  1. That part of the doc was difficult to watch. As PK said, she's inherently cold.
  2. Couldn't be me. If I had any inkling that my husband was up to no good, and the authorities came to me about him. This would be me:
  3. But hey, Sutton dared to ask her questions!!!
  4. Erika probably sees Kyle as the one who "runs the show," so she'll never confront her. I think she's using Dorit, but I'm sure there's a reason she doesn't keep harping on Dorit for Pantygate, etc.
  5. I said to someone else "Is it that Sutton genuinely likes Kyle/these other women, or is she acting in a way to make them think that, so they'll quit bothering her?" It's hard to say, although I agree Sutton looks desperate in behaving this way. They're not worth it. Also, I don't think Kyle is magically close to Dorit anymore either. I get that we're supposed to think they "worked out their differences," but no. For Kyle, that ship has long since sailed. She went into an interview and downplayed her off-camera friendship with Dorit by trying to distance herself in a way that feels like she was thinking, "What are you crazy?" You can't come back from something like that.
  6. The issue with Erika is that there's no such thing as her accepting anyone's apology and moving forward. She clearly carries a grudge like no one's business, and she'll constantly remind you of how you "fucked her over." Erika isn't obligated to accept any of Sutton's apologies. And that applies to all the other people she feels have wronged her. However, once she accepts an apology, she needs to move on. She can't keep circling back to beat the dead horse.
  7. I liked that Sutton said it was time to let that go since Kyle wasn't going to comment further on Morgan. The other thing I was concerned about is that by Garcelle carping on the Kyle/Morgan relationship, some in the fanbase might assume she's homophobic, or leans in that direction (even though she doesn't). On this show, they really need to watch how far they go for the drama. Look no further than Brandi (who's probably one of the most extreme HWs across all the franchises).
  8. This made me laugh out loud, so thank you for that. 😂 FWIW, I'm of the mindset that Sutton should leave the show too. Let the others have at it. At some point, they'll start turning on one another too. That's how this shit always ends anyway.
  9. So many of you have made excellent points, so I'll try to keep mine brief (lol). I like Sutton. I think she's been unfairly targeted since she started on the show. I don't agree with everything she says. Sutton has some issues to work out regarding the way she handles interpersonal relationships, especially in dealing with those who dislike her. She's a mess when it involves an in-person conflict, but she's pretty clearheaded and articulate in her THs. Hopefully, she learns how to better manage her emotions. Sutton kind of reminds me of Brandi (in her first two seasons) in that they allow themselves to be backed into a corner during arguments, and then they respond with guns blazing. This is exactly what the FFF wants because they will manipulate the situation and audience perception toward their side as being "in the right." There's no way the FFF folks don't also read what viewers are saying about them online, and then they act accordingly. A lot of HW fans are absolutely former Mean Girls, or women who were bullied and now need to punch down on other women. That's exactly what the RHOBH subreddit is like. There's a lot of toxic energy within the fanbase, and frankly, I don't understand the vitriol toward women playing a heightened version of themselves on a reality show about wealthy women from Beverly Hills. I think there's a lot of parasocial bullshit happening in the fanbase, and fans who take certain things from the show too personally. And they shouldn't. But I digress ... I had hoped Sutton, before that last dinner, was going to have her "Come to Jesus" moment and let the cattiness wash over her into nothing, but she brought her anger into that dinner, which wasn't a good look. However, it was perfect for Erika, Dorit, and Kyle who want the audience to see Sutton's annoying snootiness and point their fingers at Sutton as if she's the show's true villain (and then they can continue hiding behind their own bullshit and mess). What's interesting is that this season it worked out for them. Just read any forum where this show is discussed, and you'll see what I mean. I'm going to guess that Sutton didn't want to attend that last dinner because she knew shit would start up again, but I've no doubt producers got in her ear and said, "If you don't go, your job is on the line." We know producers do this shit to all the HWs. One thing I'll say is that I wasn't impressed with Garcelle and Jennifer talking about Sutton behind her back to the others. They know those ladies hate Sutton's guts. I don't think they did that to be intentionally malicious, but it was a stupid move that made Sutton look pathetic. Which I'm sure turned on Kyle, and Erika and Dorit because that's how Mean Girls are. Neither Garcelle nor Jennifer appears to have genuine friendships with any of the other women, so I was surprised to see them intervening "on Sutton's behalf" (of which Sutton was clearly unaware). They threw more gas onto the fire when they did that. It also kind of reads like backstabbing your friend, which is a shitty thing to do. There's a fine line between wanting to protect your friend (and her rep), and putting yourself right in the middle of others' fights, and making yourself a target as well. Plus in doing that, Garcelle and Jennifer gave Erika the ammunition she needed to take their comments to Sutton so that Erika could create tension between the three of them. I feel relatively confident that Sutton was annoyed with Garcelle and Jennifer for speaking to the other HWs about her. Anyway. It's clear, to me, that Garcelle and Jennifer have no issue confronting Sutton when she's done/said something that isn't right. We might not necessarily see them do this on the show, but I'm sure they've pulled her aside a few times. We know Crystal did, and she seems to get along just fine with Sutton now. Since I think Jennifer seems like a fun and pretty chill person to be around, I'm guessing there's something Jennifer really likes about Sutton that, maybe, we haven't seen on the show because Sutton's pretty much always put on the defensive. Otherwise, I don't think Jennifer would've stayed friends with Sutton for over a decade. She would've cut bait by now because she seems to have many friends and acquaintances as it is. So those are some of my thoughts on the episode. The rest of you have covered the episode to a T. ETA: My apologies for turning into Dorit on this one. 😂
  10. It'll be interesting to see how Boz's second season unfolds. Whether she finds her footing and succeeds without becoming an asshole, or if she finds her footing and stands up for herself, etc., only to be fired after the Reunion show like Crystal was.
