  1. I am glad the whole virginity thingy ended, it was awkward to say the least, even I did giggle when Sassapis threw her off the wall. Ben Feldman is 44? wow! The scenes with Jay looking at Sam and Kyle talking to noone reminded me of Izombie when she had the visions. That was quite meta!
  2. It is unfortunate that Kaya is leaving the show ( as regular). Her chemistry with Elsbeth was amazing, it will be tough to find a replacement. As far as I understood, the actress wanted to leave the show, although with showbiz you can never know what is going on behind the scenes. The whole darkish turn of the show was a surprise for me. But it is welcome, cause, how to say this in English, it gives a bit more character insight and development for Elsbeth, who till now was just the eccentric tad loony bright lawyer. But she is still human after all.
  3. They should asked AI to choose the cast! Or even AI won't be able to cast without offending anyone?
  4. yep.... the LAPD culture the show used to be about... a bazillion of seasons ago.. :( He is like a young T-1000. He was even running like one. I was actually surprised his leg did not regenerate by itself!
  5. Just judging from engagement on this site, and probably other TV fan gatherings we are in the minority. Yep, it seems Chenford is really popular. I don't mind them, I am quite ok with them, what frustrates me is how the writers treat the audience with this "drop by drop" torture like if we are in the 90s or something.
  6. I am trying hard to ignore how unrealistic this show is... I do, I really do but, well sometimes it breaks me! Why Seth didn't just shoot the guy instead of warning Nolan? Or warn Nolan *and* then shoot the guy? Why that bad guy wanted to kill the fugitive and his wife? Why the show was so cruel with Seth and literally crippled him? I am not gonna miss him, but the dude needs help not bullets. What this show says to its viewers? that pathological liars deserve to get shot and handicapped? Then what people who tell a hitman where to kill his target deserve? Cause Bailey is actually responsible for two deaths, but hey, she doesnt lie, well not as much as poor Seth. Even the nice fugitive was spared, but not Seth! Seth is the devil, Seth is the devil! The writers are having an "internet is bad" season. First the idiot that posted stupidities in the department's social media causing riots, then the Zuzu entity, now the juvenile influencers from hell. Also, at this point, I do not care about Lucy and Tim anymore. Oh and Lucy, your protege Tamara? an idiot. A complete idiot.
  7. Captain Sandy Yawn and Hannah Ferrier announce public reunion after Below Deck Med feud
  8. If you are a decent writer you can achieve both.
  9. The writing is not good and tries to transform Dark Winds to a mainstream cop show full with cliches. That 360 shot of the two Border Patrol ladies in the previous episode was ridiculous. As was the whole train sequence in this episode. We can see cops running around with their guns in a bazillion other shows. Here you have the chance to tell a story in a unique setting and you waste it with cliche bs. The show, the characters and the actors deserve much better.
  10. If I remember well, there was a L&O SVU episode inspired by the headlines, that had to do with Trump. It was never aired.
  11. If it was only your country... I am afraid is a global phenomenon ...
  12. Wow, that shooting was so Law and Order. I did not expect that. I like that she show questions how to defeat corruption today. Of course shooting it (literally) it is not the answer, but what can desperate people do? Sometimes they just loose it.
  13. I absolutely dislike this kind of episodes. So I do not intent to watch it. Could a brave person who did watch it let me know if something important happened during this episode? Like...ermm Bailey going to prison for assisting a hitman killing two people? Thank you in advance! p.s. does Lucy still wants to work undercover? is there a specific number of public TV appearances required to do so?
  14. First of all "Bravo!" To add that there are also more suspects with strong motive, the relatives of the other people that died in that "accident", plus the Vine's widow. The whole FBI thing only happened to put Joe and Emma's relationship in peril. Which is silly, since I am pretty much sure Emma suspected Joe from the moment Vines disappeared or when found dead.
