David suggested they could be on a Buzzfeed list of awkward wedding photos. I think T'Pring is just being weird. I kind of agree with posters who think she might be afraid that she'd accidentally have sex with David if she gave him half a chance like Jackie or Jamie. Actually Taco Bell, the home of authentic Mexican food, uses taco shells made of Doritos (now in Cool Ranch!) in a lot of items. I actually wonder if the editing monkeys visited Sam this weeks. It seems like there were a lot of soup cut aways during Neil's talk. Maybe she was looking at him but the show thought it would be more entertaining to see her eating soup instead.

I think Sam's old boyfriends are going to stay in witness protection.
-
I wonder if this invitation for drinks is a business thing for David and ends up a big nothingburger.
-
Vanessa and Tres continue to be in an earlier season of MAFS where people actually gave this thing a chance. Sam was less annoying. I assume she's leveling off before the next bout of crazy. If I were Neil, I wouldn't let Sam prepare any of my food. Ashley can show emotions around David. Mostly, the emotion is anger. I don't know if Ashley had no intention of staying with anyone, but their relationship is over.

Keep watching! You won't see anything, but he producers make money.
-
So if the guests pay for the honeymoon, they must really hate David and Ashley.

I think it's the penalty more than the stipend. Breach of contract can have ridiculous penalties of like $1 million. That's usually for stuff like giving way the ending to the show. I'm not sure how they handle minor stuff like being a dead fish during the show.

If Ashley does need to recharge her batteries (because she's a robot, get it?) from stressful situations, then the existing stress of nursing school is way too much. There's no way she should have gotten on this show given what she already had on her plate.
-
So, Ashley's dog Ashley'd her.

This whole David is a monster stuff is heavily based on facts not in evidence and gut feelings. If David is acting, he's acting like a human being. If Ashley is not acting, then she needs to go in the shop to have her operating system upgraded.

David and Neil both have bad approaches. David is a little too invested. I think he wants to be married more than he wants sex. He's pushing for a relationship, which includes non-cringing. Neil lacks passion. Part of that is bad because Sam's a super drama queen. That being said, Sam and Ashley are crazy and even if those two switched spouses, it would be just as bad. Ashley has been pretty good at convincing people that she just needs time. What she needs is for David to leave her alone for six weeks because she only knows how to relate to a guy based on physical attraction. Seriously, David hasn't even been able to TALK to her. There a difference between taking it slow and a dead stop. I think the experts are performing an experiment on a guy who takes things too fast paired with a woman who is disgusted by his looks. At least Dr. C pulled the plug when he told Ashley to explain she didn't want an ugly husband. He probably started texting girls the next day.

So is David texting or sexting? Anyway, at least David has tried to point out that Ashley is slightly less horrible off-camera. All Ashley's friends have done is try to say that MAFS managed to exactly edit out every bit of David being bad and edited in every time Ashley was a cold fish. I notice Ashley's complaints were never about David ignoring her or being on his phone during conversations. Her problems are that David is invading her personal space because he's still a stranger.

I think Ashley may actually be a replicant based on Jessica from S2. The programmers did a poor job. I think if Stalker Ryan was put with Ashley, the police would have been called before the honeymoon was over. It's possible David has been edited as more aggressive with Ashley than he was. David claims that he had a little more contact with Ashley off camera. I think maybe David is getting the "secret creeper" edit this season. The only way I get on Ashley's side on this is if: David ignores Ashley and it drives her crazy. Ashley agrees to have sex with David just to boost her self esteem. David parties with strippers anyway. I have to cut Neil a little slack. He could stand up to Sam, but then she would shoot him with one of her Dad's guns and Neil would be dead. I vote for Neil to keep himself alive. I think it was pretty clear from the casting episode that the show wanted a Black couple and Tres was one of the fewer decent Black guys who didn't want to date outside his race.
-
Ashley sounds like she'll end up having to settle for a less attractive guy because her looks will be gone and it will be too late to keep the kind of guy she really wanted.
-
Sam is now responding to tweets from people who think she's into her roommate.
-
If Dr. C. intentionally made Ashley tell David about her non-attraction to cut him loose, I have to give him some credit. In reality, it was probably the only truth he could drag out of her.
-
Replace one or all the experts with Dr. Phil. At least there would be the entertainment of him berating Ashley and Sam.

This is how MAFS ends. First, we have Vanessa and Tres, who are the only ones left doing what we used to call Married at First Sight. They're enough of a couple that they can go and visit Vanessa's mom. Even if they're not working out, they're both doing the work. Sam and Neil. Now, I am about as short on life experience as anyone you will ever meet, and I've even been to dinner theater. I wonder how forcefully Sam told Neil she wanted the gold package from that place for her birthday and Neil could have the joy of paying for it. Even though I floated the "Ashley may be gay" theory already, the principles could apply to Sam. She seems to have a conservative family. Maybe she thought a failed TV marriage could get her a few more years of not settling down so she can sty on the down-low. Dave and Assley. If next week is any indication, David is done. It also seems pretty obvious that Ashley was trying to keep the upper hand by claiming she needed more time. Now that she had to admit she doesn't want any of what David has to offer, he can now stop pinning his hopes on her. I think with his decent enough looks and winning personality, David can chase a lot of tail over the next three weeks. He might as well. The experts experimented on him by purposely getting him and ice queen who also wasn't attracted to him.

Maybe Neil put Sam in her place. Then he moved to his place. It would be funny if the producers think they could salvage the show by NOT airing a 6 months later episode and confirming the failures. Last year, a second couple broke up and the third had to be talked into staying together.
-
I think the girls are cleaned up reasonably well for the weddings. At least the guys have that first impression that was positive. Vanessa is still keeping up her appearance, Ashley is relying on the assumption that she doesn't need to make herself up and Sam is constantly bedraggled. Jamie is attractive, but she crossed over into creepy doll with all the things she does with makeup. I think Cortney is probably better looking IRL than on TV. I don't remember enough of Season 2 to give a good opinion.

I wonder if Atlanta has a different mix of men and women. I imagine it was hard to get the guys this year, but maybe it was even harder to get women who were not married, but wanted to be married. Just as part of the culture, it may be that women who are looking for a husband can find one more easily. I had a boss who used a phrase that describes dealing with Ashley perfectly. It's like pushing a rope.

The premise of the experiment (which is totally ignored by the show anyway) is that if a person is matched up for a significant period of time with someone they wouldn't normally pick, would they be able to find love anyway? Given that premise, Ashley would likely marry someone she would not want to date. Obviously, dating is not working for her. It's the same with David. He really wants a wife and he's not finding wife material. His standards are apparently lower, because Ashley is good enough for him, despite her problems. If Ashley's problem is only physical attraction, then she's at fault for not at least attempting physical intimacy (hand holding).

Obviously, editing can really mess with reality, but has a show ever turned Mother Theresa into the Whore of Babylon?
-
By true feelings do they mean Ashley tells David that she thought the show was actually "Love at First Sight" and she isn't?
-
I believe that's what she did. There was a short scene where David was asking Ashley how the test works and she talked about the test deciding what to ask based on your last answer.
