The owner didn't seem to really want him back, and he said he cleaned out his savings....he also said he pulled some strings with contacts. Boarding a horse, depending on where he boards it, costs around 400-600 a month( at least where I live). We don't know what he lifestyle is to know whether that is sustainable or not. I know teachers that boards their horse and manage it just fine because thats the thing they do and spend money on.

CSI has always played fast and loose with technological accuracy..... I mean...we all know that cases aren't solved within 2-3 days....even in 2021 it takes months for most evidence to be processed. Also, I feel like they've definitely toned down the Folsom/Allie dynamic, and it comes across more like friendship. They must be getting some feedback from the dailies....and reviews and twitter. I kind of think too....that up till this episode, the scene with Anna Wix, Grissom wasn't really invested in being back. I think he came because a friend was attacked and because Sara asked him too....I mean he was giving it his undivided attention and wanted to help a friend, but now....after the Anna scene, he is 100% invested and now he' is itching for a fight.

When the CSIs are called to investigate human remains found in a convention center owner’s bathtub, Sara and Grissom use the case to get close to attorney Anson Wix’s star forensic expert witness, just days before David Hodges’ trial begins.

With each passing episodes....I'm liking Folsom more and more...and Allie less and less. At this point I wouldn't be fussed if there was a s2, and she didn't comeback.

I really enjoyed this episode....I think the scene where they arrested the son was over the top....but other than that. I think the: Where have you been? remark is going to get Grissom thinking that its time to step off the boat and join the world again.

I don't trust her.

I think COVID is holding them back quite a bit. I imagine as soon as protocols life, if there is a s2, we will see Penny and Chris upgraded to series regulars and it start to feel more like the old CSI.

They didn't get DNA off it....they said they hand real proof that Wix did it, they only know that he was at the scene.

I could see Anson Wix working for someone hoping to get millions....but I feel like its someone else's long game that is out for revenge...and probably Anson and Martin were only recently brought on.

It seems to easy to me. Its also relaying on a network of people trusting each other for over a DECADE, hoping their long game paid off so they might get millions.....I don't buy it.

Creepy clowns aside. I thouroughly enjoyed this episode.

An abandoned horse covered in blood leads the CSI team to a halfway house for convicted murderers. Also, Grissom and Sara begin to circle their prime suspect in the David Hodges case.

Definitely the best ep so far. I really liked Folsom in this ep.

That is a question I don't think we will get an answer to, but most likely like they cut it last minute for time. Its the second GSR moment to be cut out, makes me think something big is coming....but its likely wishful thinking.

He ran DNA after Wendy left, who he dated for a while, but then Henry took over DNA.

I don't know, to be honest. Someone told pointed out that we should know who that PO was, but honestly I don't remember.

Best episode so far. I think they are finally hitting their stride.

Do you all think Grissom actually has Mal De Debarkment Syndrome, or something else is going on. I'm thinking that they are laying down the ground work for the Grissom's to return to Vegas as residents. I know JF has agreed to return for s2, if there is one.

The only problem is, is that he said he hoped it would go away...which would indicate that it was happening since he got off the boat...so for about 2 weeks.

Is it just me, or does it seem like their is no hierarchy this season either. I mean when the OG show started, Grissom was supervisor of nights, Catherine was assist. Supervisor, then you had Nick, Sara, and Warrick. Now we have Max who seems to be the director who is working scenes though her background was as a lab tech not a field tech, and then Folsom and Allie...and occasionally Chris?

I'm hoping we will find out, we still have 7 episodes to go.

Im kind of wondering if it is MDDS, or something else and he thinks it is. If it really is, plus getting his boat evicted from where it was docked because it has termites....makes me think Grissom is going to have to decide whether or not its time to give up his sea fairing life.

My little GSR shipper heart was so happy with this episode.
