  1. The comments about the ClearCaptions commercial reminded me...I found out recently that the woman in that commercial is the actress who played Sissy on the '60s sitcom Family Affair! Talk about feeling old...
  2. I didn't even know there was an extended version of the Macy's Christmas commercial...have only seen the 2 shorter versions on TV. I was in my local Macys store yesterday and they were playing this version. It stopped me in my tracks!
  3. I could have sworn that during the previews, they showed a "Most Fake Couple" award, but that award was never presented, was it? I have often wondered how they could prevent a couple from agreeing early on to "fake it" in order to hopefully win the money...especially since $50,000 each would seem to be a lot of money for most of these people, many of which don't really seem to have real jobs. Somehow I don't think the 0 for 3 seasons with respect to the number of couples that are still together outside the villa is in danger of being broken this season...
  4. Disappointed to read about the cancellation. It took a few episodes, but I grew to like this show and was looking forward to seeing what they would do with these characters in a second season.
  5. I laughed at this comment...had not seen "migraine mommy" for a while and then it reappeared the other night. Even though I live alone, I still said out loud "Oh, no...she's back"! Not sure why that commercial has always bugged me...I think it might be mommy's over-the-top acting. Like most commercials seem to do nowadays, it has been modified from a 1 minute ad to a 30 second one, so some scenes have been deleted. Speaking of which, just saw the modified ad for Liberty Mutual where the 2 boys are opening their Christmas presents...and they completely cut out the kid whining about getting a bike!
  6. But if Chloe wasn't on the show, who would gather all the gossip and then relay it (with embellishment) to the appropriate people in order to create "drama"?!? Not that I ever really liked her to begin with, but I really started to dislike her earlier in the season when Juliette was trying to apologize to her and Chloe, referring to their fight, said something like "well, it's really hard to get past the physical part of it..." This coming from the girl who at the beginning of this season was practically joined at the hip to the girl (Amanda) who punched her in the face! Poor Garrett...ever since Cara up and left, he has pretty much been delegated to the "friend of" role. I'm not sure he was even in last week's episode and then this week, he gets a 30 second clip with Jared just so we can get the background on Jared's previous marriage/divorce. Was Garrett even at the pool party? And I really hope that Madisson didn't pay too much for those acting lessons that she supposedly took in LA...her "emoting" scenes are downright cringe-worthy.
  7. I think that the 2nd season was announced pretty soon after this season premiered: https://variety.com/2019/tv/news/the-hills-new-beginnings-renewed-season-2-mtv-1203275463/
  8. I thought Florence and Jess killed the bald guy...wasn't he the one that Flo shot in the face? It didn't seem like we really got a good look at the one that Todd killed...
  9. So there were 4 hunters who entered the house, but weren't there 5 deaths? Who did Todd set on fire?
  10. Are you sure you were watching Episode 1 of Season 3? It was titled "The Killing" and Baz was prominently featured in the first 15 minutes or so, with the aftermath of him being rushed to the hospital. It was announced sometime last year that Scott Speedman was leaving the show to join the cast of "Grey's Anatomy".
  11. When I first saw this Subaru commercial, I yelled out "Rusty!", because the actor in it played one of the main characters in the TV show "Greek", which was on from 2007-2011. And I don't think I had seen him in anything since that show went off the air. There is a much longer version of this commercial linked on the actor's (Jacob Zachar) imdb.com page.
  12. Actually, I'll bet this is what Trace did: (Under the "Academics" tab on the Clown College homepage, there is a section entitled "Knoxville School of the Bible" and classes are held at CC; classes are only $25 each or $60 if you take all 3 classes each semester!) 13. I think I read that they are eliminating Fall Harvest so that they can start their Countdown to Christmas on Columbus Day this year...and then I believe in 2017, the Christmas movies will start on Labor Day weekend!
  14. So what's with all the uncertainty about how many people will show up to the wedding? The bride says 500, Kelly Jo says 600-800 and Gil guesses 1000. Did they not send out invitations requesting RSVP like most people do? Maybe they just went around town posting flyers or took out out an ad in the local newspaper! Erin's baby seems very lethargic in these first couple of episodes of the new season...seems like most scenes he is lying flat on his stomach in Erin's lap while she rubs his back...is that indicative of something?
  15. I think it is really strange that Pivot does not replay the episode at least once during the week for those that might miss the Friday night 10pm airing. And this show is not available On Demand? It seems as though Pivot really doesn't have much interest in promoting this series, which is a shame.
