Close to tapping out on this because it keeps putting me to sleep when I watch it. I may give it 1 more episode but, unless it was subtley discussed during a naplet, I still don't quite understand the crux of the series.

I don't know if it's because I've never heard of any of these chefs before but they don't seem very Iron Chef worthy at all.

And now Elizabeth has racked up 8 kills in 5 episodes. Anyone have a guess how high the body count will end up in this 10-episode final season? I think double digits is a guarantee but can she make it to 20? Does getting Paige or Philip or Henry somehow killed by accident count for more than 1?

Well they didn't wait til the end of this episode for Elizabeth to tally some kills ... and she put 3 down this week. That makes 6 over 4 episodes this season. She's on a torrid pace!

I thought this was the best episode yet - the birthday dinner scene was hilarious! It had such good lines, especially when, I think Helena, asked what the "Count" was doing there and Eleanor mumbled under her breath, "your mother, apparently" ... or something to that effect. I also loved the birthday present of Prince Hansel and Gunther and how happy it made Helena.

It hasn't been mentioned but that was supremely cruel what they did to Shanice. The girl makes it all the way to the end of the competition and gets cut before even getting to walk in the runway show?!? Yes, I know she got to walk but wasn't evaluated as part of the final group. She got dressed up and was ready for the photo shoot and then they cut her. That was cold!!!

This show ... Hannah Wells is in the middle of yet another situation that is preposterous. I'm waiting for them to have another episode with the astronaut on the space station so then can send Hannah into space to save the day. Then, I'm sorry but super tech Chuck is not a GS-15. I work for the federal government and GS-15 positions are either super-high level management positions or world-renowned experts in their technical field. While Chuck is a good, even great, at his job he is neither of those.

It's one thing to have a nanny watch the kids when you're working but for Bernadette to sit there gabbing in the living room while Stewart takes her kids on a walk to the park well, that's just wrong. It's called bonding with your child.

Eleanor has made amazing strides since season one. I love when she interacts with normal people like that girl in the hospital. They may dress Eleanor totally unrealistically for a princess, but the actress herself just bleeds empathy for others that shows in every scene. I'm on board with your prediction. I absolutely adore Eleanor and love the character growth that she's gone through. Alexandra Park is perfect for the role!

I was absolutely gobsmacked when they kept Shanice over Rio. This had to been one of the more shocking eliminations that I've seen here.
Mrs. AAEBoiler said it best when she said that this just was a wasted episode based on last week's episode. Last week, Rio and Jeana were on the bottom and then sent Jeana home. This week, it was, essentially, Rio & Jeana on the bottom and they sent Rio home.
I have to give ANTM a bit of a hand though because while they're not the first (unless they were) to give a second chance to an elminated contestant, this is the first time that I've seen a reality show have the "returner" replace someone with no chance of returning themselves. Ultimately, Rio got screwed!
I'm hoping for a Khrystyana & Kyla 1-2 finish but I wouldn't be upset if Kyla edged Khrystyana.

Not to mention the fact that, similar to Hannah Wells being the only FBI agent on the eastern seaboard, Chuck apparently is the only IT guy in the Washington-Baltimore Metropolitan Area and gets called into the White House to hack someone's phone records.
Also, I'm really annoyed that Aaron, who has the title of National Security Advisor, always seems to be walking around during business hours sans tie and with several buttons unbuttoned. It just looks wrong and, I would imagine, totally contrary to the typical dress code of DC higher-ups and staffers.

A guaranteed laugh from me is when you throw in the stock footage of the old ladies clapping from Monty Python! Well done!
(Also, I happened to watch a repeat of a "Viewers Mail" episode where they used the "old ladies" clip again during the "British Version" of Family Guy segment. I laughed then too.)

This was definitely the best episode to date! It's all starting to make sense it's just too bad it took 7 episodes for me to get a feel for what is happening. Or, I'm just becoming a bit dim-witted in my dotage.
