  1. At the risk of putting my foot in my mouth (but when has that ever stopped me before?) coupled with the fact that I'm often horrible at explaining what I mean... I understand the racial connotations of the term, but as a bi-racial, black-presenting man I've always used it indiscriminately for all races because it is really accurate to describe a specific relationship that other words don't easily work for. You could say "girlfriend" or "ex" or "ex-girlfriend" (but those don't necessarily imply a child is involved). Obviously "mother of my child" would be far more proper, but I just think "baby mama" has a certain connotation that I actually respect because it gives you a lot of context. Generally, that term is used for someone you were never married to (or sometimes not even in a relationship with). Dom using it in what he thinks is a comical context is more annoying because a) it's not a funny term to me and b) he is married to Dani and "baby mama" is a few rungs below the status of wife. So it reads as almost disrespectful to me. "Tennessee's mom" would have worked just as well. As someone who will never have kids and probably will never get married, I don't know why the fact that other people have children out of wedlock bothers me or seems dis-preferable. Especially because I'm not religious (although I was brought up by a mother who was). I guess I just think of it as a respect thing, where you should have enough respect for the woman you're with to put a ring on it, especially if you're going to procreate with her. And I know that may seem a bit sexist, but generally that's how society works. If the man doesn't want to get married, generally y'all ain't getting married. And I know plenty of couples are happy without getting married, and even having children without getting married, but... that wouldn't be for me (and again, it's totally irrelevant to me for the aforementioned reasons). I consider myself to be fairly live and let live, but I honestly think so many issues arise from society because of the circumstances and demographics of single-parent households (and that is among all races). I think things can come across as racist merely if they are more prevalent among certain races, even if the general principle isn't racist. Anyway, I'm probably just rambling now and should shut up. (Story of my life, tbh.) It really is not my intention to offend anybody, but that's usually what people who say offensive things say (which I at least have the self-awareness to realize). I think I'm just a judgmental bitch, and it explains why I live an opulent life of solitude. That sure was a lot to say about a letter that a former reality participant sent to his current reality participant wife.
  2. I'm still trying to catch up, so can someone explain this to me? Why on earth did Dani put Tyler on the block before she checked with her alliance and made sure they were on board to get him out? I know the powers complicated things, but she should have been prepared and had a few options in case something was used at the nomination ceremony. Considering this is the third time she's played, I cannot get over the misstep here. Also, I've decided my moniker for Christmas shall be National Victims of Vehicular Violence Day.
  3. Of course Christmas is going to be the good cheerleader/trainer she envisions herself to be. Sigh.
  4. I'm really going to miss Bayleigh spilling the tea. 😔
  5. This all makes me feel some kind of way (sad) and I am very thankful I only have to read about it and not actually watch it.
  6. I think Grodner has some kind of mental defect. She knows what the world is like right now. There is no reason to not let Tyler fall on his sword and take his tired ass home to Mama Angela. Bayleigh makes for better, more entertaining TV, and having both her and Day in the house over Tyler seems like a no-brainer. I don't get her fascination with that man. At all. And Christmas is going to get drug to the end again, because no one will vote for her because she's an awful human being. Anyone who purposely hits someone with their vehicle has serious rage issues (at the very least) and does not need to be on reality television. Point blank, and the period.
  7. He didn't want to go in the first place, and they shouldn't have coerced him into coming. So I blame her.
  8. I really don't think they're hurting for money though. Like, at all. And I think Angela's parents have money also, because that's how things work in America.
  9. Some days I wish Allison would get hit by a bus. Her replacement could literally not do a worse job.
  10. This has to be the first time ever that the Top Three of the Jokers rankings are evicted houseguests. I don't know whether to laugh or cry. 😂
  11. I remember when the season started, most people predicted this exact scenario of Day and Bay on the block but thought that Day would be the one to go home. Interesting to see that atm it appears to be playing out differently.
  12. I think she looks good in that pic too! Make-up really can do so much--I wish I was a guy who knew how to use it. She has always reminded me, looks-wise, of one of my favorite tennis players from the olden days Mary Pierce.
  13. I don't think she's had any work done. In her most recent pics, she looks the same as always. If she has had work done, she should ask for a refund. I'm actually fine with a Memphis win. I've been saying I want Nicole to win cause I think she might be playing the best game, but I actually think Memphis could be giving her a run for her money. And he's not quite as annoying. I actually think his grumpiness is entertainting.
  14. Did she get a deal for all her guests' travel expenses to be taken care of?
  15. LMAO Janelle and I had a psychic same-wavelength moment.
  16. As nature and God intended. Sorry for the double post. The forum won't let me delete it.
  17. I wonder where she learned to give handies in the BB House then.
  18. It's almost like Rachel Reilly was created in a laboratory for the sole purpose of being on Reality TV. She is GOLD. I caught her on Dominic Briones' IG live after one of the episodes, and she was the star of that as well. When she had to go, Dom just ended the broadcast...cause without Rachel, what was the point?
  19. (this is all IMO) I wouldn't describe Kaycee as butch...but in any case as others have mentioned, that was 2 seasons ago. BB21: Jackson douchedudebro BB20: Kaycee decentperson BB19: Josh doucheclosetcasedudebro BB18: Nicole notPaul BB17: Steve awkwardatthetimeclosetedgay BB16: Derrick douchebro BB15: Andy douchegay BB14: Ian douche BB13: Rachel crazyriggamorris BB12: Hayden dudebro BB11: Jordan decentperson BB10: Dan manipulativehypocritcaldouche BB9: Adam drugdealerdudebro BB8: Evel Dick riggamorrischildofsatan BB7: Mike Boogie certifiablyinsanedouchebro BB6: Maggie cultstarter BB5: Drew dudebro BB4: Jun perfection BB3: Lisa BB2: Will BB1: Eddie didnotwatch The list of recent winners just is unimpressive, period. From a humanity perspective, anyway. I would consider Kaycee and Jordan the only decent winners in the past 10 years who won fully on their own merits. I like Rachel, but she did not win that game fair and square. I like(d) Hayden, but apparently he has very harmful political views. Going back even further, it does not get much better. Lisa seems like a nice person and I feel like Will and Jun were incredibly transparent about their duplicitous actions in the game so I like them. IIRC Eddie is a nice guy, but BB1 is not really considered the same game. I didn't like how Drew treated Diane, and I think he also ran into troubles after the game, so I'm not the most fond of him. So out of 20 winners, I only like a quarter of them as people. I think Maggie was a great player, but she never owned what she was doing.
  20. Who do we think Dani can beat in a Final 2? Cause that is the worst possible outcome IMO. She would get validation that her wretched attitude and actions are acceptable. It's hard to truly predict at this point because we don't know how messy she'll be in screwing over the members of her multiple alliances. I think she could beat Christmas(?), Nicole(?), David, Kaysar, Kevin(?), Da'vonne(?), Bayleigh(?). What do y'all think?
  21. LOL I kind of stopped paying attention after Veto almost a week ago. Kind of got caught up yesterday with the shows anyway. I hate how Nicole doesn't own her gameplay, but I actually think she's a decent player and in a really good spot considering she is a former winner. Of all the people I could actually see winning this game, I want her to the most. She's not hateful or malicious like Dani. Nicole is whiny and complains a lot, but those aren't cardinal sins to me. Maybe with Janelle gone, she'll be more tolerable? *fingers crossed* I just don't want another dudebro to win. I've had it. Officially.
