  1. I think that was meant to be: who killed Garett? Melissa or Wilden.
  2. Has it been confirmed that she could see before the operation or just speculated? That was Shana. Everything in New York was her. She was trying to distract the girls so that she can finish Ezra off before he tells on her. She told a different story because she got an unsigned text (from Mona) that the truth will burry her in a New York minute (which meant that Mona knew about what went down in New York). According to Melissa, she was investigating if Ali is still alive, and sent the girls there to see if the liars were meeting with Ali that night. I think Jenna just wanted those videos, and I honestly don't get how you send a blind girl to go see about something, Shana was with Jenna but went rogue and started the fire. I don't know the fire is the biggest question mark for me. This is what makes me think that when she went and met with Mona in Brookheaven, she made a deal with her: Mona gives her immunity and puts her off the radar from whoever is trying to kill her, Ali makes her popular. There is no way that Mona would be driving around Rosewood at 2 am for no reason... She was there for Ali to help her escape. I have a feeling we're gonna find out about this soon, maybe that's why Ali and Mona haven't talked yet?
  3. He was paying her to get information for his "research" for his "book". That's what Ali said in A is for Answers (or the episode after I forgot). Cece gave him wrong info to protect Ali. According to Shana, she didn't know him. He posted an ad in the paper that he needed someone to move his stuff, she could use the money. She also said he wanted her to keep it low profile and quiet. This could be all wrong, especially that A and Ali have communicated through newspaper clippings TWICE (once with Mona, and the next time after Mrs. D was murdered. According to Melissa: Wilden. According to Shana, she did. Wilden and Melissa. Yes, that was Shana. She was Spider A on the roof and escaped on the ambulance that was carrying Ezra. She was the one Ezra wanted to warn the girls about before he got shot. Note that this flashback was only narrated by Cece and never confirmed by Ali, so it could be that she made this up. Melissa was begging Cece to get her the NAT videos back from Ali. Wait what? Kenneth doesn't know about the affair that brought Jason to life? How is it possible I thought it was common knowledge now? Why does he hate him so much then?
  4. Anyone else wants to see Ali telling her dad in the car "Dad you have to own it. These things have a way of catching up with you"? Wouldn't that be a delightful come back? Yes Walter, it would indeed (I see all of y'all fringe fans who liked my comment last week)
  5. I think thats exactly what it is. Remember when she was begging Spencer not to tell Jason about Charles because the he would hate her? She's been told she's a monster way too many times that she is really starting to believe it. I think she feels if she says one wrong word to anyone then the world will come crashing on her. It's no fun to watch but still an interesting place to be. I'd take whatever's going on with Ali over Sara baby talking and running away and being scared any day. My problem was that the last time we saw her, Ali spent an entire episode being slut shamed by her father, and last week we did not see her at all. Still, I'm still holding out hope that she'll have her sass back soon enough.
  6. ^ I understand this, but the plot now is such a mess that it's ridiculous that they still won't tell anyone and think they can get to the bottom of this on their own. This said, A isn't exactly closing in on them as he hasn't pulled any stunts since episode 3, they're practically closing in on themselves.
  7. They should notify the FBI at this point. I love how they're so used to A's craziness by now that they're all just like OF COURSE HE CHIPPED US. It's frustrating to see them not do anything about it but really what can they do? He'll always find a way to track them down.
  8. ^ But where it gets confusing is here: if Wren / Charles was visiting / sneaking in why would they say 2 patients escaped custody? In order to escape you have to be confined in a room at Radley. Unless it's all hearsay and Charles broke Bethany out as you said. Because why would you fake your death and stay in the mental institution where you're being held at? Something that parallels this is the night Mona breaks out of Radley for the ghost train. We see her painting a doll head and placing it underneath the sheets so no one would know she's gone, but we see two different doll heads under the sheets (one at the beginning and the other at the end of the episode). I don't know what to make of this except that Charles was still at Radley at that point and he broke out and was also on the Halloween train. Which means there's a big chance Mona knows exactly who it is but can't say, because she told Hanna she was the one in the Phantom of the Opera costume who tried to kiss her, although whoever did that was significantly taller than Hanna and looked particularly like a guy. Why would she lie about this unless she knew something?
