  1. This is the interesting part: "... Everyone else feels like if they are anything less than positive or accepting of the men's relationship they'll appear homophobic, whereas if the men had had 20 year affairs with other women, the children wouldn't be asked to join them for dinner and be happy for them..." That's a double standard. In real life, when a married man cheats with a woman, the woman is called all sorts of names: whore, skank, husband-stealer, golddigger. Back in the old days these women were called homewreckers. Just look at one current scandal, where Ben Affleck is being accused of cheating with his children's nanny. Everybody is denigrating the nanny, and calling Ben names too. But when a man married to a woman is secretly gay, he cheats with a man, and then leaves his wife for the man, all of a sudden the public attitude is supposed to change. We're supposed to celebrate the cheating husband because "he's being true to himself" and "he came out of the closet." The abandoned wife is supposed to grin and bear it. Furthermore, no one criticizes the man the husband cheated with (the cheatee?) or calls him skank, husband-stealer, or anything negative like that. I think cheating is cheating, regardless of your sexual orientation, and it's wrong no matter who does it or why they did it. They violated their partner's trust, and possibly also exposed their innocent partners to STDs. If married people -- straight, gay, bi or trans -- want to seek sex outside the marriage, they should get a divorce first. The "cheatees" should be equally subject to criticism for participating in the adultery, regardless of their gender or orientation. No one should be called "phobic" for criticizing a cheater/cheatee. Well, does any of this apply to Cait and Kris Jenner? Probably not, if we are only talking about cheating. Although there are many rumors that Kris cheated when she was married to Robert Kardashian, I haven't heard rumors that she cheated while married to Jenner, or that Cait cheated on any of the three wives. My point is that if we're going to judge people for their actions, no person should be exempt from criticism because of their gender or orientation.
  2. Bwahaha! Kris and the K-Klan are doing damage control as hard as they can. Deny, deny, deny! Jeez, everybody already knew Kylie has her own Mercedes SUV. Why would she suddenly need to "borrow" Tyga's Merc to drive to the party?
  3. Update: That was a used Mercedes Tyga gave Kylie. Previously he had given the car to Blac Chyna. How tacky, moving the same car from one girlfriend to another. He could have at least traded the car in and gotten Kylie something his previous squeeze hadn't driven. http://www.tmz.com/2015/08/08/tyga-kylie-jenner-birthday-present-g-wagon-blac-chyna-regift/ "Tyga: Happy Birthday Kylie! Hope You Like the SUV as Much as Blac Chyna!" Aug 8, 2015, 3 minutes ago BY TMZ STAFF TMZ identified the car from the license plate number, shown (partially blurred) in a photo with Blac Chyna. They said Tyga got the car back from Chyna, had it repainted red, picked it up on Friday and gave it to Kylie the same day. What puzzles me is that TMZ said Tyga was the registered owner of the car at the time Chyna was using it. So he just loaned it to her for free? This time, did he actually transfer the title to Kylie, which he should have done if this was really a gift? Or is this another loan, and Tyga will take the car back from Kylie when he gets tired of her and wants to give the car to a new girlfriend?
  4. http://www.tmz.com/2015/08/07/kim-kardashian-selfie-hollywood-fundraiser-hillary-clinton/ "Kim Kardashian: I Scored the Only Selfie With Hillary!" 8/7/2015 9:16 AM PDT BY TMZ STAFF GAAAAHHHHH! That damn Kim is even infiltrating the presidential elections! Does she have to be every damn where? (What is she going to do next, take a selfie at the United Nations with Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon? Oh wait, hope I didn't give her any ideas!) Hillary's security team had a "no selfies" policy, but Hillary made an exception for Kim. Some other websites are claiming that the Kim/Hillary selfie was prearranged publicity, not spontaneous. Kayne stuck his head in the selfie too, wearing his usual sour expression. PimpMomma Kris had her picture made with Hillary Clinton too, although that was a posed photo, not a selfie. Edited to add: Hey, I think I've figured out Kim's little plan. She wants Hillary to win the election, and then she wants Hillary to appoint her as U.S. Ambassador to Armenia. (The current Ambassador is Richard Mills.) Just joking here --- or am I? Kim is able to get things I never imagined a person like her could get.
