  1. Maybe the CW should pay SA on the side to do all the Arrow promotion... He couldn't do worse. Also EBR either has to stay for a long shoot and/or she is really is the most beloved cast member :-)
  2. Isn't that what all the viewers they have left are tuning in for?
  3. Almost every conflict that they come up with is exactly that. Even though they have so many episodes, they somehow cannot manage to write a consistent storyline that would show the viewer a character's motivation. (Maybe they show really focus on an actual overall plot next season. And not push stuff back or move storylines around. But aren't we all glad that according to one of the episode's descriptions we have time for Curtis on his quest for love but not for Diggle's reasoning why he wants to be GA. I mean, what is bad about Spartan? I don't get it.
  4. To be fair, so does he... Was that the one he promoted? That was really, really terrible. Nobody could act at all.
  5. I think this was mentioned before or maybe I am remembering it wrong but apparently she (and he?) doesn't really like Vancouver. Maybe that is a rumor because I cannot find an article or a source. To each their own I guess, because to me Vancouver is a really nice city.
  6. I sometimes wonder if he thought he'd be bigger by now. I mean, he is a celebrity but so far the only big blockbuster he did was a failure and it didn't become this big franchise. Not that he can't still do more, that is not what I am saying at all, I just assume his Arrow job pays a lot of the bills and feeds a lot of his other projects. So while I wonder the same as you, I tend to think that the family is a really big factor but I am not sure he would give up Arrow as easily now.
  7. This Zoe storyline bugs me because Rene supposedly is all about his daughter but then is shown to be so careless that one has to wonder if he even has a daughter. Also, I am in no way qualified to comment on how to write a show but by episode 21 of a season shouldn't the action pick up? Dealing with Rene and his daughter once again (like last season around the same time) doesn't seem like that to me. But then again Oliver and Diggle also made up in Season 1 right around that time. But back then I actually cared, so I wanted to see it. Maybe that makes it slightly different.
  8. Maybe he is going to lose his job as mayor and on top of it feel like he is losing the city? I just want him not to lash out at Felicity and William all that much.
  9. I mean, I know this is their private accounts and what they post is totally up to them. But to be totally honest, I am not watching the show for NTA and I don't understand how anyone in the producer's chair thinks that people watch Arrow for that. Also Nyssa got pretty new hair. Looks nice on her.
  10. While we are on this topic: Whatever happened to MG's idea of another (let's call it) social problem episode. Wasn't he talking about doing another one of those? Did that die a quiet death?
  11. Who knows if Diaz sticks around. I am not attached to him one way or the other. And since the guy portraying him seems, let's say weird, I care even less. If Diaz really truly were to die, would this make BS the big bad of S6? Because while she works as a smaller villain who makes your life more difficult, she comes nowhere close to being Slade or Malcom Meryln. Felicity managed to punch her out last season. I still would prefer to know how everyone got off the island instead of having an all villain episode.
  12. This would be the time to do a poll. Who will it be? Anatoly, Curtis or BS? I like your idea best but it could totally be BS.
  13. At the moment, with all the drama, they have a hard time gaining momentum as it is. Because how is it going to end? Oliver will be out for this episode, we will get to know the villains, the team comes back together because they realise that in order to outsmart Diaz they have to work together. I still don't know how BS will fit in. Maybe she plays them all and she will turn out to be the big bad. Because she seems to have a lot of screen time but apparently not a good storyline. And while I am not trying to be rude but a lot of BS and nothing else, really doesn't sound that appealing.
  14. I have a question: Doesn't SA have every Monday of this season (maybe even the previous season) by his own request to spend more time with his family? After all these years as the main character, does he or doesn't he have any say in his storyline or screen time? I am torn on this because I didn't like the flashbacks after S2 but it feels as though they don't know how to fill the time they now have. The storyline doesn't feel tight at all but mostly made up as you go along. The storyline in earlier season focused primarily on Oliver's present and past but apart from the few episodes in S3 that weren't that well received, I believe (even though SA hyped them back in the day as very strong) the show always suffers when it doesn't focus on Oliver or a beloved character like Diggle. People like to watch characters they care about. It is not rocket science. Therefore I don't understand why at the end of the season they'd sideline all their main characters for what is probably an exposition episode for the villains. I don't get why the writers make the shower weaker than it needs to be. They still have all the ingredients for a great show but they don't seem to use it by choice.