  9. I had forgotten about Spider A! That was Shana right?
  10. Oh God! Please no more Sara! Even if she turns out to be evil the actress is just terrible. On a happier note, Ali will be back in the time jump. I saw a picture of her on instagram on set. I was starting to worry that she'd die by the end of the summer season. Then again, maybe she's back in flashbacks? I hope she doesn't die... I want her to get her shit together and survive this whole mess.
  11. Raccoons will be serving cheetos. All the bed buddies will be serving drinks topless and wearing balaclavas. Except for Toby, who will be wearing a du-rag on top his balaclava. Melissa will do a performance where she smashes masks of her own face for a full hour. Ezra will read excerpts from his book about the countless times he statutory raped Aria while holding a can of chickpeas. Veronica Hastings will react to this by saying: that is HARROWING. TO WHAT END? Cece Drake will also perform. She will kill 10 snakes with one mannequin leg. Noel Kahn will be sitting on a chair covered in a giant white sheet with cut outs for the eyes and a little hole that can only fit a straw to sip drinks. Jenna will be constantly running for her life in circles from someone trying to set her on fire and drowning her at the same time. Chickpeas will be the main ingredient on the menu. Chickpeas pop corn served in empty snow globes bowls. Hummus! Served in broken doll heads. Mini chickpeas burgers served by Lorenzo with a side of bacon. I could go on with this forever. But for everyone's sake, I'm gonna stop.
  12. Butterscotch and salt water taffy Ali dolls for everyone to take home! Huge Tippi the bird, and Pepe the dog gingerbread statues. Masks of Ali's face for everyone to wear over their faces. A memorabilia wall of all the A messages over the years, with pictures of Emily's shocked face to each one of them.
  13. Yes! I get Sara may have been too broken to ask anything about Ali before, but Ali should have made the effort to see her. Especially since Ali feels so guilty towards the liars, imagine how much guilt she has towards Sara who was just in the wrong place at the wrong time and was taken away for more than 2 years. It would have also been a nice parallel between the 2 ex queen bees and what each had to go through. Sara was trying to run away and she was held captive by a psychotic monster, Ali wanted to fight for what she had so bad that she had to run away against her will. If anything Ali and Sara are the ones to be making the most interactions this season because this dynamic would be incredibly interesting. I'd forgive Sara's bad acting (as I'm sure putting her with sasha wouldn't make her slightly better). As for the rest of the liars. It seems like the show is undergoing some serious budget cuts so they're really short on the recurring characters (I'm guessing the new ones don't get nearly paid as much), and the prom being in Spencer's barn which is also a set they already have, instead of a set they have to come up with. With this said, I understand why there aren't any more shrink sessions, but there are other ways to approach the dollhouse aftermath. They could do more flashbacks or at least try and explain some (Spencer and the blood), what happened to Emily and Hanna in there aside from the milligram experiment etc... Showing things from A's side is something that should have happened since Ali came back, or at least since the back half of last season. It's one of my biggest problems with the show, that you can't just reveal a villain. Even if it's a character we already know, we should see how they operate, what makes them tick etc... That would even the playing field and would make Ali and nd the liars instantly more interesting. Like the scene where they broke free from the dollhouse with A operating from the control room and them communicating with him through the camera. That was great! Because we get a sense of actual presence for once and not the usual omnipresence cloud that hangs over the entire show.
  14. This is what's pissing me off. The first 3 episodes were really strong and I feel like the writers chose to go with dragging the storyline until the finale and somehow decided the way to do it was by dumbing down everyone an putting Ali on house arrest. They could have just filled the time with more plausible interactions like the liars and Ali talking more, less time on Sara or the same time on Sara but at least have her talk to Ali since she had to pretend to be her for 2 years, more time on Andrew and how he figured out the liars were being framed for Mona's murder, and most of all, go deeper with the PTSD and aftermath of the dollhouse. Or, something even more interesting, scenes of A / Charles with the mask and all but just so we start getting a sense of the character since we're supposed to sympathize with him so much once he's revealed. For example, the ending scene of episode 3 with Charles looking in on his family from the outside was quite chilling and moving at once...
