I think Burton is more expressive than generally thought but today when Nelle walked in the room, nothing. Chase and Willow are okay but it's way too soon for them to settle down, so I'm cool with a break-up. They can get together again later (unless dating Michael doesn't turn out so well for her.)

I think Wiley being Michael's son is more for Nelle. It's her tie to the show. I think Neil and Alexis are the couple but I also think they will get three episodes a month.

Yeah, I've never cared Nelle at all, not even when she was scheming against Carly but this is finally a plot turn that intrigues me a bit.

Valentin threw a woman over a railing, I don't think it makes Lulu look bad she wants full custody. I do agree that the custody fights are annoying and who cares just ship her off to boarding school.

Oh, i think they wrote it that way on purpose. I think all they do is take Valentin into consideration. Charlotte favors Valentin and Nina while she usually blames or yells at Lulu. Gee, Valentin kills lies and manipulates but he likes his kid and Nina. The writing has taken pot-shots at the actress (Valentin called her a bobble head). I'd say only when Valentin pushed Ava into the water did the show start making it seem like Valentin was the villain and I bet they'll mitigate that anyway. Before that it was shrewy pushy Lulu compared to complex but loves his daughter Valentin. I think the reason they made Lulu the mom was just to give Lulu and Laura a reason not to go after him since he was Charlotte's dad. As for him putting Charlotte first, as stated, he sent her out of the room so she wouldn't hear about his attempted murders. And Lulu didn't donate anything. It was forced from her. Not that I disagree that Rylan isn't the best actress, I just don't think either Valentin or Lulu come across as the better option in this situation.

I mostly skip Jasam scenes so I mostly just want Peter caught because of Maxie who is pretty condescending and self-righteous herself these days.

That was 2007-08, during the terrible let's make her and Carly besties era. I think they're about the same in "warmth" and I think they both had more or less the same amount of chemistry with DZ. (I might even give the edge to ER there - but I thought JMB and DZ worked well together in that they had more of a natural acting style.) I think JMB had much better chemistry with GF though. Sucks they never had that many scenes together. I think ER and KSt get too squealy with one another. I feel like I'm watching them and not Maxie and Lulu. But ER is definitely at a disadvantage as well because she's never been written for much and has only had the post-Valentini one take way of filming. Someone made a list of 100 top episode counts for the actors from 2010-19 and JMB was only 200 episodes less than ER even though she was on 2 and a half years for that.

I think that is her trying, she's just mediocre. Either that or she can't handle just one take. She can get out her lines and say them clearly and enunciate, but that's about it. (Which to be fair, some people can't do that, even if they're better actors.) I don't think at this point NLG would veto airtime because it's a Cassadine story.

I don't think that makes her seem petty or small minded. I think it's understandable that she thinks her kid is going to be over-spoiled, especially since she already is. imo.

Maybe she doesn't think it's so great, but since Spencer isn't her kid, she doesn't say anything.

Man, why did they give his character a baby again? Excerpt of Eden McCoy talking (Joss) about Chad Duell and babies: "But it's always funny to see Chad try to hold an infant! He just doesn't want to, at all." And then she goes on to say how it's hard because they're so small and you don't want to hold it the wrong way and look like a moron and have people talk about how you can't hold a baby. And then says that is why Chad is never seen holding a baby in a scene because he mostly refuses to do it. I mean I get it, holding someone's else's baby can be nervewracking but he's 32 years old and an actor. Go get some darn practice.

I don't think the writers care about them. imo they have to write for them because Valentini or Varni or whoever says they have to. And then they're probably hamstrung by not being able to give them any flaws or teeth and we get these scenes.

I think whatever affection Sonny has for her is the same because it was based on her being Luke and Laura's daughter, not his in-law. Not that either way he would ever think of her considerations first, heh.

Kids like lots of things that aren't great for them.