  5. http://www.tmz.com/2015/08/08/kylie-jenner-birthday-car-tyga-kardashian-caitlyn-kris-dinner/ "Kylie Jenner: Thanks, Tyga For My Birthday Whip!!!" 8/8/2015 6:55 AM PDT BY TMZ STAFF TMZ reports that Tyga bought Kylie a $115,000 Mercedes G-Wagon for her birthday. Didn't he also just buy her a watch worth $30K, or some absurd amount like that, for her birthday? Where is he getting all this money? Some people in the comments on various tabloids suspect that the Kardashians leased this car for Kylie and are just making up a story for the tabloids about Tyga buying it. Also on TMZ and many other sites, first selfie picture of Kris and Caitlyn together (at Kylie's birthday dinner). Of course Kim had to stick her duckface in it too. Why was Kris wearing sunglasses? http://www.tmz.com/2015/08/07/kim-kris-caitlyn-instagram-kim-kardashian-jenner-kylie/ "Caitlyn Jenner: 1st Public Reunion With Ex-Wife #3" 8/7/2015 9:50 PM PDT BY TMZ STAFF
  6. They're naming him Easton? ** rolling eyes** Is that true, or is Daily Mail pranking us? Or maybe Kim and Kayne are pranking the Daily Mail?
  7. Just curious: Has Caitlyn legally changed her name from Bruce Jenner to Caitlyn Jenner yet? Seems that if she had, the tabloids would have picked up the news. I think court documents on name changes are available to the public, although I could be mistaken about that. http://www.courts.ca.gov/1054.htm#acc2235 This page says that in California you can just start using a new name and it will be legally your name, but it says you still need a court order to change it on government-issued ID documents. Yeah, I would think that Homeland Security requires you to prove that the name you use is your legal name. They are putting all of us (in every state) through that now to renew our driver's licenses. We have to provide birth certificates and other documents, even if we've had a driver's license for 50 years under the same name. From the FAQ page linked above: "Q: Can I just change my name by using my new name (by the 'usage method'), without going to court? "A: In California, you have the common law right to change your name by the 'usage method.' This means that you simply pick a new name and start using it consistently in all parts of your life. There are exceptions to changing your name by the 'usage method' -- it cannot be used by people who are in state prison, on probation, on parole, or been a convicted sex offender. And it cannot be used to change a minor's name. "BUT, government regulations created to fight against identity theft, fraud and terrorism are making it almost impossible to have a new name without official documentation. So, practically speaking, government agencies like the DMV or Social Security Administration and most institutions (like banks) require a court order to change your name. And you will also need a court order to get a new birth certificate or a passport in your new name. "For this reason, it is much more common to file for a court order changing your name. With that court order, called a Decree, you will be able to change your government-issued identifications and prove to any institution that your new name is your legal name." This is what it says about changing your legal name and your gender: "Q: What should I do if I want to change my name AND my gender at the same time? "A: If you want to legally change your name AND your gender, there is a separate court process and forms for doing that. Read the information and instructions to change your name and gender. If you just want to change your name for now and intend to change your gender later, continue with the instructions in the section for changing your name. Later on, if you want to change your gender, red the information and instructions to change your gender only." "Q: What should I do if I want to change my gender only? "A: If you want to change your gender, read the information and instructions to change your gender only. http://www.courts.ca.gov/25797.htm How-to Guide to Changing Your Name AND Gender "Important! You do not need a court ordered gender change to change your California driver's license, social security card, or U.S. passport. You also no longer need a court order to have a new birth certificate issued reflecting a change of gender (for California birth records). You may want to get a court ordered gender change to amend your birth certificate if you were born outside of California. Find out more at ID Please - A guide to Changing California and Federal Identity Documents to Match Your Gender Identity or get help from the resources listed under "Related Information" on the Gender Change home page. You DO need a court order for a change of name. If you need to change your name AND gender, you can follow the instructions below, or you can instead change your gender with the State Registrar (without a court order) and separately get a court order for a name change only. To do that, visit our name change section. Generally, to get a court order changing your name AND gender, follow these steps:..." There is a long list of steps to follow. One is: "Have your doctor fill out an affidavit telling the court that you have undergone clinically appropriate treatment for change of gender." This is all very interesting. I didn't know California had a common law right that allowed people to just pick a new name and start using it. I assume Caitlyn's lawyer has informed her about the need for a court order to change the government-issued IDs.
