too much frank doing pointless things is another problem i have with this show. he doesn't add anything to this show. I finally thought he would die last season, but no...the show couldn't do that! even reviews are now saying "we dont want so much damn frank..."

a confirmed script was online that clearly described them having sex and then climaxing together. in 5x01, ian kissed mickey on the cheek in front of his brothers.....but since then? nada.... I can see where they may not be affectionate in public, but that still doesnt explain why we see everyone having sexual relations (god even underage debbie and carl are having near sex scenes) except mickey and ian. it's just glaringly obvious they are treated differently than everyone else on the show.

5X11 and 5X12....basically what we've been dealing with since season 1...?

exactly this. I've seen speculations that the show does not want them being "too gay" because the gay community is not their target audience ...and that is okay. the problem is that the show knows they are a popular couple. they have even done promos with their couple name...given out t-shirts, etc with ian/mickey on it......yet, dont treat them like every other couple on the show in a way, it is also about sex. we constantly see other characters having sex in a normal sense that couples do. last time we saw Mickey and Ian get it on, Mickey was badly beaten by his dad. ugh if the show doesn't want to show affection between the two, then just break them up. otherwise, they are queer baiting

backhometome, do not get me started on the cut scene from 5X03. LMAO I think we need to just face the fact that Ian and Mickey went to a doctor and got fixed. i mean, i dont know how else to explain how they behave around each other. i do know that if Mickey calls Ian 'man' one more time, I may just break my TV

what occurred to me after last night was I just feel insulted by how they have Ian and Mickey being portrayed. they dont act like a couple. they act like friends. good friends. the only episode so far this season in which anyone could see they were a couple was episode 1. the show was recently nominated for a GLAAD award too. not sure why.

I've been reading comments elsewhere where people say debbie's rape and the way mandy left was the last straw. They are going to stop watching the show. I do think they could have handled Mandy's exit better. We didnt see her say goodbye to Ian. They've been friends since season 1, though they didnt interact at all last season. Apart from lip, they never seemed to know what to do with mandy. Maybe it is best that she is no longer a part of the show.

sammi is such a useless character frank is such a useless character GOD PLEASE.....can the writers just get rid of them both?!! seriously, if you are great at your craft, you can get rid of characters and still have a good show. Ian is spiraling quickly out of control. What annoys me is his family (in my opinion) need to tell Mickey that like it or not, Ian needs help. they should be more active about Ian getting help. Mickey clearly sees Ian is losing it. The revenge plot to the crazy church thing was weird. You expose one guy, fine...but everyone else is still going to protest.

THe priest is so stupid. I just want him to die already.

I dont care enough about eugene or abraham. Once again, I feel like my time was wasted. Come on show.

I understand falling in love, but i dont understand why that has seemed to change Glenn so damn drastically. He is nothing like season 1 Glenn.

I don't get some of the sanctimonious crap that goes on with some characters on this show. I exclaimed "Give me a break!" when the pastor said "this is God's house" This coming from the same man who left people outside the church to fend for themselves? He can't even defend himself. what did he want to happen? everyone to die? ugh
