I think the show is just too serialized for brand new viewers. If I hadn't been watching all along (and paying close attention), I wouldn't be able to figure out what the hell was happening if I tuned in for the first time.

Have you read TV Guide's recent interview with Fuller? I too thought Will's killing of Freddie was a fake out, but after reading that I'm not so sure.

Thinking back to their fake B&B, I'm leaning that way myself.

I don't know much about Mike Jr., but he definitely came across as a dick to me as well in this show. How on earth do Michael Jr and Ali support themselves in the big bad (very very expensive $$$) city anyway? Are we to believe Michael's app has made him independently wealthy? What other information do we have with which to judge Michael Jr? Are you privy to inside information? We are posting on a forum about this show and what we have seen there, and yeah, we're gonna judge.

Dead (Chilton) and brainwashed and drugged (Miriam). I agree with you, I also found the episode somewhat disjointed and a bit unsatisfying. Not enough backstory on the psycho social worker for me to get invested and interested. I read somewhere that he "sewed" the bird into the deceased's chest cavity, but I'm having a hard time imaging HOW as well.

I don't think Will is truly fascinated with Hannibal, i think he's just playing him in any and every way possible in order to catch him.

I lost interest in these two and their shows years ago but I will turn in this time! Karma is a bitch.

However, Hannibal has had Miriam for at least a couple years, right? Hannibal and Chilton's conversations were fairly recent, weren't they?
