  1. Exactly! But his connection to A seems so far fetched that I HOPE they don't go there. Like if he's A what's his motive really? And how plausible would that be because he is a high school senior. If he's A's minion. Also, what are his motives? Being obsessed with Aria seems lame (and really old. and really really bad for her character. I can turn the other cheek on Ezra. But twice in a row? They better address that she has an issue at this point.
  2. I still don't get how Andrew can be connected to A without Mona. His sketchiness came full circle this week, but I'm just not convinced. Unless he has been obsessed with Spencer and the girls for a long time and never showed it. Then again, why start showing it now? I'm calling a red herring.
  3. Yeah at this point the only way A can explain his omnipresence, teleportation, and ninja powers is by not being human. I'd say it's God unleashing wrath over bitches and bullies (bitches get buried). I always have this parody storyline in my head where Vampire Bill Compton from True Blood turns out to be A and Aria falls in love with him and then they go on their own spinoff as the two most self absorbed characters in TV history!
  4. Boy does it sound crazy ridiculous when you say it out loud! Don't get me wrong, it's not your comment it's just a moment of enlightenment concerning such plot 'twists'
  5. I enjoy Klaus' rants a lot, even though they are never ending and obviously no one else around him enjoys them, but I find them to be very much in character. Of course he'll be the one suspecting Freya's intentions, and yelling at everyone. I think he was also a bit jealous too. They have similar back stories. I loved his interaction with Freya, the crazy eye staring contest cracked me up too. Jackson and Haley are cute. I find their chemistry a lot more plausible than Haley and Elijah. Aiden is awesome. I like that he's not just there to be Josh's love interest. He's nicely integrated in the main plot as well. Did Cami and Not Finn have a moment? seriously? Have the writers completely given up on her? Is Davina dead?
  6. I don't get what y'all are complaining about. This episode was awesome! Ian did a great job directing this one. Sure, the way the whole humanity switch story played out was pretty predictable (even the 'cliffhanger' ending with Stefan shutting it off). I thought Caroline calmly commanding Stefan to Shut.It.Off was a cool throwback to Klaus hysterically yelling and compelling Stefan to TURN IT OFFFF in season 3. My favorite part was Elena and Damon not interacting at all. I like that Elena and Stefan are now in such a comfortable place. I like Caroline calling Elena on her bullshit, and mostly I like how the writers seem to realize how annoying Elena has become in the past 2 seasons, and seem to be stepping her back a bit. It seems like she and Damon are finally 'together together' so no more drama on that end. Enzo just bores me. Even the actor is annoyingly overdoing it all the time. The way he glares at everyone, and the way he drinks tea from a real china set is ridiculous. Is this how this place actually serves tea? Sarah Salvatore is cute, but she's only been used as a plot device so far so I hope she gets to be more than that soon. Bonnie is awesome. I liked her saying "I'm not the same person anymore, and I don't know if I like the new me or not". Her delivery was also spot on. She's still Bonnie but it's obvious that she won't be taking shit from anyone including her friends. Kai and Damon were fun enough. I laughed when Damon said that Kai is now "a rather evil butterfly". The Salvatore mom storyline seems to be moving along and I'm looking forward to see where it goes. Overall, it was a fun episode and it set the pieces for the bigger events that we'll be seeing from here. Stefan with no humanity is fun to watch. Edited to add that my biggest problem with the episode was Stefan being convinced that Caroline shut it off for him. And moreover, that the overall tone of their interactions insinuates that he might be right. Caroline is a lot smarter than that and the fact that it's even an option that she flipped the switch not because her mother dies, but because stephan did no say he likes her is just degrading.
  7. I think Lucy Hale has a great sense of humor. She was awesome in the little role she got on HIMYM as Robin's sister. But I have to disagree with you there about drama, as I loved her meltdown over Ezra dating Ali last season. Not the ski lift scene, obviously that was ridiculous and very Aria. But when she goes to school looking crazy to find Ezra, and then she goes to his apartment and starts tearing the place down. I thought her acting there was pretty awesome. But it was also brilliant from the writers' side, that she wouldn't be heartbroken in a totally crushed way, but in a rather awesome angry HOW THE F DID THAT BITCH GET THERE FIRST? I mean, dating her teacher was her Thing from day one. And to find out not only that Ezra has been spying on them since they met but that he dated Alison first... Too bad they brought them back together. I could live with Ezra working towards a redemption, I could even go with Aria sleeping with Ezra when she feels like it. But being in a legit relationship again so soon is the worst thing the writers did for her character. It just shows that she has absolutely no agency. I'm glad she's been upping her game the past few episodes, but I just really hate how it was Ezra who "Let Her Go". I don't know, Aria's character has always been my least favorite, but I still find it the trickiest, and maybe the most realistic.
  8. At this point, it seems to me like the story of A is somewhere between the Toby's mom suicide/Radley storyline mixed with the Hastings and the DiLaurentis families. There's a huge piece of the puzzle there and I don't think we'll be able to figure anything out without it. But one thing for sure, Big A exists because of a very dirty secret/matter/etc... between those families. If you think about it, A has only really gone apeshit after Mona went to Radley and 'lost the game'. And more even, with Ali's return in Season 4. During the first season, A was only sending text messages and disorienting the liars, a la Gossip Girl (a dark one but still). He really wasn't that dangerous, vicious, and murderous. The whole Ian thing was mostly the liars jumping to conclusions and believing them so hard. So, either A has been the same person all along, amping up his game and spiraling downward towards obsession/insanity; or, Mona started it, Shana went at it for a while, and then 'the game' fell into someone else's hands, someone really dangerous and with a lot of motive. Was it Mona during the first season? or did she join A in the second season? Did she originally start it when she helped Alison to fake her death and had that doll lair in the motel room? I've lost track of all these details
  9. I really liked this episode. I agree about Mona being alive. It gets more and more convincing with every episode. If she is, then I'm predicting Andrew is her minion. Which explains why he's been so annoyingly sketchy! Aside from Spencer and Mona, he is the only uber smart character, and I really doubt that they're revealing him as Big A or one of his minions. It just makes a lot more sense for Andrew to be linked to Mona rather than A. I expected Spencer to get the anagram right away. We've seen her do it so many times before! Also, I hope Jason stays. He's always going Out Of Town whenever things get heated and it would just be nice to see him stick around for once.
  10. Thanks! Sorry I just saw this while checking The Originals thread
  11. It would be awesome to have her back anyway. I really like how they handled her whole transition to human last season, it was the only good thing about season 5. If she's a traveler now it means that she's gonna have to inhabit someone's body right? When she "died" last season and jumped into Elena, she only still looked like herself because she jumped into her doppleganger. So I guess if they bring her back now it will have to be with a new actress. It could work, they really pulled off the New!Rebecca on The Originals.
  12. Am I the only one thinking that maybe Katherine was sucked into a magic universe as well? Kai did mention that there are several ones. Could this mean she could be back sometime in the future? I am so excited about this that I signed up just to share! (obviously a week late but I just saw the episode)
