  1. LOL @ trying to turn Tyrion into the keystone cops because he got out-strategized by his more experienced brother. I almost want Tyrion to be separated so Dany and Jon so fans can stop trying to blame him for everything. That way Dany can go back to causing riots and Jon can go back to getting himself killed with his stupid decisions. It's not that hard to assume that Sam already knows that his father and brothers been killed by dragon fire, if he doesn't by now and he can't put two and two together then Sam's a fucking idiot.ee That being said I don't see his meeting Dany being much different then Davos meeting Tyrion. Maybe it complicates the Sam Jon relationship, but I doubt it. I
  2. That would still be four kids.
  3. Hate to be that guy but it doesn't work. The prophecy also referred to Roberts 19 kids and he definitely didn't live to raise all of them.
  4. Cersei could easily fall trying to back away from Tyrion. That being said, Valonquar isn't necessarily a thing on the show, so we might be concentrating on all this for nothing. Her death can happen however.
  5. I'm more wondering about Dire wolf meat. Someone ask the umbers what they did with the rest of Shaggy dog!
  6. There's only one person on GOT who has choked a woman to death. Whose little brother is that again? :x
  7. How did she lose for that? Academy sucks :(
  8. Not so much a flaw as much as something they don't give a shit about. I believe one of the directors had an interview where they insinuated not giving a damn about the small stuff as long as they were able to maintain their audience. Truth be told, I'm sure that this won't be an issue next season as the reveal happens and everybody forgets the implications of what jon has done.
  9. Ok, that final twist got me, even if I should've seen it coming. It's weird watching a season of Bojack where he's not the fuckup. So Diane and Mr. Peanut butters is over, I guess this will start moving her towards Bojack next season. That episode with Princess Caroline where we're forced to watch her nuke her life was just wow. I was glad that Bojack willingly helped her at the end. I have no idea how to feel about Beatrice. She was quite the sympathetic character, but at the same time, oh my god did they make it hard to identify with her. Her taking that bay at the end of 10 was just brutal. I wanted to like that governor story more than I did, but it felt shoehorned in and it went nowhere fast.
  10. If it doesn't matter then why didn't Jon do it right away? Why did Dany have to prove herself before Jon bended the knee? Hell, why did Jon put his own pride over negotiating with Cersei? As far as he knows, Cersei would've kept her word in exchange for neutrality, so why did Jon feel need to commit the North to a war for something they already had? Do you think that the Northerners don't realize the implications of what Jon just did? Why should Sansa have to be the one to clean up Jon's fuck ups?
  11. Jon being the rightful heir adds a new unfortunate wrinkle in that it ironically actually becomes a game of thrones. as I could see both sides followers making moves to ensure that their side gets the throne. So while Dany and Jon might not be bothered by the news. Others that could be affected might.
  12. Thing is that the Northern lords are really flexible and the idea could've been sold to them alot easier then some think. 1. Sansa is really scared of Cersei. Sell the get rid of Cersei factor and she'd go along. The rest of the Starks are already there. 2. Vale dude owes Sansa a lot for getting him out from under, he'd likely go along with her play. 3. Lyanna would begrudgingly go along with whatever Jon says. 4. As for the rest between the Rhaegar reveal and the combined efforts of Tyrion and Davos, this North could've easily been swayed. Especially after Dany helps them win the war against the white walkers.
  13. Admittedly, I'm exaggerating a bit, but he is making major decisions based on how he personally feels about Dany. So even if he's trying to look out for their best interests, his decision is still a bit suspect.
  14. Sorry, your disagreeing with my premise, doesn't make it false. He's not even consulting them, he's ultimately making decisions based on what's best for him. At this rate, he's no better then Cersei when it comes to decision making. Sansa just told him about this, this season and he's still doing it. Dany rules by conquest and blood and even she consults her advisors. Just saying.
  15. So basically, so he wouldn't look like a dick. Thanks for confirming what I said. The only thing nonsensical here is the strawman that you're trying to set up by pretending that the only time that Dany gets to present her case is before the war starts. The only decisions that Jon makes are unilateral ones, so yea, Jon's a dictator at this point. Doesn't have to before every decision, but he should before he makes important ones like bending the knee to anybody for example.
  16. Except that wasn't a requirement for Dany's help. Dany was offering her complete help regardless. Jon just offered the North to Dany so he wouldn't look like a dick. He could've easily bought the idea to the lords and encouraged them to back her which they likely wouldve done but nope dictators gotta dictate
  17. Helping Dany does not mean helping the North, north can exist without the Queens support much like Dorne has pre ass hole that married their princess. It would be one thing if Jon wasn't making decisions based off what makes him look good, but thats exactly what he's doing. He needs to stop making unilateral decisions that mostly benefit him and his own.
  18. They hate targeryans and they hate Lannisters. Or is all that stuff about not trusting Targs, bull?
  19. I don't see why anybody expects the Northern lords to eat shit and align with somebody they hate just lt because jon says so. That's literally the reason that Jon got killed by the Night watch. I hope for all their sakes that Sansa is still on Good terms with Tyrion and that she's able to convince the lords to listen to what he says and that his silver tongue is on point enough to justify the union.
  20. Bronn or Pod (has to be some reason we see him training all the time), possibly Tormund.
  21. I tend to believe that Sansa's turn into murderer was supposed to happen this episode. I believe that was supposed to be her final lesson from Littlefinger. However, last season they decided to go for a crowd pleasing moment with Sansa killing Ramsay so ultimately it changed the story around quite a bit.
  22. Fair enough. Figuring out whether his greed or his disillusionment was the bigger factor in his betrayal is ultimately a chicken or egg type thing and dependent upon the person watching. However, I think it's ultimately academic as I don't see Cersei even having the connections to pull off something like the red wedding. Night's watch turned against Jon because he insisted upon aligning the watch with their mortal enemies without outlining the benefits of said alliance to them. Similar to what's likely going to happen here. You figured he'd have learned his lesson after his first murder. If anything this action will make said links more exploitable. Especially if anybody hears that Jon could've gotten Dany's help without giving up their independence or even if someone figures out that Jon is sleeping with Dany and decides to play connect the dots..
  23. Then you haven't been paying attention since the whole lead up to red wedding was about Robb's leadership choices slowly but surely disillusioning his men. The North Remembers.
  24. And why did the Boltons turn on Robb? I'm pretty sure the biggest factor was disillusionment in their king.
  25. Are you sure you want to use theon? Ignoring the fact that he used his familiarity with the Starks to infiltrate and that the Starks were in the middle of a war at the time, how long did it take for the Boltons to take it right back from him? If all that happens, the Northern army sure as hell ain't pushing the odds back in Dany's favor.
