenever you want to turn on him again. You two belong together though. Reckless and Ruthless! Sami/Rafe meeting up ? Yep kind of know where this is going. Overall thought the episodes didn't lose much of what yesterday had to offer. Great collection of episodes this week with tons of emotions.

THIS IS WAS INTENSE BUT SO DAMN GOOD!!!! OMG Chad blaming Andre and Abby for JJ shooting Theo. Kate standing froze faced letting this all play out with obvious guilt. Ooo this going to blow up in a big way and I'm here for it. Hope got those lines today!!!! OMG yes RC is giving Hope dialogue, a spine and brain. Hope literally hit all the bullet points I wanted to in her argument with Rafe on him not liking her being his boss, not refusing to take the job after she'd been fired as commissioner and chasing shadows with his "ex wife" (Which when she said it I yelled because it was low key snarky). It was so awesome! I was like this is how Hope should be written not some pathetic Harlequin novel that let's these men (Bo included) to continue to play her for a fool time and time again. It's 2017, glad Ron is giving her gravitas! The Will/Lucas scenes were short lived but BD was ripping my heart out seeing and holding Will. ? But he wasn't letting the beer bottle go ? The Sami/Will/Ben scenes were ok. AS acting was a bit over the top but the reenactment scenes between CM and RSW were more scary than the original GW and RSW scenes. Overall nicely written episode! Good, good stuff! I still can't believe this is my show doing great things and being the best soap going.

JJ/Lani can you two stop ripping my heart out!!! ??? I'm not going to lie, I was no fan of this pairing when they got together last year, but they have been each other's ride-or-die the last several months and their chemistry has come along when it comes to romantically. Plus I've grown to liking Lani since the writing change. She's no longer some desperate, man stealing, jump the bed woman (leave this to the Kates of the show ?). I'm just torn about them. Damn you Abe!!! ? Abe giving Rafe the commissioner job. ? Don't tell me this wasn't a sexist because it was. Hope was working her investigation and yes JJ is her cousin, but she made a point: let the investigation run its course. But Abe is doing this out of spite because Hope is a Horton and being JJ's cousin she's in Abe's crosshairs. I get what pain he's going through as a father and holding power as mayor to "do the right thing" but he's doing all the moves based off emotions and not logic. Ugh just when I was getting to like Hope as commissioner, some sexist writing happens to her character again. This story, however, is bringing out my emotions as a minority and a woman so RC is writing some gripping stuff. Chad get somewhere and STFU. I never thought I'd get to a place I'm rooting for Andre against Chad. Chad has been ridding Andre's ass hard since Theo was shot. I can't wait for the eggyolks he will get once this is over! The Kate and Will scenes were nicely written. I still want Kate to go down for using Theo for her bs but it's scenes like that make me warm to her as a character.

I can't believe Days is actually going to doing an informal-entertainment on a topical issue: Black Lives Matter. I said well over a year ago here Days should do one but not with Dena still writing the show because she's hack and would had gotten to messy. I'm going to trust RC that he will bring the issue to light while giving us some powerful scenes and performances. This better everything considering the show films 5.5 months ahead of schedule. So I expect this to be FIRE ? ? ?. Don't f*ck it up!