  8. What do I wish Caitlyn would do? 1. Accept responsibility for causing the death of Kim Howe in the car accident, and express remorse. Accept responsibility for the serious injuries caused to another driver injured in the crash, Jessica Marie Steindorff (who has just filed a personal injury lawsuit against Jenner). I realize that Caitlyn's lawyer probably advised her not to say anything in order to avoid accepting liability, but still, Kim Howe is dead. To me, this is infinitely more serious than Caitlyn's desire to come out as a transgender woman and get tons of publicity and awards. So Caitlyn got the (pre-arranged?) ESPY award for "bravery" in coming out as a woman. I think it would have been far more brave of Caitlyn to accept responsibility for causing Howe's death and causing serious injury to Steindorff by her negligence. I also think that Caitlyn should have delayed the broadcast of the "I Am Cait" series out of respect for the deceased. But Caitlyn continues to seek more publicity (most recently promoting herself for the Teen Choice Award, ugh!) and is being feted all over the media. Kim Howe has been mostly forgotten, and her tragic death pushed aside by the glitter and glamor of "Look at me, then please give me another award!" Caitlyn. 2. Be more private with the adjustment to the transition. I just can't see how anyone going through something so serious would want to broadcast so many the personal details all over TV and the Internet, especially pressuring family members to show their own reactions and feelings in this public manner too. However, I guess this is just how the Kardashian-Jenner clan does things. They are all fame whores, and they are all always on the lookout for a paycheck. Looking ahead, where will Caitlyn be in five years? I doubt that "I Am Cait" will still be on the air in 2020. Does Cait expect to stay at the top of the news cycle that long? Keep winning awards for this-that-and-the-other? Have more plastic surgery for a face and body that will then be 70 years old?
  9. Radar says Caitlyn is being paid $5 million for the "I Am Cait series." http://radaronline.com/celebrity-news/caitlyn-jenner-reality-show-ratings-plunge-i-am-cait-lose-half-audience-first-to-second-episode/ "... As Radar previously reported, Jenner garnered a whopping $5 million paycheck for the series and has been disappointed at the declining numbers for her show..." I don't remember seeing the $5 million figure before, but I don't read Radar very often so I might have just missed the story.
  10. http://www.prphotos.com/e/36883/kim-kardashian-sighted-at-lax-airport-on-august-3-2015 Well, the pictures from August 3, Kim at LAX, show her going back to her previous pregnancy style: sausage-skin-tight clothes and stiletto heels, plus a tight leather crop jacket (in August!). She looked God-awful during her first pregnancy because she insisted on stuffing herself into tight clothes. Remember the photos of her feet swelling in the high heel shoes? Looks like she didn't learn anything from experience. People are going to make fun of her all through this pregnancy too, and she still won't understand why.
  11. I can see why the audience tanked. People watched the first show out of curiosity. I think the debut show came across as somewhat artifcial and scripted, like most of the so-called reality shows (especially the Fakey McFake Kardashian shows). Nobody did or said anything spontaneous. There wasn't even anything new about seeing Caitlyn in makeup and women's fashions. Everybody had already seen her like that in Vanity Fair, the awards show and various tabloid articles. Thus, many viewers didn't bother to watch the second show. The audience might shrink further next week. The second show was too slow-paced, and it got boring. They could have edited out half of the road trip. They could also have edited out a lot of the footage at Caitlyn's vacation home (or whatever that place was where she was carelessly littering the mountainside with golf balls). Time was wasted showing them fussing over who would sleep where in the main house and the guest house. Time was wasted showing them chit-chatting in the hot tub. Time was wasted showing them raising their wine glasses every few minutes in the bus and at the houses. Time was wasted showing the veggies and cheese slices on the plates. The show had just started to get interesting during the discussion at the center, where the transgender women were talking about job discrimination, having to do sex work as a last resort, and how hard it was for a person of Caitlyn's wealth and social status to understand their struggles. So of course that got cut off, and then it was bye-bye, tune in next week.
