Hi - I'm not dead. That trick - installing without your permission is being done to everyone I know. There is an option to return to your previous Windows 7 after the installation, but I'm not sure where it is. So far I have managed to outrun them - my son is very good with computers. He says Windows 10 has the ability to save everything you type, private messages on Facebook, emails, details on payments, orders on e-bay or Amazon, conversations with your bank, comments you make on any open forum (oops! - that's us) if you enable a certain function on your keyboard. There are ways to disable it, but a regular person like me would never figure it out. It's like the Google history thing, if you log in to google and go to your history, you can see every search you have ever made on Google. That's too much "Big Brother" for me. It seems that everything around us includes spy wear of some kind and it pisses me off. I'm not running a meth lab or anything, but I prefer my privacy. Now I hear that the newer TV's and our cell phones are recording everything we say and I really resent that. After it installs, just check the information it gives you and it should give you an option to un-install and return to Windows 7, which is the best one, in my opinion. I am still running it with no problems. I miss all you guys and my vodka - my life is complicated right now and I'm not even reading. I'm in this thread looking for something Snap mentioned, but I don't think I'll ever be able to catch up. I have between 20 and 30 un-watched and un-FF'd episodes on my recorder and will have to delete soon. I never learned how to navigate the new system here and I hate it. I have been able to keep up with my private messages and finally figured out how to post, but I am not having fun, so I am not on the board. Keep up the snark - I shall return eventually. Edited to say I am overjoyed with the news that JFP is toast - next, a way to dispose of Chuckles and Eric Braeden.

Waiting, and not patiently. I expected more problem with the vodka, but its the coffee that's killing me. Also it causes some kind of detox, and all my muscles are sore, even the one in my foot that points my toe. Fingers not so great, either, but they say that's part of it. No dairy, no gluten is a pain in the ass, but its just for a month to get the blood sugar in range, and then they will tailor it for me. Can't wait for that day. If fact they can shoot everybody in the head except Jack and Sully CAN, I haven't seen little Johnny in so long, I'm sure he must be 12 by now. If Nikki is going to snivel over the idiot, she could do it in private, and not call Jack to watch this nonsense. The entire world would be better off if the turd was dead. pearlite, I must be crazy or getting too old to use up the oxygen, but was Lana Turner in Midnight Lace? I swear it was Doris Day or at least, I thought so. Admittedly, it's been at least 30 years since I saw this, but that movie scared the crap out of me. I think I'm getting off the computer - it has taken me 15 minutes to type this with untold errors, and I need coffee to function. I hate feeling like this and its only my fourth day in. Much as I hate him, this blooper almost makes me like him a little. Something to indicate he's human and can laugh at himself.

I never watch, just FF, so I must have missed how show explained Michael's pathetically useless peepee. One day, he was refusing to talk to Lauren because it was broken and he couldn't function as a man any longer, and the next time I stopped long enough to see them, he was kissing all over her, and wasn't even seeing a doctor anymore. No chemo, no treatment, no discussion, no solution - just all magically went away. Is that the whole story or did I miss something while I was drinking?

Super Post, as always, but my question is to you, boes, or anyone else out there, is WHY - to the bolded. WHY does this man have everything he wants, WHY must he always be the winner, WHY do they expect us to believe he is strong, smart, or even human? There must be some reason that he has such a hold over the entire show, no matter who the producer is, no matter who the writers are, or no matter how lame the story has to be. He is an old, worn-out actor, who cannot even be bothered to learn his lines, or speak them clearly. He is decidedly unattractive, arrogant, and incompetent: I am referring to the man, Eric Braeden - not Victor, the character he plays - although they seem to be one and the same. I have watched this show from the beginning, and I simply cannot watch it again until this man is off my screen. Truth is, he will probably outlive me, and I will never have the answer. I have tried to keep my mouth shut, but when I don't vent, I drink more. My Grey Goose budget cannot afford to be raised again, and my liver is probably not happy.

If there is a God, please let it be Victor. After that, there are so many choices, it hardly matters. Obviously, Summer is on the top of my personal list, along with Sage, Luca, Marisa, Abby, & Stitch, As long as JFP is there, it won't be Summer, Noah, Dylan, Sage, or Billy. I don't even care anymore, as long as it isn't Jack.

I guess I'm stupid, but I just assumed you could buy beer and wine at any supermarket anywhere in the U.S. We have liquor stores for the hard stuff and you can't buy it on Sundays. Years ago, you couldn't buy beer until after noon on Sundays and I never understood that. You can buy pretty much whatever you want here, but this is Texas, which makes a difference, I guess. Its weird here, too - you can probably buy a machine gun, but you can't buy pot - no, sir.......not legally.

It sounds better than the one we are occasionally watching, and much more believable.

