Still blame John Hannah for having a perfect mixture of slimness, but somehow being likable at times.
I'm assuming you meant sliminess but he is slim too. :-)

It looks like they've been reusing old footage because a few of the recent "new" episodes has clips of the kids where they appear several years younger. It's very apparent with the older son (Bryce?).

What is happening to this show? It used to be so interesting and tense to watch but now there's just nothing going on at all.

I actually went to IMDB to see if it was the same actor playing Clay and Caleb only to find out it wasn't. I actually thought it was the same guy ... especially with the blocking in a few of the scenes they had together. Am I the only one who thought that?
Otherwise, a big "meh" for the episode.

Which is why I want his show cursing self off this show!
Don't be too worried, I think the show has already gotten the go-ahead for Season 2!

I have answered my own question with the help of google. Duh. She was making a copy of the key.
Ok, do tell ... what does heating a key have to do with making a copy?

As one who is new to the show - watched all of season 2 in the past three weeks ...
Ugh, it's only Season 2?!? Gah, this show is such a drag it feels like it's been on forever.

I don't think Max is "alpha" enough for Carrie. Max is more the temperament of Otto or the boyfriend in Germany that she had. Nice, but not what floats her boat.
Agreed. Max is 110% "friend zone".

After watching the first two episodes I think I kinda like this. It's a little "raunchy" which is something different that what we normally see on cable shows outside of HBO, Showtime, etc. I don't quite get the doing play-by-play over the loudspeaker because there's no radio contact but I'll let it slide ... for now. I like the "social media" guy who's live-broadcasting the games on his phone camera. I'll be curious to see what else they do with him and I would like to see them flesh-out some of the players a bit more too.

The whole "6 weeks later" really messed things up. So, I'm to believe that it took an entire 6 weeks before Carrie even had a home visit from Child Protective Services?!? It also took so long to clear Quinn's stuff out of the basement apartment? The whole time jumped just made the ending seem really weird. Wasn't too much of a fan of the finale.
Plus, last week's episode only clocked in around 46 minutes and the finale was only around 52 minutes? C'mon, this isn't network TV where you have to build in time for commercials. You have an hour-time block for a big cable show, use it!!!

Ok, I apologize if I missed it skimming all the pages (and haven't read the book ... yet) but why do the interviews keep referring to "trivia night" when the gala was all about the Elvis karaoke?
Also on a snarky note, were Nicole Kidman's acting cues for "how to channel being afraid" to think about Tom Cruise recruiting her into Scientology?

I liked the finale. I'm partial to warm endings like this and not ones that are controversial or make me think or just piss me off.
Like "How I Met Your Mother"? I still have never watched a repeat in syndication since the finale. #NeverForget

Next episode he invents the Awesome Blossom for Her Majesty.
C'mon, everyone knows that was created in Australia!

The two best parts were the Morgan Feeeman voiceovers at the end of the episode.

Agree with comments upthread that Kara/Supergirl has 1000 times more chemistry with Lena than with Mon-El.

I am fully shipping Betty and Jughead.
Someone upstream suggested "Betthead" ... I also was thinking "Bughead" or "Jutty".

Gah, for a "kids show" it really hits me in the feels sometimes.

Did anyone get the impression that Tony, newly separated from his wife, was very taken with that blond punk rocker chick?
I had no idea.

Back to the ep: we saw Raina, but where was Nimah?
The actress who plays her was probably smart enough not to participate in the season. ;-)

The Wayne manor needs some security, it's far too easy for people to break in.
If I ever win that damn lottery I will move into a mansion where I can have floor-to-ceiling window-doors that I can throw open while I luxuriate and watch the drapes billow in the evening breeze.

(you can definitely tell who a Meryl Streep daughter is)
Wow! I had no idea Grace Gummer was Meryl Streep's daughter! The resemblance is obvious now that I know.

I don't know which show is dumber, this one or Wayward Pines. Or, I may just be the dumbest of all since I'm watching (hate-watching, actually) both shows each week. At least I'm still getting other stuff accomplished while I'm watching so it's not a total waste of my time.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong but I though Cersei had asked Qyburn to dig up stuff about the High Sparrow.

Simcoe also needs to live long enough to be the inspiration for Wile E Coyote because he just won't die no matter what happens to him.

Brockmire - General Discussion
in Brockmire
Loved Lucy's line hilariously telling Brockmire to, "just unload on her as he wouldn't be the first that day".