  11. Damn you, @Yours Truly and @Pi237! You both made the points that I was going to mention. Your comments, back-to-back, dovetail each other perfectly. I have a lot to say about this finale, but was trying to figure out how not to be long-winded about it. Now I can skip some of what I needed to say, since you all have covered it. 😃
  12. You just had to go there, huh? 🤣 But I agree about the advantage of having easy roadway access during wildfire season.
  13. Boz's daughter, Lael, is such an intelligent, self aware, and thoughtful teenager. Boz did a fantastic job in raising her as a single mother (who lost her husband to cancer).
  14. I believe it was a rat. Erika probably drove by and threw it onto Sutton's driveway. What's funny about that insult is that I've seen plenty of mansions, and even estates, located on main roadways. Granted they're usually set back from the street, but in LA, there's only so much space to build with their topography. So, I'm not sure that's quite a flex.
  15. Yeah, I believe it too. I'd argue her biggest flaw is that she's terrible at defending herself in an argument when she feels backed into a corner. That's something she needs to work on. Back to Dorit: am I the only one who remembers Dorit calling Crystal a "child bride?"
  16. I also think that, maybe, Garcelle started seeing the show as a sinking ship, which it is, and decided to cut bait now. I don't think this is the main motivator in why she quit, but it's probably a factor. I keep thinking about what Denise said about the show ruining her friendship with Rinna. They used to be pretty tight as friends. Similarly, Brandi burned every bridge the longer she was on the show, but she managed to get herself fired. I think if you come onto a HWs show with a friend on the cast, or you start building a friendship with a cast member, the longer either of you stays on, you'll run into trouble and questions about loyalty, etc. I also remember hearing that Dorit told Sutton (in Sutton's first season, I believe) that what they're doing is a job. However, it also seems that Dorit believed she had a real life friendship with Kyle, so who knows? I realize production prods the HWs to create drama. Personally, I'd rather watch a lifestyle porn show vs one of increasingly manufactured drama.
  17. I don't watch the after shows and WWHL, so I probably miss out on some details. However, given the trailer, I'm inclined to agree with you that something happened during the reunion that led Garcelle to put a nail in the coffin of her time on the show. I think she had an endgame in mind, but something at the reunion solidified her desire to leave now.
  18. Boz is a mystery to me. I don't get why she would be up two grifting trophy wives' asses the way she is. The thing about women like Sutton, Jennifer, and Kathy earning some money via their marriages is that I've never heard anything about their husbands/ex-husbands having committed embezzlement or fraud. I enjoy some of Boz's TH observations because they're spot on, but I don't understand her love of Erika and Dorit. She seems like she would be the type of woman to kind of watch them, cautiously, from a bit of a distance.
  19. I'm working through what I want to post without rambling on like Dorit tends to do. 🤣 It'd be easier with fewer cast members. Lol
  20. I was glad she mentioned this stuff to Boz, but I feel reasonably confident that Boz watched the show in advance of coming onto it. She can like who she wants to because they all do that. I don't know why she feels the need to hear Sutton's side because it doesn't read as being done in "good faith." Don't get me wrong. I do like that Boz corrected Dorit about Sutton's apology and that she needs to take accountability for her part in their fight. That's a classy statement on Boz's part. 👏🏻
  21. I'm wondering if Garcelle had been side eyeing Boz's alliance with Dorit because of her issues with Dorit and Dorit's microaggressions toward her. I know Dorit apologized for her behavior, but it took her awhile to do so. Clearly Boz watched the show, so she knew who Erika and Dorit were. At this point, new HWs can't act as if they're in the dark about their castmates before going on the show.
  22. I'm kind of hoping she'll leave too because of how they'll treat her (and she'll be the only one on her side at that point). I doubt Jennifer will become a full-time HW. She doesn't need to, even though I like her presence on this show. This makes a ton of sense, even though, if I were her, I'd cut my losses and leave too. Scratch what I just wrote about Jennifer not needing to become a full-time HW. 😂 Maybe she would do it for Sutton so that Sutton has another ally.
  23. We'll find out soon enough. That means Sutton no longer has any real allies on the show.
  24. I've enjoyed watching Garcelle and Jennifer too. Although I like Sutton, I have to agree with you that she's made some missteps. But my observations are likely different from the rest of yours. Or maybe not. Lol I have to compose my observations about this episode. The Reunion will be interesting, and seemingly very heated if Garcelle gets up and walks off set.
