  1. I am only saying that Coto is a desirable location, based in personal preferences. I lived in a very expensive beach community, Seal Beach, in my 20's, a bock from the beach. I would not live there now, although I still enjoy visiting. Coto is in South County, always considered superior here to North, West and East OC, and yes coukd be transplanted to Tustin, but distinctly NOT to Westminster, which is one of the least desirable cities in OC. I certainly agree there are more desirable locations, simply saying that COTO is one of many that is considered desirable here in the OC.
  2. Just watched last night. I really detest Shep, and he did nothing to redeem himself last night. I hope Craig really is on a better path, since I find him the least offensive of the Three Amigos. Austen is just so boring and useless. I wonder if the Madison hook up story line wasn't really more about saving his space on the show, than securing hers because, really is there anything remotely interesting about him? I wish Naomie luck with Metul, because she wants that ring and I am not sure which will be worse for her, not getting it, or getting it. I know all about the Katherine redemption arc and she is certainly more sane than when she was with Thomas, I still don't buy it. She clearly thinks she can still drink, while under intense scrutiny about her parenting? Really? If you cannot give up alcohol when you know it could jeapordize custody, you have a problem. If you go on National TV drunk, you have a problem. Just because Thomas is a total creep and criminal, does not mean he can't be right sometimes. He said she had a shopping addiction and spends money irresponsibly. Like renting a super expensive place and driving a super expensive car when your only source of income is a TV show that could end tomorrow? He got something right. I also thought her reference to country singer boyftiend not be eatablished (wealthy?) like her older gjuys was telling. Don't count on that relationship lasting. It isn't like she can build a career. Not looking forward to Danni's crying routine next week. I really wish they would lose her on this show. Am looking forward to Madison appearing though, knowing it will get to Shep. I still like Cameron.
  3. True. I am too old to be in love with any of them, I look at it more as "'who would I want my daughter to date? Answer is not a single guy on this show other than possibly Jason if he was single. That said, I do find Craig less offensive than Shep, the lazy, elitist, bigoted POS, or Austen the lazy wimp. Just stepping in to agree about Chelsea, because we are obviously in the minority here. Not her best look, but I thought iy was fine.
  4. That looks like a wierd schedule. I know plenty of people that don't leave their office before 7:00, then commute? Only open on Saturday until 11:00? My bank is open Saturday unti 2:00.
  5. Coto is very desirable. Yes the coastal areas are as well, but beach cities are congested and parking is always a challenge as well as beach traffic. Coto is inland, but they don't have the parking/traffic issues and they are behind gates, which some people really like. It really just comes down to lifestyle choices.
  6. I know so many people that actually lost their homes during the recession. Hardworking people that had owned their home for years. Some overmortgaged them, others simply had no job at all, or went from 6 figures to working at Home Depot. I was lucky to have had savings, or I would not have been able to make my payments after my employer shut down and I ended up taking a job that paid 1/2 of my previous salary, but offered benefits, pre ACA, I was paying $700 a month for personal insurance. Not sure if Tamara bailed him out, or he just worked out a loan modification on his house. That was the other big option at that time. The banks didn't want the houses back, they were overloaded with them.
  7. I have yet to make it through an entire episode of Dallas, but I will probably give it another shot. Also can't make it through Potomoc, long ago ditched NJ and Atlanta, and will not be watching BH unless they bring in a new cast and/or Nicollete Sheridan. OC was my first and I live here, so it is tough to ditch. But this show really has slipped into the gutter.
  8. Agree. I know we are all supposed to feel sorry for her since her daughter wants nothing to do with her but I don't. I feel sorry for all of her kids with Simon because they have to watch their trashy mother acting like the low life piece of garbage she is. I am 64, and have friendships dating back to elementary school, and have never been at a party where someone offered a spouse Anal in front of other people. Pure trash. I also noticed what others have mentioned, that Trashy Tammy was the one that threw that Train story out there, not Vickie. Would not be surprised if Tammy knows a thing or two about the subject, and not surprised if Kelly does. I live in the OC, and have a good friend in Coto. She is horrified that Tamara kerps talking about living there. She texted me while the show was on to say "I think my property value goes down about $50,000 everytime Tamara mentions living here". Best line of the night, as the ridiculous old broads danced on the bar, was Eddie: "This is why we don't have parties".
  9. LOL. Too true. Vickie and Don, Shannon and David...don't recall Matt and Jenna ever doing it though.
  10. I missed that, probably because I find her so boring, but thanks. As someone with sisters, that happen to have a different father, this is just another reason to dislike her. A statement like that is awful, and to put it on National TV?
  11. Isn't Katherine from a socially prominent family? Maybe he worried about that. Maybe he got better editing, but the editors now hate him? Or maybe he is a decent actor. I just don't think you go from nice, polite human being to what we saw this season. It isn't just the awful things he says and does, it is why the heck is he so obsessed with Austen's love life. When my BFF started getting serious with her future husband, after much soul searching, I warned her that he had cheated on every girl he ever dated (I had known him since childhood, she had not). Not surprisingly, she married him anyway. I was a bridesmaid, and I always treated him with respect. He did seem to truly love her but, eventually, he started cheating again and they ultimately divorced. Point being, it is one thing to voice concerns to a close friend, but it is always their decision to make and all you can do as a friend is be there, however it ends up. In the end, they have 3 wonderful daughters and my friends second husband absolutely adores her. Shep is not a friend, there is something really wrong with him. Maybe he is in love with Austen?