I know this probably belongs in "Unpopular Opinions" but.....the way Phyllis is being written now, Michelle Stafford could play this better. The character is totally unpredictable from one moment to the next, making every stupid choice possible, and bat-shit crazy as hell. This is what Michelle Stafford does better than anyone else - let the stoning begin.

Is GH writing her and the 3 kids out? Oh, I guess it would just be 2 kids - lucky Sam would get the brat, Jake, since he's Jason's. Nice play on words - can't stop laughing at this one.

I love, love, loved him as J.T. on this show, particularly with Lyndsy Fonseca, back before they killed off John Abbott, The writing was much better and the stories were worth watching. He did look young for his age and he will appreciate that, eventually.

bannana - I am so glad to see recaps again. You saved my life by having me skip the Victor/Summer shit, and now I know to FF until I get to watch the bolded above. I said I was never going to post again until I had something intelligent to say, but its never going to happen, so I'm just jumping back in. I never stopped reading - just stopped posting. I have missed the interaction with such crazy and witty people. I actually got out of bed to make this post because I forgot to thank you earlier.

Thank God you drink - I'm sure we must have some preverts who don't drink, but I don't know how they exist. I am an x-preacher's daughter, (fundamentalist) and this is the point MAB, JFP, and Chuckles have brought me to. I prefer Grey Goose, but don't mind Frozen Margaritas and good Rummmmm drinks. I do drink wine, but my sister has spoiled me to the good stuff, and it wipes me out. Hell of a party going on here, in spite of, or because of, the crappy show. Edited to add commas, but I think there are too many now - must not type and drink.

Welcome to the best board I've come across since I've been using a PC. The mods here are great, and the snark can't be beat. Just because I don't post often, does not mean that I don't read, and cry in my vodka on a daily basis. I hope you post often, since so many of us are in the midst of a pity party, and aren't really watching. Looking forward to reading your posts.

I, too, sent in my 1,000th complaint, but I don't think they even read them. They either don't care what the fans think, or they don't intend to do anything to correct EB, JFP or Pratt. I have been done with this show for so long now, but I'm glad I hung in with the recording, just in order to capture that show where everyone dumped on the old pisser. I will watch it occasionally to remember the one good show in the last 3 years. Cheers, Preverts.

Thanks, Bannana, for the brilliant recap that insures my NOT watching yesterdays episode. I enjoyed the attacks on Victor and watched it 3 times. I have it saved so that I can watch it again, after Victor is declared the savior of the entire world. I was looking forward to seeing him taken to jail and some kind of confrontation with Jack, but that is not going to happen, I see. Back to the FF button and probably just an entire delete of Wednesday's show. I have missed your recaps, and this one is a beauty. Mia, I know this is probably the end of the road for you, and I am sorry. Its just never gonna get better. Too early for Vodka - more coffee, I guess.

NOOOOOO - Not Patty. They can't try her - she's crazy. Damn Pratt to hell - I want Patty on this show everyday. I am not at my best anyhow. My cable box went out over the weekend and I had all last weeks shows still on it. I was forced to watch the drivel on Uverse, which has no FF that I can find. I was prepared with my Grey Goose and my will power, but it was overwhelming. I turned on Simon and Garfunkel to sooth my nerves and turned down the Uverse sound, but I had to sit through all that garbage for about 9 minutes of actual watching. I did enjoy the mug stealing, but my eyes will never recover from the sight of Cane and Lilly doing the nasty. I do rejoice that Dr. Anderson is dead because I may be checking in at Fairview myself to recover. New cable box - new week, sort of - God help us all...................

Not Spinelli - I can't watch that guy on GH. I know people that love that character, but it's lost on me.

THIS - so much. Billy Miller made the character of Billy lovable, in spite of his constant screw-ups. They are never going to replace him, and I hate to see an Abbott gone, but I think the character is just useless. UO, of course, but I feel the same way about Michael Muhney - the tension created by the real dislike coming from EB made that character work, and he can't be replaced, either. I watch GH, just to see Billy Miller, and I would watch any other garbage just to see Michael Muhney. Please don't kill me, people!

I am so frustrated because I don't like him either and I thought he was a fairly decent actor. Now that I'm watching him on Y&R, I'm beginning to wonder why I liked him as Patrick on GH. Maybe I didn't like him after all. I just felt sorry for him because stupid Robyn kept disappearing and everybody wanted him to do something - like W H A T ??? I should give him a break - he's had nothing intelligent to say on either show because the writers all suck. I don't like him with Mop, and I don't like him with Phyllis, so maybe I just don't like him at all. I just know I don't like Billy at all right now. Sorry, JT.

I think Sharon has very bad extensions, giving her hair that choppy look, especially near the side part. Maybe Pratt is doing the hair now - he certainly is doing no writing. I can't comment on Lauren, since I haven't even FF'd yesterdays US show. Just waiting for 5:00 before I watch pieces of that one - I have to have the Grey Goose. #trying again
