  1. So, I thought she was Amara but it's pretty clear she is not. Ah! A photo-sleuth job! Here we go: A trio of women: The left and right photo are from Nigel Horsley's BTS work from 4 Sep 15: https://www.flickr.com/photos/49347467@N05/with/21175134861/ Context clues suggests the one on the left is possibly associated with the media. The woman with Mark gives off "waif" vs "siren" vibe: It's all about the shoes. Plus she has a textbook "heart-shaped" face. Adding to that sweetness suggestion. Interesting, IMO, given she's wearing the Mark of Cain. In any case, I think NEITHER is our Amara. The first is possibly a reporter (just for EP6 - which they are on and Misha is in). Misha also said that really, the S10 finale is not fully played out UNTIL EP6. The Darkness is an all-season thing, but I think this is the final shoe dropping (oy, bad pun). So... my speculation: - Amara, when she shows up, won't be carrying a designer black back and the latest fashion. I do, however, anticipate black stilettos. It's part of the "femme fatale" dress code. - Waif with the sweetheart face, dress/combat/boots, and Mark of Cain .... she is either one of many OR... and I'm leaning this way... she's where the Mark went. Jensen's been teasing "where did the Mark go?" I thought he was just yanking our chain (still could be) BUT if EP6 is where the second shoe drops, then perhaps the Mark of Cain has been put on some innocent and it's not turning her into a murder-your-face-off person because she's not actually holding back the Darkness (it's roaming the countryside). I could see finding out that the lock and key exists, but on an innocent, would provide a lovely conundrum for our heroes. As if they COULD potentially put the darkness back but it would condemn this woman. Which Dean explicitly said he would NEVER do. Bottom line: I don't think we've got a picture of Amara yet in costume. I think both were potentials but neither fit the actress.
  2. Sorry I let you down catrox, fell asleep and forgot to vote....
  3. Nicely done!
  4. Here you go: Full: It's a double circle with 4 sigils, top/bottom/left/right, nothing in the center. Here's the "top" (closest to Dean): Left (from Dean's POV):: Right Bottom (farthest away from Dean): I suggest you save these images and either put them on a black background Powerpoint slide and then "slide show" or some other way to display with black surrounding as they are so dark.
  5. Hence the crappy video quality and the reason it took til this am instead of my normal 10pm posting. I recorded it, uploaded to Youtube and linked. Not that I'm obsessed with Supernatural or CDO (that's OCD with the letters in proper order).
  6. Took FOREVER to upload this dang file I originally voted last night at 10, but since I had the eulogy in here, it didn't load til this morning. All corrected now based on subsequent votes. -- "Back In Black" -- "Laugh, I Nearly Died" ++ "Can't Find My Way Back Home" 25 - "Renegade" from Nightshifter 23 - "Oh Death" from Two Minutes to Midnight 21 - "Don't Fear the Reaper" from Faith 21 - "Supernatural sitcom theme song" from Changing Channels 21 - "The Road So Far" from Fan Fiction 21 - "Beautiful Loser" from Exile on Main Street 19 - "Space Oddity" from Clap Your Hands If You Believe 19 - "Carry On Wayward Son" from Fan Fiction 19 - "Bad Moon Rising" from Devil's Trap 19 - "Man in the Wilderness" from We Need to Talk About Kevin 19 - "Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas" from A Very Supernatural Christmas 19 - "Knockin' on Heaven's Door" from Dark Side of the Moon 17 - "Behind Blue Eyes" from Book of the Damned 17 - "White Rabbit" from Hunted 17 - "Wanted Dead or Alive" from No Rest for the Wicked 17 - "Spirit in the Sky" from Good God, Y'all 17 - "The Gambler" from Weekend at Bobby's 17 - "Heat of the Moment" from Mystery Spot 17 - "All Out of Love" from Slash Fiction 17 - "Simple Man" from Free to Be You and Me 17 - "Single Man Tear" from Fan Fiction 17 - "A Well-Respected Man" from It's A Terrible Life 15 - "Goodbye Stranger" from Goodbye Stranger 11 - "Laugh, I Nearly Died" from Bloody Mary 13 - "Do You Love Me?" from The End 11 - "Back in Black" from Bloodlust 09 - "The Weight" from Hibbing 911 05 - "Miracles" from Mommy Dearest 05 - "Can't Find My Way Home" from Do You Believe in Miracles 01 - "I'll Just Wait Here Then" from Fan Fiction Sent off after 3 encores and a lighter tribute and one drunk guy throwing a beer bottle.... 7. That was from when Sam tried to kill him with Rowena's hex bag. Remember the red blood and smoke came out a bit. Then his eyes went all red? Mark Sheppard said at MinnCon that this was a SIGNIFICANT moment. Since they are playing it up in the sneak peek, I'd say he wasn't lying about that one.
