Oh my God, is that what they really believe? This has made me so angry!! Of all the twisted things I've heard about this religion, this takes the biscuit, how can any woman follow a religion that preaches this crap.

I honestly don't think even that would make Anna leave him, she knows now he molested his sisters...his sisters for Gods sake! And now the latest news of him committing adultery, and she is still living in the same house as him! I have felt very sorry for Anna, I don't think she deserves any of this, but, if she stays with him now, then I have lost patience with her.

Well, well, well, wasn't expecting this news today. My first thoughts were, hmmm.....methinks maybe Derick has been more pissed off about the whole Josh thing than we gave him credit for, who knows what has been said at the TTH privately between the family these last few weeks, and maybe, just maybe Derick isn't buying into the Josh is forgiven BS and the only thing he can do for now is remove Jill and his son, I do hope that is the case. Seems suspect to me that although missionary work was always on the cards for them, the timing has been brought forward. Might be wishful thinking on my part, and I really, really hope this move away doesn't involve the Duggars in any way, shape or form.

Josh seems to have a huge sense of entitlement, he is the No.1 Duggar son after all and we should all bow our heads and acknowledge this! There is no way he will go back to school/college, there is no way he will work for anybody other than his father now, his total and utter belief in himself and his 'elevated position' as the golden child with a hot line to God will stop him doing this, I just can't imagine him toeing the line like us lowly plebs have to do on a daily basis, by turning up to probably menial/manual job as he isn't smart enough for anything else, being told what to do and being expected to do it. No, he will most certainly be 'employed' by his father, none of them will ever, imo, break free from Jim Bob.

Well for once I am glad that we in the UK are so far behind in this Duggar fiasco, the interview hasn't been shown in the UK which is just as well as I think my head might have exploded. Was there any explanation/mention of why Josh wasn't taking part in the interview? I honestly don't think there is any hope for those girls, by the sounds of it Jessa and Jill are defending Josh, blaming the media and still toeing the party (JimBobs) line. They, and probably all the kids, are completely under their parents thumb, if this isn't enough to make them question their lifestyle, religion or their parents nothing will. It's a shame that neither of their husbands have taken control and said 'enough, no more of this', and distanced themselves and their wives from the family. Jimbob and Michelle brainwashed the kids about the evils of the 'outside' world and all the time the real evil was living in the house with them.

I will have to rely on you guys keeping me updated or posting a link to this interview when it happens. But, when I read it was taking place in the Duggars home my heart sank, I think we all know how this is going to go........it will be all praying to God, Gods forgiveness, Michelle with the fixed look of total adoration on her face beaming up at JimBob.....sigh...... No accountability, just more covering up imo.

Agree with the above, Anna's world has come crashing down around her I bet her thoughts are full of confusion and panic but, she is too 'institutionalised' into that life style to ever break free. This is a girl who has never had an original thought or opinion of her own, I very much doubt that even the thought of leaving Josh has crossed her mind, instead she will spend a lot of time praying about the situation. And even if she did leave, where would she go and what would she do? Three young children and another due, no money and no education, and doubtful if her own family would step in and help her, no, I'm thinking better the devil you know, she isn't going anywhere.

I kept thinking about all this yesterday....yeah, I know, get a life....and all I could 'see' was Michelle's moon face beaming up at Jim Bob, them holding hands and praying to God, because sure as eggs God would steer them in the right direction and tell them what to do. I think this will be Anna's thinking as well. I don't think they will take any responsibility for what has happened in the past, neither do I think that the girls involved in this sorry mess will be given priority in their thinking, they won't see the destruction they have caused and the far reaching ripples that will spread out and cause havoc. Instead it will be all 'lets pray to God' ...yep brilliant idea, that way you off set your role in all this and firmly place it in Gods hands. Jill and Jessa managed to escape by marrying, they at least have a chance of a normal life, well, normal for them, but the other older girls are imo, doomed, all of them including the married ones, are so brain washed, so indoctrinated by JB and Michelle that I personally don't think there is any hope for them. Bit like the whipped puppy syndrome, they know no different and will keep 'going back' to those that use and abuse them, meaning keeping faith with the family not Josh. The way JB and Michelle have kept all the kids apart from the world, with home schooling, getting the kids to 'snitch' on each other etc has worked, they must know that now the s**t has hit the fan, that not one of them will speak out against them.

Oh to be a 'fly on the wall' in the Duggar house at the moment! Although I am shocked at the latest news there is a part of me that isn't. I just feel sorry for the kids, all of them, not condoning what Josh did but, I think he is also a victim of how he was raised, Jim Bob and Michelle have a lot to answer for imo. All of it, the girls knowing their mums 'cycle' the dry humping, the innuendo about sex, kid shouldn't have this sort of knowledge re their parents intimacy, it's just wrong imo and then to be told they must be kept pure, all the fuss about Josie not having her shoulders covered....oh for Gods sake, knowing what we know now, how can those kids be anything other than screwed up?! I wonder at how many other 'secrets' there are in that family. Well the Duggar empire has exploded now, Jim Bob and Michelle have made their millions so they will still live a comfortable life style, but the kids, not educated, their family values blown apart, their 'celebrity' status gone, what sort of future do they have.

Having watched the video it does seem to me that both Derek and Ben were deliberately aiming for the cat, there was plenty of room at the top of the slope, they could easily have moved along a bit and not put it at risk.

It made a refreshing change to see a genuine reaction from one of the kids on this type of programme, shame we don't see more, I can't imagine that Jim Bob would allow any of his brood to be shown in this way.

Felt really sorry for Zoey, poor little kid, can you imagine being taken away from the only 'home' and people you know and driven off by strangers, we know she will have a wonderful life with Bill and Jen but she doesn't know that yet. I thought Will was really good meeting Zoey for the first time, he is a happy little chap. Got to admit I've never seen Downton Abbey not my thing at all, but love Call the Midwife.

On the subject of clothes, sorry TLC is all over the place with what series they show here, but I've just watched the episode where Michelle and the older girls went camping with the Bates older girls. All the girls went swimming in the lake, some had a black skirt thing over leggings and ordinary t shirts, but I swear a couple of the girls went swimming in denim skirts!! Meant to rewind and watch again but mistakenly deleted it instead. Denim skirts? Really? Too, too bizarre.
