How Meredith made the team, but Julia was cut is beyond me. I can understand why Madeline S. was cut. Ignoring VK is kinda nice. Still bored though.

You're doing better than me. I haven't even remembered to DVR this season. I mostly put it on as background music as I work on my desk so I use the on demand function. To DVR I'd actually have to go to my TV and this season hasn't exited me enough to do that. I'm reading updates now and it doesn't seem like I've missed much.

And, here we are on another Saturday, where I've realized Friday evening has passed by and I completely forgot this show was even on.

So Kat and Meredith are both alternates...so they took a team of 35? Interesting... I do believe Kat was kept for diversity AND to balance out VK. I have caught subtle, and not so subtle, re-writing of history. As an example, Kelli emphasizing whether or not they're seen enough or if a girl DESERVES or needs more time...those digs are being done on purpose and it's like this entire season is to prove that last year wasn't an anomaly and the other 11 seasons never actually happened. I needed a break from Hurricane Dorian so catching up on this thread was a welcomed distraction, so thank you to all who are updating and posting.

My kids love Billie Eilish. It makes my ears bleed. I now understand why my parents hated *N Sync and Britney Spears.

I am trying super hard to get into this season and it's just not happening. I'm not even sure I could blame Vikkie for it at this point...I watched last night's episode and continue to struggle with why they kept Kat. I realize they don't want women too invested so they don't wind up with another Malena; but Kat is, I dare say, a darker skinned Vikkie 1.0 in terms of interview quality, dance ability and beauty. And...she's older and therefore, should be able to come across more mature than she is. If I were Malena, and see what they're doing this year, I'd be pissed.

I'd just like to point out, that if you travel back into last year's thread (and I mean the 'you' as ambiguous) you'll find that most of the comments about Vikkie didn't stem directly from her dancing. In fact, you may even find a comment or two of mine that said she can definitely dance the DCC style. If you remove turns, being sloppy (ie. too big) at times and traveling; her dancing has never really been the main issue. The problem with Vikkie is that at her core she is rotten. No positive edit is going to change that. Frankly, she was blessed with a really lack luster rookie class this year so she's standing out in a positive way on the dance floor, but it doesn't make her a good person. So does Vikkie and we know she has a fairly negative track record on being a good person. You are officially smarter than TPTB. She will never try out. There used to be a video, it was deleted/moved in the archive and I've never been able to find it again, but it was Sam F. in a prep class and it was bad. You could tell she was trying and likely doing it for fun, but she doesn't have any musicality.

I think you have Christina and Brennan mixed up. Christmas doesn't get much love around these parts... I have a feeling it won't be 1 year. Wouldn't be the first time I couldn't eye roll hard enough. I'm sure she'll be back. I doubt it.

Are we really that surprised that Kelli and Judy really ARE that tone deaf? If this gets picked up by the wrong media outlet they'll get slaughtered.

I really want to know who she murdered because there is no reason she's where she is because of her dancing. I'm disappointed to see Hannah so far back. Not amused by creeper suit wearer holding up his phone to record the girls... You ain't lying. But, can we take a second to wonder where Amber's belly button is in that picture? I can't find it...I'm assuming she has one though. Yes it is. Amy, Maddie and Lexie are the triangle for Thunderstruck and it's the most basic boring triangle we have seen...maybe ever. Fixed that for you 😜 At least she's basically being hidden in the back for most of the routines and honestly, even when I tried to find her, I struggled to do so, so the girl just doesn't stand out to me. Nah, Mama Kalina don't take no criticisms either...

Fixed that for you 😜 I think Audrina has been fairly candid about her divorce and life since the show ended, but up until now, she is continually looped into the same drama over and over again. Like tonight's blow up---yes, Steph you were an absolute tool about what Brody was dealing with and Audrina didn't hype him up, she was honest. Own your shit or get off the pot. I think I'd like Audrina's screen time 100% more if Justin Bobby and Stephanie disappeared from the show. And Whitney---she's there and she's not. She could disappear and I wouldn't notice.

I thought it was in poor taste and the clip they showed didn't come off as that bad. I don't think her dream was realistic, but I also don't think she is the worst person to walk through the door. Kelli knows they have to come off a pro-education, when in reality, they're DCC before everything. If Kitty took a SM bashing, frankly, she deserved it. I didn't watch that video---anyone have a link?

I would be 100% more okay with Gabby's cut if Christina was cut too. But since we're forced to put up with Christina again, I'd rather see Gabby be on the squad too.

No, Maddie just isn't particularly good at it. I think a lot of her accolades for hip-hop stem from the fact that she is a white girl from Utah and thus, isn't expected to be fluent in hip-hop. The fact that she does it, gets people's attention because it doesn't fit their expectation---but when you break it down, it's mediocre. Maddie doing hip-hop is like Vikkie trying to do turns. Just because they can, doesn't mean they have the technique for it.