  8. Oh I hope so. That would be really cool IMO. FYI, the iTunes "Cover": S4/5 pictures. Sigh. But the S10 iTunes cover is not the S10 poster. Still, I don't think we got any new promo shots this year.
  9. Nothing would please me more than to have Alpha Vamp join Team Light. Okay, I lie. I want Kecin and Charlie back more. But I'm keeping expectations low.
  10. Onto the SNEAK PEAK! Yes, THANK YOU OMEGAMOM for the tip-off. If you want to see it, you have to buy the Full Season Pass for S11 on iTunes. I can't believe (based on the release dates and the reviews) that this thing has been out for DAYS and no one has comment on it on Twitter!? Am confused. Now let me go into full-on SPOILER JOY Mode. Note: It's on iTunes, it's fair game. If too many details bother you ... don't read my posts because I'm holding nothing back. EP 11.01 Title is : "Out of the Darkness, Into the Fire" Here's what our "affected" people look like So (say it' in a Cliff Claven voice...just for fun): - 'ya got your basic black veined "infected with badness" indicators - mob mentality - Sam is NOT black veined so they go after him - looks pretty Zombie Apocalypse (and Jensen SAYS it kind of feels like a good old fashion Zombie movie) BUT: - I don't think they are Zombies. Look at their eyes. They aren't mindless. - The picture we have of the man with the baby - he's not zombie-fied. Now in this clip in one scene he's got the black veins. Not sure of timing. Maybe the veins are CGI'd in later ... but why put it out there in a picture WITHOUT? Other: - I like Dean's "We Made a Promise." "We Did This." I suspect that they agreed to face whatever happened TOGETHER. And it's tested right away. - Dean didn't react to the sheriff like he knew her. I think it's actor reuse vice Alpha Vamp re-involvement. I immediately recognized her as well (it's the eyes, they are very memorable) but they have to recycle actors. They went a little darker on her hair. I think maybe they should have tried blond instead so she looked distinctly different. Ah well -- 11 years, they recycle a lot. - Ahhh Mark... They are SO undermining Sheppard trolling regarding Crowley being dead. Carver: "we have to assume Crowley managed to find a way to survive the attack by Castiel" - Cas is semi-functional in Beast mode. That's interesting. His "why would we talk about the darkness" indicates that it's a localized phenomenon IMO. It'll spread and settle down into Amara but I don't think they will have walking dead all year. - Sam's imaginary friend. I'll be interested in their take. - Lizzie Bordon house - that looks interesting too IMO. Other bits to note: - Andrew Dabb talking. Is he the new head writer? - Eugenia has gone green. I kinda like it. I can't wait. - It's also clear they filmed this while filming EP1. Jaded comment: Arrow fans get a free trailer. Loyal SPN fans get to PAY for the sneak peek. Yes, they know us.
  11. Doh. Insufficient caffeine to pick up on the subtleties. BTW, DEFCON still exists. We still have all the same infrastructure for War (up to Nuclear War, which DEFCON was designed for). The THREATCON is the threat condition and has more to do with individual bases than the commands. What level of threat is a particular area at. For example, there was a West Coast base that had a credible, non-terrorist threat a few months back. The THREATCON was raised, for that base, and then lowered once resolved. We don't actually budge off of DEFCON 5 for much. Because DEFCON, while attached to individual command elements, is a direction from the Joint Chiefs.
  12. Directing is not why he's shaving IMO. I was placing the timing of his shaving relative to known commitments. To some extent, between directing and Dallas Con, I'm surprised that he'd have any non -SPN work between now and then.