  12. Speaking of this "microagression," a term I never heard before: as a straight woman, I despise the term "cis" to describe people like me. I cringed when Caitlyn called the assistants "our cis girls." If transgender people can make demands as to what words we use to describe them, why doesn't that work both ways? Why can't straight people demand that we not be called "cis"? If we are going to start throwing the term "microaggression" around, then I think it's microaggression to call anybody "cis."
  13. The butt cream company, PureLeef, is claiming they didn't pay Kylie for endorsing their product. They insist she did it on her own. Yeah, sure. http://www.tmz.com/2015/08/02/kylie-jenner-pureleef-butt-breast-enhancement-cream/ TMZ, August 2, 2015, "Kylie Jenner: Butt Cream Company ... Back Off, We Didn't Pay Kylie" 8/2/2015 12:50 AM PDT BY TMZ STAFF "PureLeef, the body plumping cream company that got a huge lift from Kylie Jenner, claims she did it all on her own, for free... the company insists the endorsement was unsolicited. They say they didn't pay Kylie, but they don't say if any money went to anyone else Kardashian related... It's interesting ... the company is big on parental controls, saying they urge parents to get involved if the user is under 18. It's unclear if this is an endorsement or a shot at Kris." Okay, here's the key: "They say they didn't pay Kylie, but they don't say if any money went to anyone else Kardashian related." We know Kris is the "momager" for her kids and arranges the bookings for her minor child Kylie, so the payment might have been made to Kris. Also, I've heard that each of the girls has several companies they set up (for tax purposes), so their payment for gigs goes to those companies instead of directly to them. For example, Kylie probably has a company set up for the sale of her line of hair extensions. Kendall and Kylie probably have a company set up to sell their shoe line, and maybe a separate company for their clothing line. As far as Kylie's endorsement of the cream being "unsolicited," yeah, that could be true, but it could just mean Kris or Kylie contacted the PureLeef company and made them an offer: "Kyle will endorse your cream for $----." No Kardashian/Jenner does any endorsement without a paycheck, so I feel sure that Kylie got paid, either through Kris or through one of her companies.
  14. That's what I thought, and according to Radar, that's exactly what happened. http://radaronline.com/celebrity-news/kris-jenner-caitlyn-jenner-feud-reunion-filmed-reality-show-i-am-cait/ Saving Face? Kris Jenner’s First Meeting With Caitlyn Was Filmed For ‘I Am Cait’ — Inside The ‘Emotional ‘ Shoot Posted on Jul 31, 2015 @ 11:54AM ... RadarOnline.com has learned Kris didn’t do it just to meet Caitlyn face-to-face, but to save her own! The Keeping Up with the Kardashians momager allowed the meeting to be filmed for I Am Cait in the hopes of giving herself a PR boost. “Never wanting to miss an opportunity to further advance her public image, Kris knew it would be a good thing to have the reunion with Caitlyn filmed,” an insider said. “They were both in full hair and make-up, and dressed very fashionably.” ...
  15. I remember that! I guess these hucksters start over with every new generation, figuring the young ones won't know any better. Well, except for Kylie. She knows what she really did to get her big boobs, as well as her big lips and big butt.
  16. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/tvshowbiz/article-3179487/Caitlyn-Jenner-wows-chic-black-jumpsuit-stilettos-steps-dinner-Eva-Longoria-s-restaurant-Beso.html Plastic surgery nightmare: scroll down and look at the photo of Caitlyn from the waist up. This photo is unretouched. You can see quite a few wrinkles and saggy spots on the face and neck, despite all the surgery and heavy makeup. It makes me understand what a huge difference Photoshop can make, and how the camera crew used a lot of lens filters to make her look pretty on the I Am Cait show. Of course, the whole Kardashian-Jenner family is devoted to plastic surgery, various non-surgical cosmetic procedures and, most of all, Photoshop. They must spend hours every day photoshopping their selfies. Instead of endorsing plumping creams, energy drinks and morning sickness pills, they should just get a contract with Adobe and endorse Photoshop.
