  1. What I didn't get was why Rebecca turned on Barbie so quickly. She seemed fine with him when they were conspiring for him to be the one to go up in the plane, then all of a sudden after she's all bitter toward him while talking to Big Jim.
  2. You all are probably right about Ethan: he's educated so he would logically know Latin and it was more of an abjuration. I do think it would be interesting, though, if he was a defrocked priest turned cowboy who hesitated to do any sort of ritual himself and wanted a priest because of the defrocking.
  3. Wow, loved this episode! Probably one of my faves, although to be honest I have a lot of fave eps with this show. I really loved the first moments with Victor and Vanessa, which really surprised me. They were really very charming (before she turned of course). And Ethan is growing very quickly on me. Is he a former exorcist? Or just a former priest? Josh was awesome tonight. So sad that we're near the end, though!
  4. Now see, I saw it as her saying that gave him permission. So she was the one in control. It's been way too many years since I read the book, but isn't that the point of Dorian? That he has this dangerous allure that folks find it hard to resist? That would go along with the way the scene are playing out.
  5. Stacey I agree, this episode really picked up for me, even beyond the focus on Drew and the appearance of Jeffrey. I always give new shows at least 3 - 5 episodes before I make a judgment, so maybe this is starting to gel. photo fox, it always takes me a while to figure out names in shows. And I agree with you as well, I don't see a reluctance to make out at work as a clear indication someone is must be gay. Quite the leap there (that just happened to land).
  6. Jeffrey Pierce. JEFFREY PIERCE!!!!! Okay, I was just hanging on because of my love of Brendan Fehr (both because he was hot and now hotter, and because I find his character to be the most interesting). But Jeffrey Pierce is a game changer for me if he sticks around (please?). In the past month I've marathoned both Charlie Jade and Cult (and thought about rewatching Alcatraz). Love this man.
  7. Holy crap, watching the show now and I'm shocked about how much the ponytail improves Kody! I'm completely with Janelle. I've never found him attractive before, but he was - dare I say it - almost handsome. Part of that may be the fact that I love short hair on guys anyway, and part may be that I've always been a big Janelle fan, so whatever makes her happy makes me happy. But also....he just looks better that way! =D
  8. It's weird because Super!Awesome!Doctor is the only thing that isn't working for me. The "weird" is that I'm usually very shallow when it comes to this kind of tv and as long as the guy is hot, I'll forgive a lot. But holy Mary Sue, Batman! I'll keep watching because it's just one character and the rest of it is entertaining enough. And the actor is likable enough, even though his character is written so I'm pulled out of every scene by his Super!Awesomeness.
  9. I literally sat up and said "holy crap" when they actually kissed. As soon as I saw Dorian Gray I tweeted that I knew I was going to ship him with everyone...little did I know he'd be just about paired with everyone by the end of his second episode (if you count "meaningful glances" with Vanessa). This was something I expected from Dorian, but didn't think they'd go there with the sharpshooting American...so it will be interesting to see if this is new to him and was just some absinthe-fueled moment, or if there's something they'll reveal in his past when it's his episode to do that. I'm loving this show...have from the start...but this just makes it better.