  13. He's directing EP8 and they are filming 5. That puts him -2-3 wkd out from prep for SPN.

  15. Dabb mentioned death will continue. Before Luci summoned him in Abandon all Hope, he was in someplace else ... and death itself didn't stop. Sam's hair IS so much better. *sigh* I don't care if it puts me in the shallow end of the pool. Sometimes that's a very comfy place to be. I think the photos WERE the goodie. I thought we might get the poster (they released Arrow on Wednesday) but no joy.
  16. He really is good at those hashtags and random tweets.
  17. Excellent video clips. I'm so enjoying these! -- "Laugh I Nearly Died" -- I DO like it because of the creepy Jess moment and I think it was one of the first if not THE first musical moments. 19. IA that they won't get a biological family --- which is a loss to mankind because: 1) Dahmn -- have you seen those boys? Just sayin' 2) Powerful bloodline (which is precisely why you might not want to burden anyone else with it) 3) Who will be the MoL legacies -- the boys need to come up with a plan there 4) Dean WANTS TO BE A DAD DAMMIT. He adopts young people left and right to make his own "family". 5)They have mad skillz they could pass on. 6) See point #1.
  20. Precisely. And blurting it out at a convention if he WAS concerned? Nope. Back to the recent photos: - So the blond guy is a named Aaron Hill (http://www.imdb.com/name/nm1341364/), he's not a Canadian actor. They are bringing this guy all the way up from LA for this role. And he's been in a lot of stuff. That says to me it's a fairly sizable roll in the season premier. But not necessarily a recurring role and he does one-shots in a lot. I think the sheriff is your standard Candian actor (versus fly in from LA). - And then there's this bit (emphasis added) IMO they can't really maintain a world-wide crisis for a long time, and we know they are personifying The Darkness as Amara.... so, I'm wondering if it makes a big splash at the start and then settles down for the long haul. Like it's disoriented at first and then figures it out. They confirmed that it affects Heaven and Hell and that THEY are aware but they haven't come out and said if the rest of the planet has a clue that something not-good is happening. I'm going to guess "no" (as much as I want the answer to be "yes") because that's complicated from a storytelling perspective. It'll be some odd one-off phenomenon that is forgotten. As Carver said in that interview the other day, keeping it out of the public seems to be an essential contrivance they often use.
  21. We'll just have to agree to disagree on this one. From Social Media, con coverage, and personal observation - these guys are tight and keep no secrets.
  22. 1) Because they are partners in SPN on everything. They ensure they have the same salary, they back each other up on and off-screen constantly, etc... 2) Because he's his one if not THE best friend he has. They often refer to each other as brothers. 3) Because they spend nearly 10-14 hrs a day together 6 days a week, with a few breaks, between Jul and Apr. 4) Because something good OR bad for Jared matters to Jensen and Jared knows this. And if it's a "meh", then it's not a big storyline but he probably would tell him about it anyway.Because that's how they roll.
  23. Regardless of who reads what script when, if Jensen or Jared had a talk with a producer, they'd share it with the other straight away. I have zero doubt of this. So if Jensen was truly surprised on story line (personally I think he was genuinely surprise Jared answered), it's because Jared read something that Jensen hadn't yet. Not because TPTB had a special meeting with Jared only. And if they did, it would have been unusual and Jared would have spilled everything to Jensen straight away. And vice-a-versa. They are really a tight team off screen. I think they realized that was the smart way to go in S1 and they've stuck like that since. It's probably why the show has never had BTS drama. Bottom line: NOTHING Jared said implied one or the other. The question was about "vessels" and he replied in the plural, not singular. There are many more high probability reasons for Jensen's reaction than him not being in the loop about a significant Sam-only character development.
  24. Jared reads ahead, Jensen does not. And they've said that so many times I have a hard time believing that it changed this year. In other words what several already said but I think this one sums it up best: In sum, Aeryn, I think your premise is flawed on this particular occasion. So....the TV Line photos are interesting: 1) Crowley is ALIVE. Not that I had any doubt but what is Mark going to say now that we have a picture of he and his minions in a decidedly not-dead scene. 2) Dead people all over where Sam is at. Is this the Darkness or a side effect of the Darkness coming out? 3) Dean running thru the hall with a sheriff and a baby - definitely has that Apocalyptic feel I don't think we'll have a full-on world-wide Apocalypse going but I could see those near ground zero getting some whammy. I'm so glad we FINALLY got something official.
  25. Excellent and F*CKING TRAGIC point. It's 7:40 am and I'm already sad.