  17. http://www.tmz.com/2015/07/29/caitlyn-jenner-kris-jenner-first-meeting-transformation-malibu-house/ "Caitlyn and Kris: let's talk girl to girl" [story published on July 29. Caption on photo of Kris' car says July 28.] TMZ says Kris went to visit Caitlyn at the Malibu house for a heart-to-heart talk. "Kris' car was spotted leaving Caitlyn's Malibu home after their meeting ... their first meeting since the transformation. Sources connected to the former couple tell us, Kris had not met Caitlyn... Our sources say they talked out some of their issues and it went well. We're told it got very personal ... as you know, there are multiple versions of what Kris knew and when she knew it... As for the future, at least from Kris' side ... she's hopeful this is a fresh beginning..." Kris gives/sells stories to TMZ practically every day, so I'm willing to bet she herself was the source. Also willing to bet both Kris and Caitlyn wanted cameras at this meeting, so they could use the footage for their respective reality shows and interviews. I'm not so sure Kris is hopeful for "a fresh beginning." I think she's just hoping to make a lot of money off Caitlyn's transition. She never does anything without some financial incentive. Between the time her feet hit the floor in the morning and the time she finishes her breakfast, she's probably gone over a dozen spreadsheets detailing how much revenue the various Kardashian/Jenner enterprises, bookings and media coverage will bring in that day. There must be a big nasty negative red balance on the spreadsheet for revenue she had anticipated for telling the media all about how she's suffered, being the bewildered, naïve, traumatized wife of a surprise transgender husband. Gotta fill in some numbers there and get in the black. If Kris "cries all day," as Kim said, it would be because she hasn't figured out how to make the money yet. She might have made a little "Caitlyn Cash" already. Somebody on another forum (or another thread here? Can't remember where) pointed out that Kris is the business manager for her kids, so she would have gotten her cut from any payment Kim and Kylie got for appearing on "I Am Cait" last Sunday.
  18. Yep. I can't think of anything useful to society the K girls have done, except that Kim and Khloe have/had interracial marriages. That may have helped reduce prejudice against such unions. However, interracial relationships are old news -- they are pretty widely accepted now. Transgender is a relatively fresh, hot and controversial issue.
  19. How do we know that we won't see Caitlyn going from Point A to Point B? She might have had someone filming during the series of plastic surgeries and other treatments, with the intention of showing clips on her future reality show. Yes, I think she was planning this show for a long time, at least a year. I'm still amazed that Cailtyn was able to stomp all over the world-famous Kardashians in terms of getting media coverage. It's like the dark horse coming out of nowhere to win the Triple Crown. I can't think of anything the K girls could do to top this. Caitlyn is still as competitive as she was in 1976, and she just won again.
  20. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/tvshowbiz/article-3178117/Kim-Kardashian-puts-baby-bump-cleavage-display-squeezes-skintight-dress.html Well I've never seen this before! Kim is frowning in this set of DM photos. She actually has the "11" lines between her eyebrows. What happened? Did she give up Botox for her pregnancy? She looked quite angry. Mad at the paps? Mad at those super-high heel shoes that must have been killing her feet? Or were her Spanx riding up? http://www.dailymail.co.uk/tvshowbiz/article-3178116/Kim-Kardashian-channels-female-icons-centuries-new-commercial-Hype-Energy-drink.html DM also has a set of photos from Kim's new energy drink commercial. She's wigged, made up and dressed as Audrey Hepburn and Marie Antoinette, also as a character in a futuristic sci-fi space movie. The Audrey and Marie photos are pretty ridiculous because she has no resemblance to either of them. (Sorry I didn't include a photo because I have trouble getting the photo posting thing to work on this forum.) For Audrey, they dressed Kim in a black turtleneck and black slacks, and put a wig on her with bangs and a ponytail. They showed her riding a bicycle. Remember how Audrey Hepburn looked? Tall, slender, small bust, small butt. Nothing whatsoever like short, dumpy Kim with her huge breasts and gigantic butt. There is no likeness in the facial features either. As Marie Antoinette, Kim looked like Lady Gaga in one of her stage getups, just weird. High powdered wig, eyelashes and eyebrows powdered white, face powdered white, lips pale pink. In historic paintings of Marie wearing her white wig,, she did not have her eyebrows and eyelashes powdered white; they were dark. So I can't figure out why the makeup artist wanted to make Kim look like an albino. The space girl look worked better because they weren't trying to make Kim look like any specific person.
