  1. I don't know why, but it kind of rubbed me the wrong way when Josh said something along the lines of him being certain he'd marry Andi and that she'd no longer be "Andi Dorfman" but "Andy Murray." Maybe it's just me, but it's 2014... women don't need to automatically take the husband's last name; she can keep her last name if she wants to.
  2. I now desperately need a scene of Hook taking a half hour to type out one sentence using only his index finger and hook, because of course an amateur computer user like him would be a chicken pecker on the keyboard.
  3. As much as I love Nick, I think Andi has already chosen Josh in her mind. And is it just me, or did the producers tell Chris he's going to be the next Bachelor or something? Because he was way too calm during that breakup despite being "in love" with her.
  4. As long as the show doesn't end up making Mitchell play the older version of Elsa who ends up in Storybrooke, and the younger actors only show up in flashbacks... I can handle whatever character she ends up portraying.
  5. Because Zelena likes her plans to be ridiculous, convoluted, and overly complicated. (See: cursing someone's lips to take away another person's magical powers.)
  6. No offense to any Iowa lovers here, but even their "larger cities" are fairly small and pretty boring for someone who has spent time in a bigger city. You really have to embrace a simpler lifestyle to live there. I would not blame Andi one bit for not wanting to move to Iowa, even if she got a job in one of those "big" cities. Trust me, I've had to do my fair share of weekend traveling to Iowa over the past 5 years and there is literally nothing more boring than driving along those flat highways surrounded by miles of corn for hours on end. The most exciting thing near Chris's hometown is the giant strawberry in Strawberry Point. Being a lawyer doesn't require an unemotional personality, it requires a person to be studious and to be able to read and write thousands of pages of legal documents.
  7. As a fellow Waukesha/Milwaukee area native, Nick's hometown date was really fun to watch. It was pretty obvious that he was just showing Andi some of the very stereotypical Wisconsin things there is to know about the state, like: Packers/Cheeseheads, fresh cheese curds at the marketplace, polka music (which is basically nonexistent to be honest... I have no clue where you can even find a polka band in the area?), and amazing beer. Nick definitely gained some major brownie points in my book by taking her on a Lakefront Brewery tour, too; that's one of the nicer breweries in the city. (Andi better have enjoyed that Wisconsinite beer! Probably my second favorite Wisconsin-brewed beer behind Spotted Cow.) Josh's teeth continue to distract me, especially when he was nervously talking a mile a minute during his hometown interviews.
  8. God, I swear I stopped watching this show years ago. I have no idea how this season pulled me back in again, but it did. I love Nick too! I've been so annoyed with this contrived "villain edit" he's getting. I can completely understand why he's feeling a little cocky and thinks he's the best fit for Andi because, frankly, he is at this point. It's pretty obvious they have the most natural chemistry right now (we'll see how the remaining weeks go), and he's basically saying fuck it to the reality show rules and doing what he can to prove to Andi he's falling in love with her. I'm sorry, but if the guys can't name one instance where Nick was being a tool, then maybe they're the ones who are jealous. So what if he watched previous seasons of The Bachelor(ette)? That's actually incredibly smart of him because he seems like a pretty realistic person who'd want to know beforehand what kind of convoluted things go into this "dating" show. It's pretty healthy to go into this show a bit skeptical, so the fact that he recognizes he's on a reality television show while they're filming makes him the most intelligent out of all the guys there. When he points out all the TV production details that'll happen in each city they go, that doesn't make him a scheming douchebag, it just shows that he's not jaded to the Bachelorette process and makes him seem more real and more grounded as a person. Like, he understands this is a crazy social experiment, so he might as well study up on how to play the process, but still maintain loyal and real towards Andi. Also, I like how Nick and Andi can tease each other and he can say "you suck" to her, but it still seems lighthearted and funny. I don't see that kind of natural rapport between Andi and any of the other guys left yet.
