  1. Jalyn is a good dancer but anyone can have an off day. It kind of sucks if your off day is auditions, but that's show biz (literally).
  2. My issue wasn't that girls talk about work. That's normal. Everyone talks about work. My issue was that people were specifically told not to talk about one thing and they did anyway. But whatever, it's clear that people have different values. C'est la vie.
  3. Ooh interesting theory! I like it! Look I know it's "just cheerleading." But when people are asked to not do something and then they do it anyway it says something about that person, whether it's cheerleading or flipping burgers or the Pentagon. It's shitty.
  4. If they were in the room when Kelli or whoever said this then they were granted access by means of employment or contract and that access needs to be restricted through termination. If Kelli said this at a cocktail party then of course this would not apply. Remember that whoever is leaking this information is making the organization look bad and that is a cancer that needs to be stopped. It doesn't matter what the subject matter is. Leaks need to be plugged.
  5. Victoria was rightly cut. The current troublemakers have not been. That's the double standard.
  6. It's just an example. Another example would be employees and contractors with NDAs which are contractual, not ethical. Even standard employee handbooks probably cover this situation. If you as a friend got some info and posted it, you are under no obligation to keep it secret, but your friend is in the wrong.
  7. Yes, telling the truth can be toxic. For example, as a lawyer, I have clients who tell me things in confidence. If I turned around and posted what they said online, I would lose my job and probably my license. Even if it is true.
  8. I am so sorry. I had one of those, too. No one who hasn't been there can possibly understand what we have gone though. And maybe VK is, maybe she isn't. In my view, this is not about her. I come from an era in which you don't badmouth your organization online or to loose-lipped buddies. If they ask you not to discuss something you don't discuss it, unless they are breaking the law or something. If I knew an employee was doing this repeatedly, they would be on the street. If it's a non-employee with access, I don't care if it's the guy who makes my coffee or the head of CMT, that person would be banned from the premises. This has absolutely nothing to do with Victoria. It has to do with people in your organization who are actively working against your organization's interests. It needs to be stopped.
  9. Kelli allegedly told the candidates "Don't say or do anything that makes Victoria look bad." And then allegedly several of the candidates reported this to smplsimon, a person well known for posting on this forum, in direct violation of this alleged directive. This is termination worthy behavior. All of them should be immediately cut.
  10. Then all the toxic bitches should be fired.
  11. And then your toxic insider friend violated that by telling you. That bitch needs to be fired. She may well be the worst employee in Cowboys history.
  12. The irony of the situation is that if they hadn't shown Victoria favoritism by putting her in TC when she wasn't ready, she would not have been in a situation she couldn't handle. She was immature and not fit, certainly, but I don't believe a lot of the allegations, especially when they were either not addressed or contradicted on the show. I know no one owes me receipts, but I don't owe anyone blind faith, either. I'll say it again, if an insider is truly feeding people here gossip about TCCs, she should be fired immediately for being a toxic shit-stirrer.
  13. From what we saw, Victoria was better than Daphne, so if anyone got favorable treatment it was Daphne. But as usual, every decision the DCC makes has to be run through the VK Filter. Have we even seen Jalyn's SG audition? What was her reputation last year? I mean, they took Daphne over her so there must be a non-Victoria reason for her cut. I know that hurts the narrative, but what can you do. After the backlash to Victoria's reaction for not making it last year, I hope Jalyn has the good sense to suck it up and not whine about it. If anyone (not picking on Jalyn, just in general) quits over not making SG, I say good riddance. No one needs entitled brats on the team. Of course, I don't give a rodent's rear who is on SG. Like it literally does not matter to me at all.
  14. I don't think people appreciate just how hard dance is on the body. I hope your daughters found their passion in another discipline. Dance, sports, music, writing...it doesn't really matter as long as they are happy!!!
  15. The cactus in Gina's picture makes me nervous.
  16. She just graduated. She was on her dance team for three years, was Rookie of the Year, captain, and team MVP her senior year (mom brag). Her plan now is to take drop in classes just for fun and to keep up her skills. She has been taking a lot of classes with a guy named Stevo McMaryion. One reason I don't judge anyone based on these classes is that they are not auditions! In this class she was just having fun, not trying to impress anyone with "extra pop" or doing full makeup and hair. But she has matured as a dancer a lot since this was taken in 2015. BTW, she's on the right, front row.
  17. I am so impressed with these photos. I think they are the best in years. Thanks for posting!!!
  18. That's crazy you posted this. My daughter went to only one of Michelle's classes and it was this class way back in 2015! This is before she danced in college so it's fun for me to see how much she has grown since then. Here it is: https://1drv.ms/v/s!ApM8UJndzybJ6WTvNPp7AV9GhJpD
  19. I forgot Bridget was on Rosary! That explains a lot. Rosary is one of the top HS teams in the country. Man, those girls can turn! Dan Sapp puts out a great product.
  20. The bar for MTT was definitely lower for Victoria than it was for other candidates and despite this she did not make the team. This proves two things: (1) there was favoritism, and (2) any claims that she was "guaranteed" a spot on the team were outright lies.
  21. The general consensus, which is rare on these boards, is that she is amazing. Great dancer, gorgeous, sweet personality. The total package.
  22. If anyone ever watched So Sharp, the reality show about the Louisville Ladybirds, they made a big stink about point for every routine. The ones that got it would gloat, the others would pout like infants. Most of the time they gave the jazz routines to the white girl and the hip hop routines to the black girl (eye roll). Anyway, these girls despite being great dancers were all the meanest mean girls who ever meaned so clearly that was not a factor. Then after the season the coach was fired for embezzlement so there's that.
  23. I could not care less who is point. I am sure any one of the people mentioned, as well as several whose names never come up, would be just fine.
  24. I agree, what a fun tradition! Each and every one of those women looked like she was having the time of her life!
  25. Of course they could! Most auditions for teams, dance troupes, musicals, etc. take place in a few days. They could easily choose the team in two weekends, then have a summer of rehearsals full of learning and bonding, and without the toxicity of internal competition and nine swords hanging over people's heads. It would be healthier for the girls individually and for the team as a whole.
