I really wish that they didn't have Pat with a son as he's so annoying and adds nothing to the plot. He's quickly turning into the brother (played by a young Seth Green) from "Can't Buy Me Love" ... which is a totally underrated teen movie from the past!

I've been catching some Season 1 episodes on repeat and they are soooo much better as they lack the permasmile and over the top twee-ness that this current season is drowning in. Dial it back a bit Molly!

Wait, there was a new one released? Did I miss something?

It was very jarring switching between the middle parted long hair to the pony-tailed look. It was almost like ht episode was hosted by a different person. Weird.

Also Andrew Leeds as David because I can't see him as anything but the evil Pelant who tried to frame and kill Bones & Booth multiple times. Very hard to look past the former character and see him as "nice guy" now.
I agree 110%! It's very distracting when he's on screen because i keep expecting him to break into an evil monologue. It must be hard for an actor to break that image that has become ingrained in some of the audience.

I kind of thought we’d find out he had actually killed his brother.
I was always thinking that we'd find out that he was really Adam and that John was the one who died.

I'm loving this version of the show too. I think Josh has quite a knack as an interviewer!

I loved that Louise thanked Bob and have him a hug. I can relate as that's as much as I get anymore from my youngest who's in High School now. I cherish every single one. Sniff.

It shows their utter lack of faith in the Josh show that they awkwardly shoe-horn it into Deadliest Catch, going so far as to run it inside both hours of the material we want to see. My guess is advertisers were willing to pay for DC and not the Phil Harris Memorial Grift-acular, so they call it DC and cash the checks.
Mrs. AAEBoiler and I are completely baffled by the "Josh Harris Show". He talks about this map like he is literally finding treasure (doubloons, gold ingots, etc.) when his dad was probably just writing down where he found fish 30 FREAKING YEARS AGO!!! I totally don't understand all the drama and suspense. Yet, I continue to hate-watch it. I guess I'm a sucker.

They really frontloaded all the chefs with delicious products - I was worried they'd have a hard time choosing but then the clunkers came all in a row. My only other comment is that Malarkey is absolutely exhausting!

Today's coronary quarantine wasn't too bad as it was refreshing to see an unpolished episode. However, an aerial (drone?) shot of the "ranch house" showing how enormous it really is sure dispels the myth of what a humble rancher's wife she is.

I absolutely loved this episode and adore FitzSimmons! I would say this was my favorite episode ever but it's been so long since I've seen previous seasons that I'm sure I'm forgetting some good ones.

Over two seasons of alien abductions, crash site investigations, and military cover ups I think the most unbelievable thing in this series is the fact that Dr. Hynek regularly sports a very sloppy, unshaven face for an academic in the 1950's. Even the hillbilly yokels they often meet look better off than him.

The Eliot and Alice songs is one of my all-time favs by Peter Gabriel and Kate Bush.
Thank you!!! I was wondering where that song was from!

Batty was indeed batty.
I laughed in one of the following "One Year Later" scenes where you see Batty in the background drinking a beer ... I think it might have been when Brockmire was mentioning that they discontinued the colored bat initiative.

agreed but how about this for an alternate ending for Chipping:
He jumps out the window but we don't hear a body hit the ground. A smirking Jughead and Betty calmly walk over to the broken window to see a very alive Chipping slightly bouncing on the safety net set up by the waiting FBI agents pointing guns at him. Chipping looks up and yells "I would've gotten away with it, if it wasn't for those meddling kids!!"
I saw how they had that same window framed in the shot and was expecting DuPont to jump through it. too In my alternate ending, DuPont would've bounced off the window and landed on the floor while Jughead smirked that they were expecting this and had the window reinforced.

Expedition X question here on the Mammoth Cave episode. Why were there shadows on the walls when Jessica went "all-dark" using the night vision cameras?

Gah, that was a supremely sad setup for ToyCon - a bunch of card tables and folding chairs in an empty warehouse. Do better National City!

I thought it was a satisfying finale. I liked the call-back to Peter Gregory from Season 1 - RIP Christopher Evan Welch. I really liked his character and it was a shame that he passed away.

Ugh, Holiday Hearts with Ashley Williams and Paul Campbell was just absolutely dreadful. The plot device to get the two leads to get together and care for someone else's daughter (who, of course, has a dead mother) was really stretching reality. This had to be one of the worst efforts yet and has absolutely ZERO re-watchability.

"Christmas at Graceland - Home for the Holidays" -
Priscilla looks like a white wax corpse. Just really sad.
It wasn't horrible. I still have a hard time seeing Adrian Grenier as anyone but Vinnie Chase from Entourage. I liked the female lead, she was another who I thought seemed real instead of appearing to be acting. However, Mrs. AAEBoiler was getting ragey with the depiction of all the snow in Memphis. I have to agree that it was a bit ridiculous.

Christmas Scavenger Hunt was fine for what it was. At times, it felt a bit like there was a non-tropey, dynamic Christmas movie trying to burst out of the Hallmark format, but the clichés were often overwhelming (i rolled my eyes at the kid with the military parent), and kinda dragged the overall scavenger hunt down.
Yeah, Christmas Scavenger Hunt was incredibly predictable but I really liked both leads. They had a lot of chemistry together and seemed much more believable as real people instead of just looking like actors playing a role. This one has "re-watchability" for me.
