I would definitely love a sequel. I would go so far as to say it has franchise potential--I much preferred Affleck as Christian Wolff than Batman. I don't have many complaints but I did feel like it was kind of anti climatic given all that work she did, Marybeth never actually gets to meet The Accountant.

I see https://www.starz.com/series/29566 Quite fitting as Texas Rising could pass as a STARZ series. Would probably need a bit more nudity/sex scenes though. I'm wondering if this may mean Comanche Wars will be in production?

Even with that in mind, not everyone can just kill somebody/multiple people without weighing it on your brain. She's also still dealing with the hostage death so there's that. I think that situation makes her uncomfortable with killing, even if they're bad guys.

Watchable episode but not as good as the others. Glad to see Isaac redeeming himself (although its mostly self service, still).

Favorite episode of the season so far. Nadine is really the breakout character of the show.

Nadine is kind of bumbling, no? Maybe its more subtle in the show versus the movie, but she's made a lot of rookie mistakes. BTW don't hate me but Swagger and Memphis have chemistry. I liked their scenes together in 1x03 and 1x04.

I was worried I wouldn't like this episode because it seemed flashback heavy (seemed too early for that kind of episode) but it turned out great. Very consistent show.

There only going to cover the movie in the first season. They have the rest of the book series to adapt.

Deathstroke was already kind of ruined. The motivation was flawed and his one season 3 episode appearance was pointless The League of Assassins were brought in by Sara to fight the mirakuru super soldiers so it there were hundreds.

I remember looking forward to watching something in the summer. Hopefully the new premiere is soon. Late September/October?

Wow, interesting comments. I find Emily West and her actress to be the better, more enjoyable parts of the show. I love her accent. Most of my favorite scenes involve her in it (her prayer in episode 3, the scenes with Sam Houston in his tent in episode 1). I don't recall that stallion line, or any badly delivered line in general. The only thing I think is that her storyline with the botched vengeance plot in episode 4 was rather anti climatic after all that build up. They could have shown her putting up a fight instead of just running away.

Agreed. Not only that, it was far too anti climatic for such a big character (only character to appear in every season including the prequel besides Crixus). I did like that Gannicus did have a reaction. Some people thought Naevia holding on to her stomach hinted that she was pregnant. However Steven DeKnight denied this was the case.

Just a note: Netflix lists the prequel as "season two" (which means season two now appears as "season three" and season three as "season four").

Their overwhelmingly strong (and in my opinion, odd) preference for the previous actress is 99% of it. I wonder if Naevia2 played her from the get go, would there be so much hate? I'd imagine there'd be far less, because its not as if Naevia was much more than a background character in the first season anyway.

Pretty much. For what is an adult television show, its fandom is extremely immature. And Agron was totally checking out that gladiator in Blood and Sand. It certainly didn't come out of nowhere.

Lol was there anything they didn't complain about regarding Naevia? I remember rolling my eyes at that criticism. She clearly wasn't winning most of the fight. And like Green said, there was Kill Bill levels of blood spurting out of bodies and Gannicus fighting (and winning) several men blindfolded. People only suddenly care about realism when the character is female.