  15. Not to repeat something that has already been discussed but why would a cast member talk about their contracts with the the paparazzi guy. Because I always assumed that the main cast, at least the old ones, has a multiple years type of contracts. Maybe the newbies have to make contracts every year. Regardless I expect all the DCs shows to be renewed. Although I wouldn't be surprised if S7 is the last one. But regardless of it all, it bugs me that everyone goes on and on at how great the Flash is...Give it two more years and then you should compare. Regarding actual spoilers: Hopefully Thea can finally find happiness with Roy. Oliver will probably realise something along those lines.
  16. For a second, I read it 'he's gone' as he's dead... Maybe wishful thinking Stuff like that makes me roll my eyes so bad. Because how can it be nostalgic? It isn't even the same character. It isn't E1 Laurel. If it were her, then ok. But BS has no memories of Oliver and his Laurel is dead, how can the scene make you feel nostalgic? Also, I understand why they would want her to be Laurel but at this point, it just makes the team look stupid. Because Felicity and Oliver had this conversation last season and I thought the point was made. Also, Oliver, the guy who couldn't commit to Laurel ever, wanted to marry Felicity so badly a) he asked her multiple times to marry him and b) he even agreed to not get married so he could be with her. It is just weird how much some people rant about Felicity and how they hate the romance when all they are is upset about not getting their preferred romance. I watched S2 while being sick last week and while it had flaws, it really was a good season. It had a flowing storyline that built throughout the season. I don't know why they can't go back to doing their show that way. It wasn't the biggest team, it wasn't the biggest bunker but it had a good storyline and a good villain. Maybe they should go back to that.
  17. Are EBR and SA mentioning it that much as well or is it more the rest of the group? Because I feel as though they don't put it that much on social media but I could be totally wrong.
  18. Maybe he does get it but is living in ignorance and bliss? Because Curtis hurt Diggle physically, Dinah hurt Quentin physically and Oliver had to defend himself against Rene who came at him with an axe. Should be fairly easy to make that connection.
  19. Can I just say that I am hoping the episode won't turn out as bad as the description made it sound because otherwise I might yell in a very frustrated manner at the TV when NTA is coming back to OTA. Probably doing them a favour and all on top of it.
  20. If it is true that the episode is Oliver lite: Who thought that after the seeing the NTA storyline that the show would profit from less Oliver? I do admit that the first time they did that in S3, I was intrigued and then actually surprised how I much the show needed his presence. The others, even though they tried, couldn't carry the show alone.
  21. Wouldn’t it be somewhat uncomfortable to work with someone after you acknowledged that you’d prefer their character to die. Maybe they don’t care or maybe he is super method. Also, promo is promo in the end but maybe RG isn’t the one I would have picked to do it. Well, maybe he is really good at it.
  22. That is a really f***ed up way to see a relationship. They hit each other and then they f***. How is what sounds like an abusive relationship better than having Oliver in a loving relationship? Then of course, some people consider Felicity to be abusive towards Oliver... Also it seems to me as though the guy seriously cannot let it go, even though MG said they wouldn't go there. And of course it isn't about comics, it is about Oliver and Dinah. Sure. Because they had so many meaningful scenes together since she is part of the show. Nothing to do with comics at all.
  23. He still left her at the end. He could have stayed in the hallucination but he didn't. The Susan relationship really felt like he was sleepwalking through it. I don't know but it felt as though SA really didn't care for this storyline. Also he didn't care for fans questioning this relationship and Susan's weird storyline altogether.
  24. I agree and to be honest I find that very hypocritical. You are unhappy with the show being too much about 'romance' when it is Oliver and Felicity. But your problem isn't with the romance, it is just the romantic partner that you feel is inadequate. Therefore even after the show established her as Oliver's wife, dialed down the romantic stuff that was the main source of the complaints, you are still not satisfied because at the end of the day you wanted to get your way and didn't and you can't let go.
