That's what I was about to say. Technically I am fine with an episode like this, although the cheese in that promo is a bit strong, but even if LW acts her role in the episode well, giving the character the face and voice of Carly makes it come across like bullshit. Also, so was she Lena's mom? Way to inspire.

Oh sure a lot of it is sketchy, but I think his overall motivation is sympathetic for a soap. And I think it's not a total invention.

@WendyCR72 It's shocking and it isn't. If they had let her go any time the past two years it wouldn't have been shocking, they were doing nothing with her and DZ and GF weren't on the show. Now? Unless they recast, which they probably haven't, it's a weird choice, especially considering she probably was not all that expensive and they probably could have lowballed her some more to boot.

Okay, so my theory was almost right - I thought the dad met Jackie first and Finn slept with Jackie from revenge/attraction, and while he met Jackie first and slept with her before the wedding night with the dad, the part that I got right was he felt terrible and didn't want to take Jackie away from the dad because Jackie helped the dad. A douchy thing to do since there was Chase but I think the motive is sympathetic.

Who would care about Maxie/Dante besides Lulu though? Writing her off most of the drama is not there. They should have done them two years ago after Nathan. But yeah I think they are the most likely scenario while poor Peter broods in the corner.

I don't disagree but I am almost positive ER would have been willing to be on recurring. You're probably right about everything but something just feels fishy. I hope Lulu does just leave town though because . . . I can go with abandoned kids when it's because of off screen stuff rather than deal with convoluted return from the dead stuff later on.

Yeees but who would have thought Lucky was going to be recast with JJ after ten years? And the writing has been set up with Julian to leave for years. They could have fired ER any time in the past two years and it wouldn't have made much of a stir, why now when she has some semblance of a plot. And Dante is already super angsty, killing Lulu off would up it to almost ridiculous levels. And they usually don't kill off veteran characters. Backburner them and give them sporadic airtime or fire them, but usually not kill. Maybe she'll just leave town with Dustin, which I think would make it easiest for them to move Dante on. And if they were killing her off wouldn't it have been soapier for them to just reunite immediately? There is also the possibility they hire her again in 6 months after they are done with some of the other actors like Jeff Kober and Gregory Harrison. I don't know. Something feels pretty off.

It'll make it harder to pair him, not easier, imo. Fans are gonna be annoyed she was fired for someone else. It's like Liz/Lucky/Siobhan. ER wasn't great, but unless they are re casting imo it makes more sense to keep her than KMo or KSt.

It was Peter's idea to do the article on Faison, so while Lulu was thoughtless and Nathan was dumb Peter was the only one who knew that he (Peter) was Faison's son. It doesn't help Peter that while he didn't kill Nathan he sure benefited from him getting killed.

Not technically no but Maxie spent months busting Lulu about it but now she went on about how he helped heal her from something he helped cause. It looks a bit ridiculous.

The name thing is silly, especially since Dustin can just use those names for Dante. We'll probably get an episode of them at the gym throwing D names at each other.