  15. Because she's never at school! Remember that time Ezra gave her an extended deadline to finish an essay in season 4? SHE STILL HASN'T TURNED IN THAT ESSAY!
  16. When she was on the Bros Watch PLL too podcast she says that Spencer has a very strong sex drive that if this show was on HBO she'd be a nymphomaniac.
  17. I just saw the sneak peek. Did the liars seriously not tell Ali that they know Charles is alive??? Or is this straight after Mr D dug up the grave and found it empty? Either way... WHY ISN'T ANYBODY SAYING ANYTHING? Gah.
  18. Blair would have sent A home a long time ago. She doesn't slack around! The first few cuts are from the finale not the next episode.
  19. I still think they're hilarious! But it seems like she's more forward about it seeing men in a black and white lens since the premiere.
  20. Maybe he'll be the red herring for the next episode and when the liars corner him he'll be like: I'm not creepy! I'm just gay! And the hashtag says: #creepyorgay Lovely message to send out
  21. And this: http://whothefckischarles.tumblr.com/post/124177102333/omg-wth-its-not-the-same-girl-right I think it would make more sense if Ali lied about that night. We've seen her mom brainwash her to lie until she starts believing it, maybe that's what happened? I don't know. Maybe we've been looking at it wrong! Honestly this would be a cool way to turn the mystery up on its toe. I just wish the build up was better.
  22. I spat out some of coffee while reading that! To me, this is everything: I love Heather's recaps, but lately it feels like she's in total hate men mode? Or is it just me? I get that the show is hinting towards patriarchy and I get that most men in Rosewood are predators and stalkers etc, etc, etc... but she's been picking on everyone even Caleb, and Dean in the last 2 episodes. I get that the show is all about the liars and their point of view, but people can still screw up without being bad people: Caleb putting the tracker on Hanna's car came from how worried he was and because he felt Hanna was keeping things from him again. He's been feeling helpless, and though I agree a tracker is a bit extreme, he could at least know where she was even if he didn't know what she was doing. Him grabbing her this episode to sleep with her was just his way of reaching out. He's a person too and he's been feeling out-margined by the person he loves the most. Dean's manpain... I didn't see it like that at all. When he was first introduced way back in season 4, he was the first person to ever notice that Spencer did not feel safe in her own house. At that time everyone else was treating her like a crazy person including Toby and her parents. I think when Veronica fired him he felt a little guilty because he was somewhat starting to develop inappropriate feelings for a 17 year old girl in a vulnerable state. Since he's been back, I think he's been having the same struggle. Spencer is 18 now but she's still young, and even more vulnerable than ever considering all the shit she went through since. He did the only he could do: walk away. Also he is a sobriety coach, yes in his world when people don't show up to meetings there's a big chance they might be dead or falling off the wagon. Why is it a selfish self absorbed thing to say?
  23. Sara is supposed to run away (again) and the liars eventually find her in the dollhouse, because it's the only place where she can sleep. That's when Emily leaves her because she sees just how damaged she is. Actually I read something super interesting last night. It's the only Sara is Bethany explanation that didn't get my eyes rolling. http://prettylittlethe0ry.tumblr.com/post/124125608622/bethany-and-charles-bonnie-and-clyde
  24. THIS The problem is not just with Wren but pretty much every suspect. Especially with what we learned this week from Mona unless they're going to tell us otherwise later. If Charles was still in Radley on labor day 2009 then this would rule out anyone we've seen at any given moment before that. Which honestly rules out everyone but Wren! We know Wilden was in Cape May that summer and we know Ezra was seeing Ali that summer. The big question is why fake your death and stay in the mental institution where you're being held? Let alone that he went back there 2 years later as a doctor...
