  1. Second all of this. As soon as she finished with the poem she could tell something was wrong - so I expect a few post-ep fics to come out that will be set right after that. Because there's no way in hell he would go home without telling her by the end of the night (that would chew away big time for Castle). I think Gates realised that their closure rate in the Precinct probably wouldn't be where it is without Castle's help. Plus like Montgomery stated that Beckett never had any fun until he was around and I think Gates also realises he brings a sense of lightness at times to relieve the pressure for them all when it gets intense. It will be interesting to see if they put in a throwaway line about if the closure rate has been affected now that he's out of the Precinct.
  2. I was wondering the same thing. Some of the interviews imply that he's talking about a new mystery (connected to 3XK) while others are saying it's the disappearance one. Unless he intends to do 3XK in 14-15 and then end the Sweeps by testing the disappearance mythology again before bringing it back in May Sweeps. Hanning's written the first PI one - if he brings in his comedic writing that he did with Frasier when it was a situation of going round in circles like a dance, etc (Three Valentines and The Proposal), then he fingers crossed he'll bring his A game back again.
  3. The first thing that came to mind was maybe he thought if he had told her beforehand that the folk at the precinct might try to get him not to do it so it doesn't jeopardise her position there. But by getting it first (at the same time showing that he has been able keep up with his writing), he's also ticked off any legal complications so he can step into the precinct if need be. I just hope that they don't do separate cases (Amann says they won't). I'm expecting them to be looking at it from different angles (Castle being brought in by the family, while Beckett works from the Homicide department) and then working together at the end to find the murderer, etc. Still would prefer him to be in the precinct of course working with everyone but if it gives a refreshing angle as opposed to some of the tepid storylines we've had this season I'll be happy. I'm curious to see which episode will get him back working into the precinct though officially, since it'll probably come eventually (maybe he'll pass the PI office off to Alexis). Heh. The new set definitely sounds like it's for the office though (at least that mystery has been solved). Possibly 3XK eps? And the favour he'll call in, I'm guessing it'll be for his mythology.
  4. I'm curious to see where Amann and co takes it now. His post-710 interviews definitely has me looking forward to it. I expect a few The Double Down kind of moments.
  5. I mentioned it in the Spoilers thread the other day. That and the mobsters. But that was because the latter was way too obvious when they mentioned they would be in the episode. Agree with with McManda bring back Marissa for Espo! Though it will be interesting to see how Castle gets back working at the precinct since even his connections with the mayor couldn't help it out this time. Plus as soon as he started making his own decisions and not asking the NYPD and Beckett you knew he basically was screwed. As McManda said the main way of getting him back would be clearing his name (so I wouldn't be surprised if he'll be doing some of that while he works as a PI as well). The PI stuff could have the potential of Double Down type of scenario. But at least we've got Perlmutter back going by the promo! As expected Matt M will have a Q&A up with Amann after the episode airs on the West Coast, so it'll be interesting to see what questions Matt puts forward to him.
  6. Meet the parents? Or family members? That's the other one for me that comes to mind around Christmas time.
  7. Same. I definitely think the mobsters are vital in terms of the decision made at the end of the ep. That much I'm certain about. But my gut has been way off lately.Matt M apparently has seen the ep since he wrote in the SP comments and said it was pretty good. So I'm expecting a post-ep interview with DA after the ep airs.
  8. 7.13 will be the first episode of the Sweeps and if we go by the pic that AWM tweeted at the beginning of the season of the episodes then the two parter is 7.15-7.16. So will 7.14 be 3XK since Amann is writing? Amann is on par with previous seasons with his writing the only difference is he wrote two in the first half this season, etc. big question is because Amann has 7.14 I don't see him writing again to back up for the mythology if 7.14 isn't a mythology ep who gets the other part? Hanning maybe. Since you'd assume AWM will write one part. Same goes with directing for Bowman guessing he'll direct either 7.15 or 7.16.

  10. I won't lie my initial reaction when I heard it was something professional definitely went towards the end of his Black Pawn contract and that he may be shopping around trying to find a new publisher. That and something with the mobsters aka ER doc also being a mobster doc at the same time, makes Castle realise he needs to step away from the shadowing for a while to see if he can write non-NH and possibly DS (due to his disappearance might opt to not write a new one of those for the time being) stuff aka recharge the batteries. So even if he's kicked out of the precinct he'll still be working outside on the cases just by himself as opposed within the walls of it (if that makes sense).Whatever it is it'll wrap probably in 713 since that's the first sweeps episode before the mythology two parter, etc.
  11. Hehe to the frying pan - I had to go back and rewatch that to pick that up. And since they won't show B&C in bed ... *sniggers*
  12. They usually have a break the week before Sweeps start. So if they do like they always do I'd say there will be a repeat on January 26. ABC confirmed that The Bachelor is airing a three hour premiere earlier today.
  13. That's the thing which actually worked with Dressed to Kill and Veritas (the deleted scene). Because in those two moments they were in Beckett's apartment or something significant had happened which led to her being there and then they talked. Yet in this one, we got the see you at home comment which reminded me of her going to her apartment in DtK before returning to the loft and talking to Castle.
  14. I mentioned the fight thing above. That's why I think he played it off as the neighbour but if we actually got a conversation it'd be more to remove the bad memories (since we saw on screen more bad than good in that place when it came to them). The only reason I saw they gave for giving up the apartment was for her cousin to move in.
  15. Count me in on being a fan of York's - blame TWW there. Also loved that Hanning said he worked with Ted back during Hope and Faith days. Second the bathroom thing. Only room we really haven't seen in the loft except for Martha's bedroom.
  16. With TPTB I wouldn't put it past them. But it is good to finally have some K/L scenes since they were severely lacking for a few seasons.
  17. I'm having a senior's moment but before this episode did we actually know Beckett had Italian blood in her? Because when she talked about the pan in the teaser she said her nonna. Plus it makes sense with Johanna, Theresa, Sophia.. j/k. The three scenes in the apartment were good because they were all so different in terms of how different people would say goodbye with it. Castle seeing the bad things, which also makes sense considering the amount of fights they had in that damn place, while Lanie hit the nail on the head perfectly and the final scene rounded it up. It actually for me was a good mirror scene to the one in Murder He Wrote at the Hamptons. In that one we had apprehension of going an area of Castle's life, etc and after the conversation with Lanie when she says goodbye it was that in reverse. Finally accepting that yes it was time to say goodbye to it.
  18. If there's no preemptions next week for Castle then we'll get a good idea in terms of stabilising the ratings without The Blacklist, because it'll have people deciding whether to watch SoA Ep 2 or stay with Castle/NCIS LA, etc.
  19. Old Man Winter strikes gold. Damn I couldn't help that pun.
  20. The recent one that come to mind but it in terms of walking away from contracts after they've finished so not reup was Sandra Oh for Grey's. Anytime I think of contracts I always think back to Julianna when she didn't reup on ER. Knew the time was right even though she was a main character, an example where you can throw a truckload of money at someone but they in the end said no thanks. But in those situations they weren't the main character of the show so their leaving didn't make or break the show in the end.
  21. Maybe ABC read my post about the promoting 7.07 as opposed to 7.06 on the previous page *sniggers*. Joking, but I'm unsurprised they released a screener for 7.07.
  22. With his alcohol problems, I'd be leaning towards something with his liver. Maybe hepatitis or something like that? Though HIV could be a good guess.
  23. The Revenge wedding . Feels like so damn long ago now I can't remember.