  21. IMHO, I don't think it's a "mistake" to use the name Bruce and the male pronouns when talking about something Bruce did before he transitioned to Caitlyn. For example, it makes no sense to say "Caitlyn Jenner won the gold medal when she competed on the U.S. men's decathlon team in the 1976 Olympics." A woman could not have been on the men's team. We can't rewrite history or change facts just to be politically correct. So I think what Esther said on the show last night was perfectly acceptable: "I was so proud of Bruce when he stood on that podium receiving that gold medal in Montreal." We don't know what the Olympics authorities will decide to do in the future about which teams a transgender person can join. But in 1976 those were the rules: you had to be male to compete on the men's teams, and you had to be female to compete on the women's teams. Of course there were always suspicions that the Russian and Eastern European teams secretly sneaked hormone-treated men onto their women's teams, but that's a separate topic. Back to the "I Am Cait" show topic: the first "I Am Cait" show wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. I was glad they devoted a long segment to the late Kyler, and it was nice of Caitlyn to go to the balloon release memorial event. The one thing that really made me mad was that they had Kylie (allegedly) meeting Caitlyn for the first time on the show. If true, that was an exploitative and mean thing for the producers and Caitlyn to do to Kylie. But knowing how the Kardashian clan invents storylines and has scripts for their shows, I think Kylie had already met Caitlyn in private and agreed to the storyline of meeting him for the first time on camera to add drama to the show. I was distracted from listening to what Caitlyn was saying every time they did a closeup of her face. Wow, that was an aggressive facelift. Her eyebrows are pulled up on the edges, the "cat eye" look you see on many older women with facelifts. The nose job was pretty extreme too. The new nose looks too small and delicate for a person who is 6'2" tall and has big hands and feet. Sorry to sound trivial, but it did distract me.
  22. She could do IVF and keep the sperm donor name secret. I am so cynical about that family that I wouldn't be surprised if they planned for Khloe to have IVF and then do a long drawn-out storyline on the show: "who's the daddy?" She'd finally reveal his name during ratings sweeps week.
  23. Isn't that incredible? Ordinary twitter users have been asking for an edit feature for a long time, and twitter management didn't care and ignored their requests. But let the famous Kim ask, and all of a sudden the CEO himself answers and says he might do it! If the twitter CEO does give everybody an edit feature because of Kim's complaint, I'll have to admit that is very one good thing Kim accomplished.
  24. Right, those pictures were all photoshopped. People in the industry have said many times that 100% of magazine photos are photoshopped. In her true natural state, she'd have the dark circles and more shadows and contours on her face. The face looks very flat due to the photo manipulation. I agree that she looks good with minimal makeup.
  25. LMAO! You just made me snort tea all over my keyboard. I'm a woman Caitlyn's age, and a magazine editor would have to throw a Brinks truck full of $100 bills at me to convince me to pose in my underwear. Whoever said Jenner wants to be a "Kardashian girl," I think that's absolutely correct. Caitlyn seems more interested in TransGlam than transgender. It's all about her hair, makeup, clothes and shoes, i.e. the Glam Squad, and being photographed by the paps while she walks around going to lunch or attending events. It's the Kardashian Ho Stroll all over again. I hope Caitlyn does not become so much of a Kardashian girl that she starts posing nude like the rest of them. I don't want to see a Caitlyn version of Kim's Paper magazine photo shoot, where she stood giggling and naked in a black garbage bag. You know, the picture where they said "Kim broke the Internet." Please, Caitlyn, don't try to break the Internet. Let Kim have it. I too am waiting for Caitlyn to take some solid action to help the transgender community, like lobbying the state legislature or Congress. But all I see so far is the glamour and fame part.