  12. Oh, I agree with you. I just think BRAVO might be willing to give him a shot since, although it is hard to believe right now, he was once a popular guy. I would be happy to be proven wrong.
  13. That is true, but there does seem to be a line that only BRAVO can discern. It is one thing to have an Ashley to bring some drama (didn't work, but was clearly the intent), but she was never part of the group. As a viewer, I can get angry at a group member, recognize their flaws, but I still have to see something good in them. Craig is a great example. All kinds of annoying qualites and would not want my daughter to date him, but I believe under all those wrong choices and laziness, beats a kind heart. I can find something redeeming in all of these people, even if I find them boring or dislike them. Except Shep. I do think there is a point when BRAVO stars lose all humanity and then the viewers are finished. My guess is Shep will get another season to redeem himself. That could end up being the last season unless it gets more interesting, but my guess is, unless he can do that, the show may go on, but he will be gone.
  14. I think the point has been made how intense it is to study for the bar. I certainly get that you aren't going to be focused on social events But this was a family birthday dinner and cake. He has to eat, so maybe he normally orders in and eats while he studies, but we are talking about taking maybe an hour to an hour and a half to spend with his family, and have a meal. The bar wasn't the next day. Any way you cut this, it is a total dick move, and his total disrespect to his family is disgraceful. God forbid, it could be his parents last birthday, something you think about after parents reach a certain age.The man is a jerk. Full stop. He has shown if more than once. I hate it when any woman, especially a capable one with resources, puts up with that kind of abuse. And it is abuse, even if it isn't physical.
  15. You may have just hit on why I didn't share in all the baby machine love. I couldn't really place why I didn't think I was going to like her, but this is spot on. It's not like she is some earth mother type. I rarely agree with trashy Tamara on anything, but her response of "why"? when told she had 7 kids was pretty much the same as mine. Attention seeker and, what the heck, it's not like she has to actually be bothered to parent.
  16. As, I said earlier, Shane did not ping my gaydar, but mine really isn't that accurate anyway-Eddie pinged big time and Tamra swears it isn't so. Now that it's out there, though, it explains so much about the marriage. I have worked for, and with, Mormons most of my life and the BIL of my former boss, a very nice man, ended up killing himself because he could not reconcile his religous belief's with his homosexuality. He left an exceptionally detailed letter. So, I totally get that while much progress has been made in the minds of the general public, in some religous circles, it is still huge. The question now is does Emily know? My guess is no.
  17. That was fun. Actually looks interesting, except watching Danni cry...she really gets on my nerves.
  18. If BRAVO wants to make the reunion truly watchable, Andy should fire Shep on the spot. Let him go hang out with his role model Thomas. Just imagine the "On Demand" replays of that scene. It would no doubt break BRAVO records. It is pretty amazing how Shep has gone from loveable Peter Pan, to one of the most hated BRAVO stars and, heaven knows, that is one crowded field.
  19. I agree, I like her, and usually think she looks great.
  20. I didn't get the same gaydar ping-unlike baby machine's hubby which pinged like a brass band-but you may be spot on. It does make sense.
  21. I am 64. My "mom" had "lost" my birth certificate and had died before I sent to the state for a copy. Which was not on file. Long, long story shot, I was looking under the wrong last name. My much older "half sister" was actually my biological mother, my "mom" was my grandmother. And yes, I learned this type of deception was not rare.
  22. I am a Patricia fan, and I get that she is trying to do her part for the show, but if BRAVO wants me to believe that she wasn't horrified by Kathryn's costume they are totally insulting my intelligence. Kathryn's fashion sense seems to alternate between old lady and cheap hooker-with at least one Pippi Longstocking day thrown in. I assume it is her need for attention, but if Miss Pat is really her friend now, she needs to try to school her. Maybe she would listen. I also didn't care for Cameran's dress, but the other ladies looked lovely. I am, once again, struck by how pretty Madison is, which stands out so much because I keep thinking WTF is she doing with Austen?
  23. They are both a waste of time and should be gone, but Gina has the grating voice. Otherwise no real difference.
  24. I can't believe that Shannon is now my favorite, since I barely tolerated her for years. I think it is more just that the others are so horrible, but still. Yes, she seems to be a good mom to her dog and her daughters. Unlike trainwreck Kelly. Gina is awful, I don't care to see her at all and agree with the poster that says she belongs on Jersey, which I stopped watching years ago. Emily is weak and pathetic, in spite of being one of the two professional women (counting Vickie), on the show, her kids are brats and her husband a total A-hole and she accepts it. Not a good look. Tamra is the same as ever generally boring, but I do love her new home so at least she brings a little Real Estate porn. Of course she also brings Ryan.... I am still undecided on the baby machine. I get a vibe from her I can't quite identify, but I have a feeling I won't like her. I had to wonder about the love shack stuff, sort of overkill because hubby gives off such a gay vibe, to put it mildly. This show seems really bad this year, not sure what BRAVO is thinking.
