  1. We never predicted ROTY would go to Caroline last year so I think it'll go to someone we don't expect.
  2. La'Darius is now back on Navarro as well. They'll be on Ellen next week.
  3. Texas is nice. In Florida, you have 2 weeks after you move to change your license. And yes, it is the law. I was pulled over for forgetting to turn my lights on---it was night, I had just left CVS in the middle of the morning to get my sick kiddo medicine and I have daylight running lights so it was my taillight that was off. I had to amend where I lived because I had an out of state officer and he was very ready to write me a ticket for it until I pulled out my military ID---that exempted me from the law. This is fairly common and we've lived, thanks to the Army, in a few different states. This is a hard pass for me. I get what she was trying to do, but if you are THAT tone deaf in Texas, then you deserve the punishment you get. Most of the girls have a public social media account.
  4. Here is an article about the monopoly that runs cheerleading as we know it: https://mattstoller.substack.com/p/this-is-not-a-democracy-its-a-cheerocracy?utm_campaign=post&utm_medium=web&utm_source=copy&fbclid=IwAR2a5CDXW8mIMD9CB_CmKv5NmVDwPAK9qGYlXif4UuyLeNfvjthiKZD0-lk
  5. For those wondering about Cheer Athletics Wildcats, this is from showcase. La'Darius is also on Wildcats. Ali and a handful of other Navarro cheerleaders joined their Claw 7 team this past weekend at Cheer Athletics.
  6. No, he has left Louisville permanently. He missed Navarro and has come back, he is also on Wildcats though. Morgan also left Texas Tech and is back at Navarro. Wildcats are an all-star team out of Cheer Athletics. Jerry can't. He left Louisville.
  7. Grade 11 and up. So that could be 16 depending on your birthday.
  8. "her [Gabi's] parents have gone full Kris Jenner in making her into an empire" They only wish they could do that...bwahahahahaha!
  9. If an athlete gets injured, the routine stops. They were deducted for his error (falling with his tumbling) but anything after the music stopped wasn't scored. When they go a second time, scoring doesn't start again until the stopped part has started. Unlike gymnastics, cheerleading is a team sport. If an individual athlete falls, that is on them. In cheerleading, if an individual athlete causes a stunt to fall the routine keeps going---this only happened because there was an injury that prevented the rest of the performance to go on. If he had fallen out of his tumbling, got up and finished the routine---it wouldn't have been to go back to warm-ups with an alternate for 30 minutes and try again.
  10. There is a web series that focused on the University of Louisville. It's night and day different.
  11. Gabi's parents are rich. Her father has several businesses and they live a very nice life in South Florida.
  12. They were in the same rookie class so it could be who they bonded with each other the most.
  13. It would make Amy a more interesting PB pick tho...
  14. No. Whatever you did pre-pregnancy, you can generally continue doing during pregnancy as long as it doesn't cause you pain. Some women still run marathons while pregnant. It's all about your fitness level before you got pregnant.
  15. It's been well known about Heather, but for the longest time everyone respected her privacy and refused to actually say what happened on this forum. I don't know who outed her in here, but it's been talked about for 2 seasons now.
  16. I could not disagree with this sentiment more if I tried. We need to teach people not to steal. In regards to Heather's situation, someone illegally hacked her cloud and stole her property (her pictures). That makes Heather a victim. It is absolutely victim blaming to say, "Well she shouldn't have had them to begin with." Heather is an adult and taking nude pictures isn't illegal. Some may find it immoral and that is their own opinion, but only one person committed a crime and it wasn't Heather. To victimize her all over again by blaming her is sad.
  17. That is victim shaming. Heather is an adult who was in a long distance relationship. The fact that she was punished without the nudes ever going public says way more about Kelli&Co than it does about Heather. She is someone I thought should have retired this past year, but I'm glad to see her taking the initiative now so she doesn't have to be cut in front of everyone.
  18. They were on her phone and her cloud was hacked. They were never released, but she was punished like they were.
  19. That is Tess. I always forget Miranda exists, I wonder if she's one who will retire this year?
  20. Brennan looks amazing in this picture!
  21. Skkkrrrr...this may be going a little too far. You forgot Brennan and I'd totally be okay with deleting Rachel W. from this picture.
  22. Thank you! I don't think anyone has actually called her bad. In fact, the general conscious is that she can dance. With that said, her solo DCC in Motion video is another shining example of questionable technique. I'm not saying every second of the dance is bad, but I am saying that she does a few things pretty bad. And, if lyrical is her strength then that solo should be near perfect---especially since she gets to control the take they use and yet, it's not.
  23. Kat did a full year on the squad so she's officially a DCC. I don't think anyone cut in TCC do it.
  24. I guess we'll have to wait and see what happens on her birthday. No clue when that is, but it'll pop up eventually. I didn't say Victoria was a blender, I said she should be. Her power is as much a weakness as it is a strength because it's the thing that makes her stand out when she messes up. I also said the ballet comment was moreso a testament to her lack of core. Maddie, Amy, Hannah and Kashara don't fall out out of turns consistently, which is another red flag of an underdeveloped core. I also would never put Maddie, Amy, Hannah or Kashara next to Caroline in choreography and expect them to leap with the same skill and height; one is trained with technique for days and the others aren't. This is where Victoria should have been blended, not given a showcase section doing something she doesn't do well. And that is the story of Victoria's year. She was put into positions within routines that rookies traditionally aren't and she did not shine. The question has never been can Victoria dance...because even I have agreed that she could have made the team on her own if the year prior had never happened. The question is, is she good enough to warrant the extraness she's been getting and the answer to that, in my opinion, is no. She is not a dance rock star like Kashara, she doesn't have the sultry dance pop of Holly, or the technical dance skills of Lacey. She should be a blender to gift her more time to hone the style and learn the muscle memory so that when the day came that she was pushed to the front, she wouldn't be the one getting picked apart because she wouldn't be making the mistakes.