  15. Are police so incompetent in the books as well or this is only in the TV adaptation? I still cannot get how Chee didn't get the professor and I am trying hard to understand why Bernadette trusted any of her colleagues since it was more than obvious most of them, if not all, they were corrupted. The only realistic situation this season is the family drama between Emma and Joe. I do not believe I am writing this, but even season 2 was better. And I disliked season 2. I think the writers cared more about the vision-episode than the rest of the story. Btw, from all these American series I have watched, I remember that the wife cannot be forced to testify against her husband, or something similar. So Emma didn't have to say anything to the FBI lady. Right?
  16. I wouldn't mind having more Brady and Benson episodes. I like the chemistry and the balance Brady brings as she manages to tame Benson a bit :)
  17. So Stabler keeps working as undercover, despite the fact in a previous season his face was on TV for police corruption accusations. Oh, the stupidity...
  18. I quite enjoyed it. Fullest review at the SVU forum.
  19. Despite the fact that I (actually it seems most us) figured out the guilty dude quite early, this is probably the best L&O crossover I can remember. Mostly because there was lack of hysteria and less cliches than usual :D The Good: -Nice chemistry between everyone from both shows. I liked the DAs, I liked the detectives and I liked the captains. I really liked the captains and how Brady seemed to bring balance to the universe against Benson's saintly force. -Stabler. I literally laughed out loud when he appeared. I have stopped watching his show, so I quite enjoyed his cameo. -Is this the first Law and Order this season without a debate/moral dilemma? The bad -Was there any reason they kept showing us that charred body, again and again and again? -Although the case was interesting, the guilty dude's actions did not make much sense. Oh well, at the end he got what he deserved. -Killing Maria. I really disliked this. Her character deserved better and it wasn't necessary to trigger Benson's rath. The should had killed the M***** girl instead :P ( I do not even dare to write her name) Overall, a pleasant surprise.
  20. This show loves flashbacks, we get them before each episode. Why it feels it has to keep reminding us things? I think, please correct me if I am wrong, we basically got the show's premise before every single episode through the whole season. "Hey Viewer! Do not forget, Matty is there for her daughter". Do the creators thing we are idiots? Same here. I did not enjoy the cliffhangers, although there is still a chance/hope they are going to resolve this in the first few episodes of S2 and then go to a new direction. My guess is they will go after Senior. And then I hope they will all start their own little firm or something. I really do not want a repetition of S1 with Olympia being a part of the team now. The writing sometimes is really annoying.. Like Julian appearing to the bank at the "right" moment? Same with Alfie's dad. I think daddy would be a very welcome "nanny". Edwin complained to Matty that he can't be the only one taking care of Alfie. And, oh the miracle, daddy appeared to help with Alfie. I liked the fact that Matty's hubby seems fed up with all this, it does make sense. I also, and for the very first time, I did not find Billy and Sarah annoying. Who knows, I might even get to like them next season. But I still do not care about their personal "dramas". Somehow though, I believe their issues will be the reason for them to follow Olympia to a possible new firm. To conclude, it was an interesting season, not sure though I would had kept watching if it wasn't for Kathy Bates. They need to improve their writing, now that they have set a foundation. I think the revenge scheme must end asap and move on with Matty being a lawyer again trying to win cases.
  21. Decent episode from quite a decent season. Bruno has been a good addition to this show.
  22. I honestly have no clue what the hell happened in that dark web plot. It was even worse than "Inception" and the dream inside the dream inside the dream thingy :D The whole Malvado plot is horrible. As it is the fact that Bailey contributed to have two people killed and was never punished plus her idiot hubby seems to have no issue with it...
  23. Well... this kind of episodes are not my cup of tea... visions, dreams, hallucinations, yadda yadda yadda. I do not remember anything about a pedophile priest, did they just think about this story, of Joe's dad taking the law on his hands, to help Joe feel better? Or it is in the books? I still think this season is an unfocused mess. And Zahn McClarnon is an amazing actor (and deserves better writing).
  24. Remembering their ER years? Ok, even if I am getting really tired from having a debate/dilemma in every freaking episode, I liked this one. I think it was well made for once. My only objection was the jury deciding guilty. I expected at least a hang jury cause I do not think the evidence from the prosecution were strong enough.
